    Thank you so much for your video!!! I am just starting my Reiki practice and I am on the same page of just explaining it just from Reiki aspect (I still use all the tools I just don’t introduce them to the main stream of people because like you said it can turn others away!!). Again thank you!!

      @@RootsofLifeWow! What an amazing video. I am a practitioner and like you I also like and use the other more “Gu gu” tools but definitely makes more sense to keep Reiki organic and only use them if we know that the person is already into Crystals, sage and other tools. Also this video will help me a lot in explaining what Reiki is in a simple way!

      Nothing is certain. We are limited by our senses. Who kmows, maybe we have senses that are not known to our consciousness. They will not be known to science either to be proven.

    Thank you for this explanation. My niece is a Reiki master and has worked on me quite a bit over the years. It really helped me when I had cancer and having bad effects from the chemo, immunotherapy and steroids. I'm now in remission (for a year and a half) and I feel Reiki helped with that also.

      Yeah I'm not a reiki master and me waving my hands around my mom also cured her and made her feel amazing. Which means reiki is bs. Its monetizing something which everyone has acsess to. Its a bullshit way to restrict the natural healing powers people have by monetizing and gatekeeping and making it into some special magic thing you have to pay for to be special when it's not that at all. Even my cat can do reiki.

    My Geandmaster in martial arts is also considered a healer in Reiki. We sat down once and he told me that long ago Martial Artist were not called Martial artist, They were Scholars, Cooks, Doctors and Protectors. They dedicated themselves outside of their own selfish desires and became selfless and caring of others.
    That really set a spark in my heart and when I asked about Reiki he said "I am not a Healer, I just help them heal properly."

Now 25 years later, I've relocated to a different geometrical place where there may be more resistance. I'm now retired from my job and can now put more time and practice into what I feel is my truer purpose, which is healing. I’ve been trying for years to really understand reiki but your explanation has made the most sense. It sounds almost like a mindfulness meditation that is led one of one by another person. Reinforcing attention to certain areas through physical or near physical touch. Thank you!

    • @RootsofLife
      @RootsofLife  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you for the comment - indeed at some point Reiki can be viewed as similar to a mindfulness meditation - I think the main difference though is within Usui Reiki Ryoho the final aim would be to work towards a mind and body that is silent, so perhaps one step beyond mindfulness. However, this is difficult to achieve, so keeping a practice that reinforces attention to one area of the body is already such a beneficial practice

    🙏 thnx for your explanation ☺️ About twelve years back I participated in Reiki, received a first attunement, but left the Reiki path, when I got in touch with Quantum Touch, another healing modality. Really love your explanation at the end about not promoting the use of what some people would call 'all that woo woo stuff'.
    I love my journey, initially coming from a very clinical backrgound and evolving my work into the spiritual space. I've found people generally really trust what I say (even if they dont yet understand it) because they can see im a perfectly logical, intelligent person who seems to get happier and more successful as time goes by. They're willing to give my suggestions a go and slowly start to experience it for themselves. It's amazing to watch 🤩

    Back in 2013 i was in a mexican prison. One day a blond and handsome dude came to my table and said he wanted to perform a reiki technique on me. He put my left hand between both of his hands without touching. When he started moving his hands I started feeling some kind of magnetism. He said he cleaned my chakras or something like that. I'm atheist and don't believe in any kind of "magic". that shit was weird. I still don't know what that was.

      Sounds like you were able to feel the natural energy within all things? If you place your hands in front of your heart, as if you were holding a grapefruit or something similar in size, then see if you can't feel it between your hands as well. It will come

    • @Zanivox72
      @Zanivox72 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Likely just you feeling the airflow and radiating warmth from his hands as well as him likely also touching hairs on your hand either intentionally or unintentionally. People also tend to be more open to suggestion if a person is very confident, which may have given you a placebo reaction. There are many other explanations, but without seeing the situation myself, those are the best I can come up with.

    • @jaredt.murphy8257
      @jaredt.murphy8257 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Perhaps, being in prison, you were completely deprived of any touch. I don't picture prison as a place where people give hugs. "The Halo effect" Is why we psychologically are much more likely to believe and trust someone who is good looking. It's why cults are often "cults of personality". Hypnotists can take advantage of trust and suggestion to quickly and easily convince and manipulate a person of absurd things. Reiki can not be disproved for the same reason most things can't, because there is no way to prove it. Unfalsafiable. People in vulnerable psychological states are much, much more likely to embrace and believe such unfalsifiable claims.
      Humans need touch. Humans need connection and to feel safe and loved, to have hope. We need it so much that our minds can literally heal us (placebo) with just an idea. But little more.

