The last few days something triggered me into a horrible dark abyss which I’m finding so hard to come out of. My stomach is in knots and I can’t stop thinking about my life ending or certain family members dying. I feel like I’m losing myself, sometimes when driving I feel like speeding up and crashing just so I can FEEL something other than anxious butterflies. I hope this video will help me.

I am at the lowest point of my life,I've thought of suicde, my problems gone,! I have a wonderfully family, so I wouldn't do it.But for me I've tried mostly everything, my deppressiom and anxiety is really hacking away at my foundations,it's taken over a year to get help, slowly but surely my resistance is starting to crumble.I don't care about money etc.. I just want to be normal and happy but I tired of fighting this day after day😭 I need a miracle!!

I have thought of suicide too sometimes during this very stressful and hard period. In those really hard moments the fear and anxiety are so strong that only the thought of suicide give me a bit of relief as I know they would go away for ever but at the same time it gives me more and more anxiety and fear thinking about my mum, dad and all the people that love me and maybe don't know I'm going through this really hard time. You are not alone we will go though this my friend. Let's try to stay strong.

This really helped me become more accepting of my negative thoughts in the sense that the thoughts don't really affect my emotions anymore, so I can clearly rationalize and just brush them off. Meditating to this even for just the 2nd time helped me to become more peaceful and positive. Thanks so much! Keep doing what you do

    1. Bad thought
    2. Recognition
    3. Brush it aside
    4. Return to stillness
    Thanks so much for this.
I try to imagine a beautiful lake with a mountain 🏔️ at the background like a painting to stay focus and it s much easier to avoid bad thoughts to come along or to recognize them and brush aside. The relaxing music should go for longer though.
    Thanks so much.

I'm having a panic attack rn because of all the pressure of lockdown, exams, exams possibly being cancelled, someone I love catching corona and my grades could start slipping if I slow down now. All my negative thoughts from the past that I got rid of are flooding back and it's like someone's just opened the flood gates. I'm not suicidal but in this moment I truly hate myself and don't wanna do this anymore, school and the world right now. I'll never harm myself but I don't know if deep down I can ever get rid of that tiny voice that always screams I hate you.

Agree 100% with the others who've said that you provide the best meditations and that they were thrilled to see you provide another one! All of them have helped more than I can express, all of the time, though most especially when I was in hospital receiving treatment for my MS. I've also introduced you to others, such as my sister who has a rare condition called Sarcoidosis and my friend who's just had a mastectomy following a cancer diagnosis. You are benefiting and changing lives - thank you so much!

I am absolutely grateful for this video. I just recently got into a fight with my parents and I wanted to vent out my frustrations and anger somehow. Normally, I write in my journal to clear my thoughts, yet my negative emotions did not leave, so I started breaking things in my room and it only made things worse. When I came across this video, I felt a wave of clarity wash over me. I’ve never felt so much better than I have with my previous attempts. If I hadn’t stumbled upon this video, I’d probably be stuck in a rut. Thank you so much and I will most definitely come back again for more meditation!

I've just found this and all MindfulPeace videos, purely by chance, on a cold, wet day in Dorset, while my daughter who has cancer watches Food Network. Anxiety disorder, panic attacks, fearful, insomniac, social anxiety . . . you name it, I have it . . . as well as my nephew committing suicide last week! I now feel I've found a little haven of peace amidst the storms of my life. I have no words with which to thank you for something I feel I have been searching for for most of my life. All I long for is a little rest amidst the turmoil, hope in a hopeless situation, calm in the middle of the storm and a place where I can just "be". And then I found you and your videos and "thank you" is too small, but I have no words of eloquence or of deep gratitude that are big enough except . . . "THANK YOU!" Bless you.

Such lovely and kind words. Thank you so much Heidi. I'm actually an Assuie living in England. So much sadness and anxiety in my life and then I find these beautiful videos. And I've been listening to them all as the tears flow because whoever records these obviously has a great love and care for humanity. His voice is calming, peaceful and it's so much better than anything I have found in such a long time. I hope this man realises just how good, how helpful, how encouraging he is. May you also find here what I have found. Blessings to you Heidi.

I am stuck in this cycle. I meditate and calm then I see posts about the latest news or latest policies being passed in government. Human rights and freedoms being stripped away, and I go back into a deep dark hole. I don’t believe my thoughts are irrational - I believe they are totally plausible and I can’t just push them aside. I’m worried constantly and it’s exhausting 😭

Ugh, I completely relate. One thing that helps me is to write down those things, then write what I can do about them. Sometimes I find a small thing that I can do, or the answer might be that there is nothing I can do. This helps me to realize that no level of anxiety is helping the situation. It is wonderful to be empathetic, but useless to carry all of that pain within us. It is a very difficult balance!

just a side note : AVOID sentences where negative meaning is present in syntax. like " do you have any aches" - doesnt matter if its a question, the brain understand only "have" and "aches" - etc ..
