I really enjoy these types of comparison videos and you have a nice collection... I also have many of the guns you show.. A couple months ago I bought a Ruger Max 9, Smith & Wesson Shield Plus, Taurus GX4, and Glock 26... I like them all very much... I think the Ruger is a great gun but did not like the factory trigger because of its long travel and how it curved so far forward so I installed a Galloway Precision flat face short stroke trigger which is a major improvement.
Thank goodness for you comparing all them at once cause you tend to forget about them other ones so it’s awesome to be able to really see them against each other..
If you really want to like the Ruger Max 9 more put in a Galloway precision short stroke trigger, makes the Max 9 a totally different firearm. I’ve got 700 rounds through my Max 9, 250 after the trigger upgrade.
I have the 365XL, the GX4, and the LCP Max. I like the triggers in that order. The LCP Max stock trigger is good enough that I don't feel the burn to upgrade it.
I don’t think this applies with polymer striker fired guns, but on a 1911, a looser slide fit generally means it will be more reliable when it gets dirt, debris, and gun powder residue in it. The tighter 1911s tend to choke up quicker.
Iv been a ruger fanboy for a while, the max 9 was exactly what i wanted in a conceal carry. Slapped a holosun red dot and now it’s my favorite carry. Iv got the sr9c, a glock 45 (department issued ) , a Taurus revolver , and a North American arms revolver. So safe to say iv got every catogory haha
I was shooting for an LCP Max to go with my Max-9 but as I was checking out my options I came across a Security-9 at a price I could not pass up. I still plan to get the LCP Max but it will just have to wait a little 😂. Thanks for the video and enjoy your evening.
Thank you. I'm looking for my first conceal carry firearm and these comparison videos are great as I've been looking between Glock 42, 43, p365 Max 9 , & LCP Max
Stay away from the p365 and piss on a Glock the max 9 an lcp max is great ec9 an regular LCP are good love my EC9 other then the trigger but put many many rounds through them all an never had a problem ruger makes very good reliable budget guns
Mines doesn't ratter when I shake it. Have a loose fitting guide rod? What I don't like ? Takedown pin is too easy to lose in the field . Had to buy extra pins and keep them in my range bag. Biggest issues with the Ruger Max 9? Block lifter and spring are known to break. This is a known problem to Ruger and they haven't found a permanent solution to fix it.
Any chance you come to the United States don't go to California if you want freedom, I'm in Cal now but moving to Texas, California is becoming a dictatorship of weirdos I'm so disappointed, it was a beautiful place to live.... it's over
I shot the Max-9 about a month ago and the trigger was a deal-breaker for me. I had trouble getting it to engage in order to fire on more than one try. It sucks, because I'm a huge fan of the Security pistols and the LCP Max, but the trigger is awful. If Ruger decides to make an XL version of the Max-9, they should make it hammer-fired. The triggers on Ruger's striker-fired pistols is truly awful.
Good video, a couple solid weapons by Ruger, I just wish they’d take the next logical step for summer concealment and make a .32 caliber version, the LCP32 Max.
Thank you for the great comparison of so many different pistols. The last comparison is the one I was waiting for...the CSX. Question: I want the CSX and would like your honest opinion. They both are great, but is the CSX worth the extra money?
I have a 380 lcp currently & am now debating between a ec9s & a max 9. About a $90 difference but I feel like you get a lot w the max 9. Just like that the ec9s is a little smaller.
I think the Max 9 is the best value in its category. I've been thinking about getting a Shield Plus, but in order to get all the features the Max 9 has, I'd have to spend $550-$600 on the Performance Center model, so I keep coming back to the Max 9. I also have a Security 9, and while I wouldn't say I'm a "Ruger fanboy", I do have just a little bit of a bias. 🙂
I get to pick mine up on the 25th and I can't wait to fire it. I have a Gen 3 Glock 19 and I love it but depending on what I'm wearing it's not always easy to conceal and I wanted a thin framed and lightweight pistol that I can carry when I'm wearing shorts and a t-shirt and not have it print. I may add the Galloway Precision trigger and possibly a red dot but I want to run it stock first and see how I like it.
My little cuz had a Security 9 compact never had a problem with Ruger also I hear the max 9 has a metal trigger on it, is that true? The security 9 compact cuz has dont
Show off! lol 😂 jk jk beautiful steel 😍 I just got my first pistol. Max 9 and I love the way it feels even though I wear size XL gloves I think it’s great for Carry Conceal
Love this channel. Enjoy all the comparisons. Personally I do not care for the max 9. Bad finish, the slide rattles and the barrel is kinda light weight. I think the SR9c was amazing.
Finish- Terrible Trigger- Terrible Mag Capacity- Ok ish Having no light rail and very limited aftermarket support (Galloway precision) it’s just hard to choose it over more established offerings. I swapped in the Galloway trigger and guide rod/recoil spring on mine and it made it much better to shoot. Had the slide cerekoted to actually be durable. Ruger needs to get back to the drawing board and start competing
CSX is a better shooter ive shot both at the range and went with the CSX finish is better shoot ability is better Max 9 is nice but even in the budget world it has good competition
You don't have to explain .you are doing an excellent job showing to us all experience.
Thank you

I did that too, but I also did the mcarbo trigger spring kit, new factory optic slide and holosun 507k x2. I like it.
Thank goodness for you comparing all them at once cause you tend to forget about them other ones so it’s awesome to be able to really see them against each other..