    As an intuitive healer and RMT, I have to concur. Everything you have said here is on point. I dress like a normal person and hold sessions in a very basic basic setting. Occasionally I will add a crystal if called for but beyond that I simply use soothing music, dim lightand take the client. Do a peaceful relaxing place so that they can receive what it is that they need.. Thank you for sharing.
    The general public need more awareness so that their fears can be Set aside.
    And they can open to alternative ways of healing their own bodies.

      Crystals have been proved not to work in scientific experiments.It's all in the mind.50 people were given real crystals and 50 were given glass fake crystals.They were all told to expect various sensations such as heat and tingling when holding the crystals.Just as many reported sensations from the glass crystals as were reported from those holding the real crystals.There is no power in a crystal.

    I so agree with what you are saying about the other modalities like the new age stuff. I like to use reiki on horses because they are open to it if they need it. They are very responsive and release. I have had horses come to me in a field if they need it. I don’t get heat as much but I get a circling energy in the palm of my hands.

I have felt energy and used it in various ways since I was a kid having to figure it out on my own as more became available to me. The simplest way to understand reiki, is to look at its synonyms. Every time you read the word “Reiki,” replace it with the word, love. That’s something we all understand. Love is universal the purest form of light. We all have it in our heart.

  • @TheLilBolivian
    @TheLilBolivian 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    I’m learning to understand and loved your first example. My take away is that reiki is a style of healing that allows you to freely find awareness. Navigating family emotional trauma and also as a runner who occasionally falls and gets hurt the “instincts” you first mentioned is a part of what helps me through some of it. On the other end, I’ve learned to know the kinds of pain or mental discomfort that i can push through. Maybe the skepticism with reiki is that most people especially in western culture have more experience with the style of healing by movement or action. Healing that isn’t as focused on finding awareness. I interpret reiki being on the complete opposite end because i see it as more of a kind of meditation. Which doesn’t seem like being popular yet in a fast paced western culture

    • @RootsofLife
      @RootsofLife  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Freely finding awareness - I think that's a perfect way to put it! If we allow that awareness to arise freely then we are not forcing with the mind, but more towards surrendering the mind and body - much as we do when we sleep - and this, I think, helps us understand how Reiki helps us to heal.
      Thanks for the comment!

    Hey thanks brother. I’m a reiki master teacher too, and similar to you I do/use all the other things in a free way.
    How would you explain symbols and attunements to people though? To the skeptics I mean.
    In the sense, when they ask “what determines the next level and why do we need levels and so on?”

    • @RootsofLife
      @RootsofLife  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      &
      th-cam.com/video/poFND4DDju8/w-d-xo.html
      And to your question on the levels and when one may be ready. One is ready when they feel ready to progress. Usui Reiki Ryoho is not simply a healing modality, rather it is a modality that allows us to turn further into the self. That is really what it is about. In brief, the levels of Usui Reiki Ryoho can be viewed as progressive steps deeper into the self. So when one is ready to venture deeper into the self one may consider taking the next step with their understanding of the practice.
      I hope that helps!

    I had surgery today and immediately felt like I needed to seek out a reiki session. I think emotional wounds were split open and ache in a way that physical wounds can't be managed. I *believe* that I'll feel so much more grounded and lighter at the same time! 😊

    This man is 100% right from having a chinese mother and my father from irish descent and watching my mother growing up doing tai chi it was normal for me but my American friends that came over would tease me and my mom which didn’t end up well between us and they started this rumour in school they didn’t understand which made me feel like they hated me and started calling me racial names then i started turning on my chinese roots i hated and did not want to admit anything i was ashamed now im all grown i try to make up all the hardship i have n brought into my moms life and that side of the family cone to think of it no matter what I did my Asian side never gave up on me they were always there showing unconditional love. They just waited until I was ready for my Irish side. Let’s just leave it as that abandoned me. now i’m an adult i’m proud that i can speak and understand cantonese and i appreciate my asian side for teaching and showing me what love does and will do if you truly love someone or thing. as for my american side whom only taught me to be ashamed of my mother background no more influence on me i know better now. makes me happy to see Americans learning annoying about Reiki about energy flow love it good feeling in my inside

    Thank you for your explanation. QUESTIONS: How is Reiki different from a hands-on session with a chiropractor or a masseur/masseuse? How does Reiki music reflect your explanation? As you may know, in Thailand the art of massage is also a spiritual practice carried on for centuries by blind monks in temples. Of course, in today's Thai massage shops it is often practiced for commercial purposes rather than as a spiritual practice, but the monks continue to practice it in certain temples. For example, at Wat Pho in Bangkok you can have a massage by a monk in the massage pavilion. It will likely be the best massage of your life.

