Literally the only guide I could find after 4 hours of searching that talks about rotating the cage; installed everything after a clutch service and couldn’t figure out why all my tension was gone. Now I know🙃 thank you!
Really precise tutorial, everything is just fine depicted. Two little thougts tho: Be carefull on cleaning the clutch body itself, in my case years ago, the barrels of the ball bearing fell out and it was kind of tricky to assemble them again. Also the snapring flew away and was nver seen again (I had to replace it ^^) Also i recommend the use of screw glue (e.G. Loctite), a missing screw was the reason why I serviced my derailer :)
Thanks Oreste! Your video has been extremely helpful! I was glad that you mentioned the difficulty to get the axle out, as I couldn't imagine it could be that stuck. It's working silk smooth now again! Great job and keep it up!
You are welcome! You have to unscrew the axle, then the second half of the cage will be dismounted. I als had also this painful situation, i tried to turn the axle a lot with isopropyl alcohol, pushing from the other side with the finger 🥵
I am not able to remove the plate axle. The screw is turning on both sides and there is no possibility to hold the srew on the opposite side of the clutch. Its just a plate. Any suggestions?
@@OresteCiotoli while unscrewing the p-axle (Y5PV98060) the connection between the nut and the outer plate (Y5RT98080) which are I guess glued together, broke. There is chance to fix that anymore.
Not an usual service, and I was happy to solve also this issue! As usual, consider to subscribe for free!

You can put a little bit of WD-40 and let it 5 min, then you can try and clean after that

Which plate are you referring to?