I think it does apply. Tighter tolerances are less forgiving.
I'd hate to open your kydex appendix drawer and figure out which holster is for which gun
Love the comparisons. Very practical video giving an overview to those considering this gun.
the CSX Field Strip & Reassembly is what's holding me back from purchasing. that and a Glock 26 or 29 gen 5 on the wish list
Great video as always! Thank you for the comparisons and reference points. Keep up the good work 👍
No problem man! Lots more to come! Thanks for watching and respect

Every ruger semi auto I have ever held rattled. Still good guns.
My SR9c and RAPc pistols did not rattle at all. Both were rock solid.
I have a Security 9 and that doesn't rattle, and the Max 9 rattle goes away when it has a loaded mag in it.
Thank you. I'm looking for my first conceal carry firearm and these comparison videos are great as I've been looking between Glock 42, 43, p365 Max 9 , & LCP Max
Try them at a range. Call a few. They rent arms, if you are old enough and meet a few other qualifications

Why are you cleaning your guns in a field? I clean mine at a table.
You are absolutely right, I am from Israel and we are only allowed to buy one gun. The comparison you make helps me a lot. Thanks
Geez only 1 to choose😂I would go crazy. God help you my friend. Cheers from sunny Florida

if only one pistol i may go glock 19 or cz 75

Nice! I got my Max-9 about a year ago on sale for $280.00
I have been comparing it to everybody else since... Still my EDC...
How are you liking the max 9?
@@natlovell122 love it! it's my edc still.
@@demandred1957 did you change the trigger ? I hear that’s the biggest complaint.
Deciding between this and an Springfield Armory XD 9mm subcompact

Max 9 rocks!
Love mine in 3 yrs never jammed USA
Great video for size comparisons! Thank you
@SPN You should upgrade the trigger. Let us know your thoughts about the OEM and Aftermarket trigger.
What a great comparison video!!! Best in TH-cam!
Looooooove this man your collection is nuts 🤌 so badass
Dude the more i see this the more i like it. After my sr9 saga as a new shooter i said never again, but this is a cool gun striaght up❤

Take your ReadyDot and put it on the Max 9 for co-witness.
Well I enjoy your videos and appreciate them. Thank you! I wish I lived near a gun store!
Glad to hear it man, that’s what it’s all about! Thanks for watching and respect
I have been watching videos on pocket 9mm’s for months now. Curious on your and the groups feedback on what the smallest micro/pocket 9 is?
Smallest I can think of is Diamondback 9
Thanks 🇺🇸
The csx! Show more on that one!👍🏼

I really like mine. Only downside is that it shoot low to point of aim and the sights are not adjustable.

You know heavier slide makes less shootablity ...right you have more mass sliding ..weight in frame makes the difference . maybe you miss spoke
I've heard the trigger isn't great on this but there are aftermarket triggers out there for this.
I appreciate the videos I think it was yours that was the Diamondback db9 vs ruger lcp max 380 👍
I have the ruger max 9 great pistol any gun is good if you train with it
If I wanted to upgrade the trigger and other options, I would buy the gun. Ruger did a terrible job, even worse than the LCP Max.
New sub definitely love it tho💯im waiting on my background check from the DOJ I purchased the Ruger Max-9
Gx4 or max9 if you had to pick?
Good Video Like Always!
Keep Up The Great Work!!
Amen & Respect!!!
Love the videos 👍🏾
I appreciate that man. Respect
What would you recommend for a 9mm under 350 as a first gun?
Local shop had these two single stacks for $349 each
S&W Shield (original, not the 2.0 or plus)
Walther PPS m2
How do you store them all? I appreciate your content by the way.
In a night stand
I don’t care if a gun rattles
How ya like the Reflex?
Also... What about the CSX?? I wanted that gun REAL bad when it came out but EVERYBODY dogged it!
Woohoo! Dropping a comment let’s go. Do it for the SPN
I had one but didn't like it a lot. I sold mine. Also, if I had all tho guns I would definitely do gun show off videos lol
My little cuz had a Security 9 compact never had a problem with Ruger also I hear the max 9 has a metal trigger on it, is that true? The security 9 compact cuz has dont
Spn i love your reviews. Can you review the stoeger str9s combat?
I appreciate that man. I’ll add it to the list!
Yeah... I wish Ruger stuck with the SR series of guns... An improved and developed them more... I've had a lot of SR series guns.
I can’t figure out why this video is so bright compared to everything else to my screen
@krisoutdoors my phone does it on fb sometimes too like it highlights the video and dims everything else. Just wondering if that’s me
So the Security 9 raw dawged the LCP Max and they had the Max 9, eh??
Which glock 26 base plate is that? Thanks
Which one would you take for EDC ? G26, Max9 or G43x ?
45 is for the fudds 😂 yes it’s a good rounds but not as many benefits as 9
Thank you for the video
Sheeeesh
Those are all yours!?
☠️
The reason why I do these videos is …. The algorithm
Speaking of slide rattle my lcp11 rattles and move a lot but no issues with it so far
Thanks for sharing, i would suggest keeping it to maybe 8-10 guns with more in depth comparisons. I think that would be more helpful
Show off! lol 😂 jk jk beautiful steel 😍 I just got my first pistol. Max 9 and I love the way it feels even though I wear size XL gloves I think it’s great for Carry Conceal
Haha fair enough. And agreed, love my max 9! Great choice and respect

Max 9 or reflex? 🤔

Wrong, there is nothing wrong with the finish and the barrel is far from lightweight. I suggest doing your homework instead of parroting the video.
@@Tel864 Contradiction is not an argument.

Kahr PM9 for the win!!
So, it loses to like 60% of the other guns, and as you said, questionable Ruger quality.
👍🏻💯
G27 FTW
Hk 40caliber compact
365 has a 17 round mag.
It's the pins for the red dot that rattles