      I think the main difference may be found in the nature of the practice of Reiki vs. the modalities you've noted. In Reiki, ideally, the aim is to be neutral in the mind and body - beyond even the awareness of who you may be working on. I'd think this is a similar mentality to the monks in Bangkok - more of a meditative practice as opposed to a directional one. Thanks for the comment!

    I appreciate that comment about neutrality. I’m someone who was initiated by a reiki master years ago but have always been super skeptical until I tried it on myself just for giggles. When my mind is clear which is rare, my hands generate heat with intention

    • @RootsofLife

      It's rare for all of us to have a quiet mind - but not impossible! I think the sensation of the heat in the hands actually helps us to progress further towards a more quiet mind as it is, in some ways, a distraction from the mind itself.

      Cosmic moo2817 thank for adding a bit of sense in the comment section of a Reiki video... Reiki claims are made up without evidence. When questioned the absurdity is quickly revealed . Even if you could remove an appendix by ritual hand motions you would not know if the hands , some deity or as Reiki claims "the healing energy of the universe"was responsible. Yet they claim with with certainty it is the universe . As for healing one would imagine the regularly "healed" would live longer .
      We would notice a population of 95 year old Reiki recipients . Instead the founder died of a respiratory infection at a normal age. As for healing energy coming from the " universe" if it is going to come in an hour session it either moves faster than light, knows the future and gets an early start or comes from inside the solar system.

    Thanks for describing Reiki in common terms. Not sure what you meant by "Holding space for the client"? 6:50. Based on your description, shouldn't any person be able to "Lay hands" on themselves and bring their intention to the area of concern, (or without any hand involvement just using intention) and get similar or better results since I would assume each individual's mind/body connections would be naturally in tune with themselves? Thanks. I practice Chi-Kung and trying to understand the parallels.

    • @RootsofLife
      @RootsofLife  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you for the comment I appreciate it. To what I'm meaning here in regards to holding space for the client - is to maintain a neutral position within the Reiki session so that the client may be able to let go a bit further into their own healing. We can't do that if one is assisting from an attached mind or a mind that is focused on the outcome or experience (from the practitioner perspective). Absolutely we can all heal ourselves, and we've been doing and practicing hands on healing instincitively always, but I'm not sure that we can get better results always if we go it alone. Often people are afraid of their own healing journey, and thus the sensation of neutral and caring touch will help facilitate this journey.
      the practice of Reiki is very much a martial art, as opposed to just a healing modality, in that the individual is working to cultivate internal stillness...so from this, the deeper the practice then, hopefully, the more this route to stillness is cultivated and, from there, then the individual has a more neutral understanding of the energy within all things. This, then, reflects on the session for the client.

    • @madogblue
      @madogblue 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @RootsofLife I see, that makes sense. Thanks for explaining further.As part of my QiGong training, we are working to awaken the "energy body" and become more sensitive to internal sensations. Just FYI: I would not consider Reiki or Qigong a martial art, which is generally defined as a practice of self-defense or competition sport fighting.

    This might sound like a stupid question. I eat a raw plant based diet. I feel energy from the freshly harvested plants. A friend who started pranic healing last year is on her first week of a carnivore diet which got me thinking; can the food we eat affect the flow of ki ? I eat mostly raw and preparing my food arugula, avocado, tomatoes etc it just feels so fresh and alive, how does food affect us as Reiki practitioners. 🙏

    • @RootsofLife
      @RootsofLife  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello and thank you for the question - not a silly one at all! I spent some time fully raw vegan, more time fully vegan, and further still more time fully veggie and I believe there is clearly an impact from the food we eat - however, perhaps my take on this is a bit different. For me, it was clear that a raw diet gave me more "energy" but it wasn't balanced. All food gives energy to the body of course, and I was feeling that the more raw and plant based foods I ate the the energy would be felt in a more mental or "higher" way. And what I noticed when I went back to eating meat and heavier foods was that the energy would be more based or dense, so it would help to keep me more "grounded". I'm using general terms here that some may not appreciate and that is fine, and please note this is just an account of my own experience, however I did find that after many decades of plant based living that I found it refreshing and beneficial to my practice to incorporate heavier foods back into my diet. All is a balance in the end and indeed that balance can be obtained in a raw diet if one were to eat more nuts and fats, for example and IMO. I hope that helps!

