Unemployment is biggest problem in India even though they are educated they are unable to get a job. The rate of unemployment keep on increasing every year.
Agriculture has gievn job opportunity young generation in India.

In India Agriculture is still using methods & machines from many decades back. It's highly physical labour intensive, unstructured, unreliable & prone to exploitation of labourers . If it's upgraded so does people' s skills & education levels get upgraded plus out put becomes higher .

    • @aosaeanor
      @aosaeanor 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

At the root of unemployment are 2 key factors - education system & the increasing population. The type of education needed in rural areas is very different from urban areas. People's expectations are different.
At base level in rural areas education translates into gaining skills for an income at the earliest . Whereas in highly urban areas the focus is on gaining higher education for knowledge based jobs + even for overseas education . One standard type of education across India does not work well for a country so diverse at so many levels.
Hard reality is that till population keeps increasing India can never have sufficient opportunities & resources for all it's people. . The States that have the highest population have higher poverty level & lower literacy percent . That State has higher number of people involved in physical labour intensive work & less number of knowledge workers. Plenty other issues

      Population growth
The population of India has been growing rapidly since 1951, which puts pressure on the job market. This creates a situation where there are more people looking for jobs than there are jobs available.
      Skill mismatch
The skills of the workforce don't match the requirements of the job market. This can lead to a shortage of skilled workers in some sectors and a surplus in others.
      Caste system
The caste system can restrict certain types of jobs to members of certain castes.
      Poor quality education
The quality of higher education in India is poor, which can lead to unemployment among young people.
      Government policies
Government policies, such as high minimum wage floors or restrictive occupational licensing laws, can contribute to unemployment.
      Slow economic growth
India's economic growth is slow, which can contribute to unemployment.
      Seasonal agriculture
Seasonal agriculture can contribute to unemployment.
      Declining small-scale industries
Small-scale industries in India are declining, which can contribute to unemployment.
To address unemployment in India, a holistic approach is needed that combines economic reforms, education enhancement, and policies to bridge the gap between labor supply and demand.

    1) Impose 2 child policy
    2) Impose tax upto 50% having more than 2 child
    3) Move out from Service based IT to Product Based IT hub
    4) Reduce tax, 5% tax for middle class
    5) Make tax free for businesses upto 7 years and then tax them gradually
    6) Impose high tax on alcohol and tobacco
    7) Impose less tax on petrol and diesel
    8) Improve Healthcare system ASAP
    9) Freebies should be stopped
    10) 6 Month paid internship should be there in every company in every sector.
    11) Luxury car, Houses should be taxed more.

An Average Chinese has 2.5x skills than an average Indian. But unemployment in China is similar to India this is because of automation . The speed at which technology is automating is unimaginable in the past few years. Upgradation of skills will only create 5% of additional jobs not more than that. Overpopulation is the number one reason and over population in the 99th reason for employment crisis in India. Every sector is trying to automate and decrease human Labour.

Get Chinese factories in India so that the youth can get jobs. The unemployed youth don't realize that consuming the "India is superpower" messaging and religious divisions will keep them unemployed well into their middle ages. One reason why China is way ahead is because there is no religious divide promoted in China. The second is that the politicians in China have a China first policy instead of "looting the country first" policy.

There's a bigger problem than unemployment.
It's food insecurity caused by over population. Underground water crisis + global warming will decrease 50% food by 2032. Reason for underground water crisis is over utilisation to feed the over population since 1965. All our Bank reserves will be gone and fresh loans will be difficult to procure like Pakistan. This is huge problem….companies do have work…but they give two three employees work to one employee. Under the pressure of losing the job or being negatively perceived the employee ends up somehow completing those tasks, sacrificing their mental and physical well being. This is what is happening under the name of cost savings. Companies know there are ample numbers of job seekers to replace a existing employee and they are using this to get employees do heavy work under pressure. Another thing is rise of ghost jobs on job sites which is helping companies to collect data and market themselves, getting free assignments done..wasting precious time of job seekers. Since India has numerous job seekers why not try distributing work in such a way that everyone’s well being is taken care of? … Automation, technology, inflation and what not are already bringing severe mental and physical health issues to population…if not attended this issue can have substantial impact!

