How to install linux apps on chromebook

Get full power of Linux Apps on your Chromebook by following through my installation tutorial. Here commands used in the video;
Using apt
sudo apt-get install vlc
#Using flatpaks
Visit flatpak.org/ and flathub.org
//install flatpak first using
$ sudo apt install flatpak
// Add the Flathub repository
$ flatpak --user remote-add --if-not-exists flathub flathub.org/repo/flathub.flat...
//Install GIMP flatpak
$ flatpak install flathub org.gimp.GIMP
//run app
$ flatpak run org.gimp.GIMP
//fixing error trying to run flatpak

Using snaps
Checkout snapcraft.io/
//install snap
$ sudo apt install -y libsquashfuse0 squashfuse fuse snapd
//install sublime text snap app
$ sudo snap install sublime-text --classic

My teacher told me to use Linux on my Chromebook so I installed it but then I don't know how to install LF Aligner or OmegaT on my computer using Linux. Do you think what would I need to do ? If you've downloaded and installed it, search for the app from the app launcher. Click on the search button and type the name of the installed app. It should open normally.

AutoCAD doesn't support Linux. Try using Blender instead.

You can nolonger officially install MS Word on Chromebooks. Before you could do that via the Google Play store. But that has since been discontinued.
To access Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and OneDrive, Open the browser on your Chromebook and go to www.office.com.