    I don't know how badly you've sprained your ankle but when I did really badly, I wasn't breathing slowly(either holding my breath and groaning or breathing really quickly), my heart was pounding(I could feel it in the swelling in my ankle), and I didn't want to touch it. I also have yet to see someone actually touch the broken part of the bone they just broke, maybe near it but not on it. So that right there does make it actually arguable. Along with the fact that your body goes through physiological changes (hormone release, etc.) that take place when you're in a deep sleep state. You also still heal while you're awake, healing doesn't stop after you sleep. Ultimately, the skepticism comes from the fact that the "energy" that you're talking about and manipulating isn't objectively detectable or quantifiable. I'm fine with Reiki being something that heals through the fact that, as humans, we like a caring touch and it's relaxing, also receiving personal attention from another is calming and soothing. If it was just that, like a different kind of "massage", it would have utility, no additional supernatural explanation needed.

    • @LMD2915
      @LMD2915 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      There is absolutely nothing supernatural about the movement of energy, how do you think your phone works?? And just because you don’t touch your owies, you assume that other people don’t either? First thing I have done all my life is to lay my hands on an injury and rub. If it’s actually bleeding, I staunch the flow by pressing it hard. If my head hurts, I lay my fingers on my temple and massage. Maybe you don’t touch your injuries, but most people do.

    • @RootsofLife
      @RootsofLife  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for the comment - so in the video you may recall that I was noting that I'm not referring to serious trauma (such as you've described) but more minor sprains or traumas that don't require medical attention. And further, yes of course we continue to heal when we are awake - it's simply that when we sleep we are able to heal much more effectively. I fully agree that there is a lot of language in the Reiki world that is off putting, and for good reason - and I wish the world of Reiki would do more to remove such supernatural language from the practice. This is a point that I'm consistently making across my channel in my other videos.
      I hope this helps clarify and thanks for the comment!

    • @MelanieButera
      @MelanieButera 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Well, no amount of “energy” is going to fix a broken bone without medical attention.
      Maybe a better phrase here would be “twist your ankle” as that typically refers to a more mild form of a sprain or you can twist it and cause pain without actually spraining the joint. 🤷🏻‍♀️
      The whole point of the initial comparison was to point out that we naturally will grab an area in mild-moderate pain and regulate breathing until the pain starts to subside. Think, when you wrack your funny bone, get some form of cramp, have a headache, or tension in the body. Chances are you may start to rub that area of the body even subconsciously.
      I feel like western practitioners mostly use reiki as a “spiritual realignment” and to bring up “trapped” emotions that may be contributing to conditions such as anxiety and depression.
      As far as that supernatural comment goes… keep in mind that science is limited by the technology that we have and the research we put into the subject. Western medicine doesn’t focus on holistic approaches like this so research for it is not in abundance. Also just because we don’t have a detectable or quantitative way to measure something in this present moment does not mean that we will have one in the future, but again; that would require someone willing to put in the research to advance the technology needed for that problem. A good supernatural example of this would be the existence of spirts or other dimensions. We don’t have enough evidence to say that these things don’t definitively exist so any observations surrounding that subjects is left as unexplained phenomena.

    I love the examples used. But if we all naturally place our hands on areas that we have hurt etc. Why do we need an attunement?

    • @RootsofLife
      @RootsofLife  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So this is a big question and it is actually one of the bases of traditional Usui Reiki Ryoho. The attunement process is often discussed as something that can be transmitted or given from the teacher to the student - this is the way it is almost always talked about in the western approaches to Reiki. However, this approach goes against the precepts of Usui Reiki Ryoho as well as the understanding that Reiki is the energy of all things. So if this is the case, then why is there the attunement process? We are working to quiet our own minds, we have to remember the aspects of the practice: 1. daily recitation of the precepts 2. self treatment 3. attunement (reiju). This helps us to see the focus is not about healing or about giving to others, but rather, it is about recognizing all attachments come from the mind, and so we need to constantly improve the quality of our minds. This is now hinting towards the nature of the attunement.
      I hope that helps and thank you for the comment!

