the best airline in the world was grounded by a bunch of irresponsible bank managers. Swiss probably is as good as Swissair but is owned by Lufthansa. BS.
About 60% of the Swiss population speak Swiss German, a lot speak regular German aswell. About 20% speak French as their native tounge. And the rest speaks Italian and a tiny part Romansh.

Retired jets are mostly dumped into deserts, in Arizona for exemple (IIRC)
The MD-11s are with FedEx and UPS, so far I only know of HB-IWC being scrapped by Martinair. Not sure about the other ones.
