- Marka Bodine, a former Tomball ISD teacher, will only serve 60 days in prison and 10 years probation after having sexually assaulting a student for years.
If this was a Man to a 13yr girl, he would have gotten 60 Years in jail , not 60 Days. With time served sitting in jail for trial etc ...she be out in a week.

Either everyone who does this crime should get 20-40 years like you're supposed to, or everyone should only have to serve 60 days since she only spent 60 days, which means every male sex offender who has spent more than 60 days should all be released instantly.
Clearly we would rather her go to prison for life than the other way around. But if not then it's imperative to release all male offenders of the same crime if they've served 60 or more days already.

So was he trying to get things going again with her by doing this and the judge saw that and saw her actions as concern for him despite the fact the affair would be exposed and she would be in a heap of trouble . Just a theory but with the outcry about the sentence the judge is bound to have to go public why he came to his decision if that's allowed by American law.