    • @RootsofLife
      @RootsofLife  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Thank you for the comment I appreciate it. The difficult thing with proving something is the subjectivity of the data used or the approach taken in gaining the information needed for a proof. This is made even more difficult in regards to something intangible and experencial such as Reiki. There are a good number of papers published within the NCBI that talk about the efficacy of Reiki as a practice...some are well powered and done correctly, some could have been more rigirous, and a few are not worth reading.
      If you do a search for "Reiki Is Better Than Placebo and Has Broad Potential as a Complementary Health Therapy" you'll find a good paper that sums up a lot of the data.
      At the end of the day, these are all subjective experiences still, so for further "proof" I would say the most important approach here is how does it make the individual feel? How is it helping them along? For me Reiki has helped me without a doubt. Some may say that's the placebo effect, if so and there is still positive gains then that's fine. One can further liken Reiki to the efficacy of our own healing when we sleep. To me this is a better summation of Reiki beyond simply just the placebo effect. When we sleep we get out of the way of the self and let the body do what it does naturally...much the same in a Reiki session.

With practice, sensitivity to these feelings (heat, etc) may increase...but this is not an indication by any means of depth of practice. If there is any measure to stay focused on in regards to your practice, I would encourage you to keep working towards an ever quieter mind. I hope that helps!

    Sorry this doesn’t help me understand Sprained my ankle bad a couple of times and last thing a did was hold it as it’s too tender to hold I elevated it , did anything to not have it move and but ice on it . Any heat comes from your body sending blood to it to help it heal not an energy ?

      @RootsofLife  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for your comment - the example that I'm giving regarding the sprained ankle, as noted in the video, would be for minor/moderate injuries. With more severe injuries of course you may need prompt care. What I'm referring to is our natural instinct to hold wounds or areas of trauma..or conversely, to hold areas of focus on the body. With the practice of Reiki the hands can become much hotter than baseline body temp which is what I'm referring to for the heat.
      I hope that helps!

      Perhaps, but the practice will help us override the pain and witness it, as opposed to reacting to it, IMO. Thank you for the comment!

    Appreciating the video as a practitioner.. how heal8ng w9rks bit I feel need to speak my truth about the crystals or sage comments. No I d9nt agree that people would be turned away, nor that is "new" age.. crystals are also provide neutrality?? Little confused as to why these other modalities are being measured as decimating the purity of a reiki session w an assumpti9n of how they are rcvd.. taint8ng the reiki???

      Thank you for the comment and I'm grateful that you enjoyed the video. I think the point that I'm trying to make here is that incorporating these things into the Reiki discussion may be off putting to a wider audience who may already be viewing Reiki with some skepticism. As I state in the video, I have nothing against all of these and I incorporate them all the time in my personal practice. I think that keeping the conversation around Reiki as simple and neutral as possible is a way to approach a wider audience, which is what I'm trying to convey in this video.
      I hope that helps and thank you for the comment!

    You are a good speaker, good cadence and tone. You’d be great by eliminating ‘right’ and ‘ok’ at the end of many sentences. Use the ‘um counter’ technique used at Toastmaster meetings. Otherwise, great explanation!

    I am quite good at doing energy work. But I am garbage at being able to explain it to people and why it could benefit them. Which is nit ideal when I am trying to start an energy work bussiness.
    I can do reiki but I am not restricting myself to it.

      Yes we need to work on ourselves only - work towards a still and quiet mind. This is the path inward and the path that allows healing.

    i’m an atheist who’s part of the satanic temple but i just adore reiki, it feels so nice. even if you don’t believe it, it doesn’t mean it’s not real. we can’t be so certain about one specific thing, it’s nice to have an open mindset and accept new things.

    And what have you to say about the extremely common occurrence of severe physical illness which is not founded in belief but is founded in physiological poisoning? I'm open-minded enough to consider the possibility of a direct link between belief systems in the brain and the nervous system as it relates to autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis or lupus. Beyond conditions which are rooted in our nervous system and our immune response, I have not seen anything to support the notion that our body is able to recover from poisonings without the help of an external antidote and I'm not talking about an energy healer as an antidote. I'm talking about a specific chemical compound is able to be metabolized by the body in a way that defeats or neutralizes and helps eliminate a toxin which is in the process of killing a person. My big beef here is that desperate people place faith in a fallacy and they allow a delusion to form and they entrust their life in that delusion which is supported by the practitioners of the fallacy. And then they die. And then the Reiki Masters go to the bank and make another deposit.

