I am thankful more and more youtubers and talking about this matter. I feel like the biggest issue is absolutely population, millions of young men and women graduate each year in various fields. Offcourse govt can only create a finite no of jobs. Also not to mention the interior politics like corruption, paper leakages, nepotism, cash for jobs etc.

Brother the problem is schooling. Till 8th class it is fine. But see how in the West study is done. There are certain specialties like agriculture carpentry Stem Medical etc where it is skill orientated. A normal guy needs to do taxes etc, but that student is still learning english hindi maths science which has no use in real life as except for a pgt teacher. A normal guy has learnt the basics in 8th standard. We need skill focused education. Those who are earning good today learnt coding, or a skill or cracked a govt job. Rest are in the bracket of 10- 30 k who are in private structure with no work life balance. Entrepreneurship is not for everyone you need to come out of job mindset. India need good skill education and variety, also good entrepreneurs.

The education system is also worst culprit, the only emphasis is on rote learning since nursery. No practical skills are taught which are necessary to survive and make money. A traditional degree like bsc, ba, bcom is realistically useless today, if you don't have some kind of technical skill. Now we do have a lot of iti's for that but unfortunately they are poorly maintained. No proper funding, no proper classes just like govt run schools

Here is some realistic career advice:
Never opt for arts stream or go for any arts related courses. You will regret it for the rest of your life. Careers in Arts/humanities are not that plentiful or lucrative. This is the situation even in developed countries. Majority of the regretted degrees around the world are in the arts/humanities stream.
Talking about preparing for govt jobs, you can get a government job even if you have a degree in STEM or business and the variety of jobs available will be a lot more. The chances of going abroad will also be limited if you take arts courses. In fact, a lot of schools in India don't offer arts stream.
So guys, avoid arts at all costs. Get realistic guidance and select a better career.

If they are earning quite fine, they wouldn't consider themselves unemployed. Employment is just a word. But the main thing is earning money right? Ultimately how much and how you are making the money matters.

My simple question from an engineering college for example roughly around 500 students graduate. One manufacturing company employs on average 200 300 people.. But if you make 10 engineering colleges then 5000 students graduate.. to get employment then 12 - 15 companies need to be setup..

Let me add some more points that are affecting youth.
1. Those emplyed are paying taxes leaving nothing in saving
2. A lot of black money still goes in real estate sector that is uncontrolled and make it impossible to afford housing.
3. Those who are employed in private sector get salary raise far below increase in inflation leaving them with nothing.
4. Indian judiciary and law create more unemployment then any other factor for example if 15 year youth is booked under false posco act no matter false or true will never get employed in organized sector.
5. Most middleclass man are facing unemplyment because they cannot afford to pay maintenance to a wife who is misusing law for alimony and maintenance.
6. If indian legal system is not reorganized or redesigned then in future people will only work to feed their bellies youth will stop marriages population will fall and so the country.
