Reiki 3 versus Reiki Master, what is the difference?

Why do we split out Reiki Master training into 2 parts? Reiki 3 teaches the heart attunement and attunes you to the Masters' symbol. Reiki Teacher training then prepares you to teach Reiki in depth and teaches you the remaining attunements to allow you to permanently attune someone to Reiki. But why do we split it out in the first place? Why is it important to take so long to become a Reiki Master teacher?

My first teacher took the longest to teach me. And after that getting more than an hour out of someone in this area is un-heard of. (yes, terrible and pricey ) When i found a teacher for master we did like 10 hours a day for a week. (actually that was reiki 3 and Master ) That was crazy too. After that I had people wanting me to teach people all levels in a weekend of a few hours to mulitple students. I would refuse. They would offer more money, i would refuse. I would teach someone one on one properly- with respect for free before i would shuffle people through. For those that can't afford a class - see if you can find a teacher that will teach you if you in turn help them teach other students; by just being the body, cooking food ; or actually part teacher. That's what i did after I really liked it.
