    Thanks for explaining this in such an easy to understand manner. Not many TH-cam tutorials deliver what they promise in the Title. I've subscribed to your channel and look forward to watching and learning more from you!

    This suddenly opens up Chromebooks, making them a lot more feasible. However, I fear it'll still remain a niche product. Linux is still popular among enthusiasts and geeks.

      Yeah, it's a shame that Linux isn't more popular. Linux distros are like a herd of cats, fragmented into so many distributions that all think they are the best, which turns off the average consumer. Also, being open source, there's no giant corporation with billions of dollars to spend on marketing to brainwash the public like MS/Apple.

    The storage on Chromebook is rather limiting. You can only do so much with a few GBs.

    So I have a samsung chromebook which only comes with 16GB for storage. I have around 9GB left and I can see in your videos that is asking you 10GB (or letting you know that is what's recommended), nonetheless I select 6GB. It starts with the installation but then it throws an error, it says that an error occurred due to a lack of storage, I don't get it.

      It depends on the Linux container you're installing. Some are bigger than others. I installed penguin, the default Linux container which was able to fit the 6GB. If it still fails, try to free up as much space as possible.

      @@DignitedTV thanks for responding. That is literally the maximum I can free up.

      @@ricardoruiz3248If you don't mind dropping ChromeOS for Linux, there's a Linux distro called GaliumOS: "A fresh installation of GalliumOS 2.1 requires 2.9GB". I haven't tried it yet.

      Check if your Chromebook is supported. Older Chromebooks made before 2018 aren't supported.

      Hey, not sure which menu you're referring to. You can identify it using a time code of the video so I can watch and see.

    How about itunes

    • @DignitedTV
      @DignitedTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can't easily install iTunes on Chromebook. If you really want to, you'll to install windows emulators such as parallel or code weavers which allow you to install windows apps on Chromebook