      Thank you for the comments. Reiki is a practice that helps one to cultivate a peaceful internal (mind and body) state. From this state, much as it is when we sleep, the body is able to heal as there are, ideally, notable decreases in stress, inflammation (the cause of most diseases), respiration, oxidation, parasympathetic activation, etc.
      Of course when there are major traumas then one would need external help as Reiki is not a substitute for proper medical care.

      @@Lac4ever@lukecross1101 Apologies, I thought your initial comment was meant to be more of a joke.
      A joule is the SI unit for energy and measures all forms of energy (work, heat).
      I would guess what you are getting at is the nature of the heat that one may feel during a Reiki session or similar practice?
      This is a peculiar experience with such practices as the practitioner is often able to notice a marked and easily measurable increase in the temperature in the palms. As far as I know, it is not possible to raise the surface temperature of any other area of your body at will as it is on the palms during such practice.

    • @Lac4ever
      @Lac4ever 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @RootsofLife and if reiki worked you could get a result and should know the joule.

    Ok so this video is helpful. But to say you can't argue with? The reason we grab the injury site (in this case the twisted ankle) is firstly to protect it. And also to apply pressure which can help reduce pain depending on the injury etc.
    As for pregnant mothers touching their baby bumps there are literally hundreds of reasons why they do that. For example to relief the weight their carrying. To self sooth. To connect with the baby/fetus.
    These arguements seem very half baked to me. Which is disappointing. I want to understand, but the more I hear the more disbelieving I get. 😭

    • @RootsofLife
      @RootsofLife  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for your comment I appreciate it. Perhaps I can add a bit to the video in that Reiki is something akin to a practice that facilitates a focused awareness. So in the example of a twisted ankle - we would benefit from focused awareness in that we would, ideally, be able to mitigate the pain response, or perhaps other stressors that may be accompany the trauma. From here, the body is able to heal more efficiently as we would be working our way back to the parasympathetic state. Perhaps one can see the hand placements as to protect the ankle or apply pressure, I don't know. I would think that, post sprain, one is already sitting down or not putting weight on it so it is likely removed from any further danger, and also I don't know if we would want to apply pressure, but perhaps.
      As for the pregnancy example, I agree, there can be hundreds of reasons why, but I think it still goes back to the idea of focused awareness. Regardless of the impetus, focalized awareness is likely still the aim here.
      The practice of Reiki is not about healing, rather, it is about a state of being called anshin ritsumei - or to live peacefully in both mind and body. We do this by calming down all the added stressors and external stimuli via focused awareness and, hopefully, with depth of practice, even the last attachment can be let go of so we can just be neutral.
      I hope that helps and thank you for the comment.

    Im also a reiki master healer level 3a next month I'll be at level 3b reiki master teacher 🙌 with a lineage that I'm very proud of im and American but my teacher is from Bangladesh and he traveled from Bangladesh to India to seek out one of the best teachers in India she was somewhat of a celebrity in a sense and my teacher shahed a dude searched for this lady who he heard was retiring from teaching reiki so he went to India to find her she only accepted 10 thousand US dollars because she was the best my teacher told me,so I talk to my teacher almost every day for the past 2 years via Facebook it took me about a year and a half to get to level 3a....I find it mind blowing that here in America that there is so many reiki healers that get the master symbol in 3 days 😂😂😅😅 and it's kind of sad to know that we have so many reiki healers here in America that I've met personally that really doesn't know a quarter of what I've learned, but what can you expect from someone who learned only 3 days of teaching and they cut corners and take people's money and don't really know very much...my point is that reiki has become so waterd down and generic here in the west and it makes us educated reiki healers look bad because these fly by night reiki healers are making us reiki healers who have a much better understanding on what and how reiki works, but im so glad you are posting this video to enlighten people on what reiki healers do and what were about, people ask me what is reiki and where did it start and when I mention anything other than Christianity they are so close minded that they think it's witchcraft or somethin' lol😂 luckily the people I've healed and sent reiki to could tell a difference with just one 1 hour sometimes even just 30 minutes can tell a difference in there mental and physical health!!!!!!!
