@@OresteCiotoli I don't have any links to videos, only my many years of experience in servicing and setting suspensions. the topic is so complicated that you could make a two-day training and still probably 90% of people still did not know how to set the suspension.

Absolute opposite. Dot (department of transport) has to be exactly the same regardless of brand. Because it’s made for cars etc on the road the chemical makeup is specific and must be adhered too. Mineral oil is the one that changes slightly brand to brand, each company tailors it to the seals they use.

@@mihaichiriac480 3 4 and 5 are glycol ether based and are absolutely compatible. If you mix 3 and 5.1 you’re not going to get the same high boil temp but any brake made for any dot will take 5.1.

@@OresteCiotoli I've just got it, it's exactly the same, but with either the comfort (mt5) or sport (mt4) pads shipped. The only difference is that it's missing the colour rings around the bore cap, and the estop bore cap is metallic, and the standard version black. The tool needed is some large 8 lobed thing, similar to those plastic ones needed to remove the compression cap on a crank shaft. The very high-end hope brakes have a seal kit etc, so you can disassemble the whole caliper to access all of the parts. Hopefully you can do this with the mt series. Although I've found no guides online.

Io non sono riuscito a svitare l'asse anche provando a spingere da sotto svitando, ma sono ugualmente riuscito a pulire e a ingrassare. Rimontato tutto e mi pare che sia un orologio!! Unica differenza la levetta della frzione ora la sento più morbida, ma su "on" la gabbia è bella bloccata

well not really: first, the Saint brand new never had this problem from the beginning, and secondly the MT7 was working good at the beginning and i felt immediately the difference with the Saint. Even with a properly MT7 bleeded, i know exactly what would have been my preference, and it's a shame because the modulation of the MT7 is outstanding

@@OresteCiotoli Thank you for the link! That helps because I keep hearing conflicting reports about mountain biking in Austria. So many mountain bikers say it is very restricted in Austria so they go to other countries to ride. My husband and I are moving to Europe and are deciding between Austria and northern Italy (I have Italian citizenship). We are mountain bikers so being able to freely ride is very important to us. Have you ridden in Italy much and how do the two countries compare for mountain biking? We prefer XC type trails where we can ride through the mountains for many km - for hours - although we also like technical trails too. Thanks!
