Some people were shocked when I told them I didn’t like the hell cat or sig p365. I love my Ruger max9 tho and I have excellent aim with it love that thing
I might mention to those that are constantly hearing how snappy it is, that I noticed that the majority of these people have large hands. The Max-9 fits my small hands perfectly, thus allowing me to have the perfect grip to control the recoil. It doesn't feel snappy to me at all and can shoot it all day. So if you have small hands don't let the word "snappy" detour you from buying it. Do like I did and test fire these at the range. I tested the Max-9, Hellcat, Hellcat pro, P365, Shield plus, and one other that I can't remember. Ended up buying the Shield Plus and the Max-9. In Calif, they come with the thumb safety, so I carry my Max-9 cocked and locked like a 1911.
I like how it shoots, my one issue with it was when drawing from a holster, the trigger safety would impede my pressing of the trigger. I switched it out to the Mcarbo trigger and now it performs flawlessly!
Wife has small hands and although she can kind of handle a full size pistol, she has to make a lot of adjustments to shoot it. She looked at the Hellcat Springfield, the Sig p365, and the Ruger Max 9 finally choosing the Ruger. So here I am researching everything I can about the Ruger Max 9. Thank you for your insights and opinions.

Yeah man, people always forget about the little guys and sometimes they always perform
Same, my small hands fit it perfectly and feels and shoots better than the Hellcat and P365.

Just got for 335. Definitely need finger extension. Have to wait 10 days to try it out but felt pretty good in the hand for being so small.

Oh wow good to know. Gonna have to look into that trigger.
I got the Galloway Precision trigger and an mcarbo trigger spring kit. I polished some stuff and put a holosun 507k green on it. It's hella sweet now.

Check out the Shield Plus
The benefit of the safety is when you pocket carry. I have the old lc9 I pocket carry around the house with the safety on.
You can get a factory optic cut slide from Ruger for 150. Yes, even in Cali.
Can you do a review of the FMK G2? Thank you.
We'll check it out
If it is for Calufornia then the maximum magazine capacity is probably 1 1/2 rounds.