@@calicobizz8056 I am not sure how much market monopolization is in India but i doubt it is more than in the west where just 1 or 2 corporations control entire industry sectors. For instance people can start clinical labs, solar installation, Tax accounting, retirement homes, component manufacturing etc. All these are profitable in a lot of places and doubt would be subject to any competitive threat. But yes if law and order /corruption is a problem, India cannot sustain its growth. India will be trapped in the middle income status. If you see all high income nations, they are characterized by a strong rule of law , good governance and minimal corruption. Unless India gets these 3 things, it can forget about escaping the middle income trap. Only upper income commodity selling countries are still corrupt with arbitrary law and order. India does not have such resources. So better work to eliminate corruption and ensure a highly secure society NOW or just say that we do not care about being a developed nation and accept being in middle income status forever.

Most of our youth are engaged in any form of competitive exam preparation to get a high paying check, but they forget to work on their skills which actually makes them employable. When you are sure that u can crack any competitive exam within certain time limit then give your heart and soul for it's preparation otherwise it is better to gain any form of skill and enter job market get experience and hopefully in future you will definitely succeed. Role of government is also important but we also need to understand that they alone can't provide employment to all the youths. They also need to take some initiative by themselves and start learning some skills, everything is available on internet. Select wisely and give yourself some time to learn a particular skill.

Regional disparities is also a reason for high unemployment. For example, people from South India who live in metro cities like Bangalore , Chennai can definitely get a job with decent skills, however if you look at states like Bihar, jharkhand and Chhattisgarh, they have very few companies that could provide jobs to people.
Hence I believe this disparity must be addressed by the government. It'll also help in tackling the over congestion problem of metro cities.

India's past 10 years real story based on high Unemployment and high Inflation along with suppressed growth. Government is a super failure to boost Micro, Small, Medium businesses. MSMEs are the employment creators for rural and urban areas. In my research and data analysis, there were 1974 applicants for a 15 year experienced Sr. Manager 1 number post in a job portal in India and just 136 applications are viewed by Employer. This is the ground reality of job crisis in India. India has abundant with manpower (population) but nobody want to create employment and wiser workforce (For Example SKILL INDIA) SKILL INDIA is a super failure. Skill India says half of Indian graduates are unemployable. More than 70% of MBA qualified are unemployable. It means Education Institutes have 50% quality and inefficient or Skill India is wrong. If Skill India is wrong, where is opportunities? Why government is sleeping last one decade. There are CORRUPTIONS everywhere. A highly populated country will not progress if there is no employment.

India needs to look within for education and jobs , they have so many talented people, everyone needs to make a living and to support their families, stop employing people by word of mouth, look at their merits, some will be more educated than others , but many have skill sets which are transferable to opportunities. Start valuing your youngsters and encourage them to be better in whatever they are good at.

India produces 1 million Tertiary educated Engineers per Year.
It likely produces roughly 30k jobs in the field per Year.
970k newly minted Tertiary Engineering graduates are left to work in the unorganized sector.
There are less than 20k Indians in the entire Organized Workorce (including All fields) whom make atleast 1 Crore per year.

Reduce corporate taxes to nothing. Give corporations benefits to start businesses. Make it easy to enter businesses and make it easy for foreign companies to hire and manufacture in India with very low taxes. Privatization is the only way

People are talking about overpopulation on the comments. Why are they not speaking against government.
    India lacks strong employment laws.
There is no hourly wage system imposed in india
China has high population density than india yet they have better employment rate
India should ban caste based reservation for jobs

There isn't anything wrong in the idea of earning a livelihood by selling samosas but the whole issue stems from studying and working hard in your prime years only to end up selling samosas. You don't need academic qualifications for selling samosa

Problem of unemployment in a region can be judged by its labor migration very easily and perfectly. The area suffering from this phenomenon is Eastern UP and Bihar particularly. There are very few industries in this area. Density of population is very high. There is little per unit land to adjust vast population in agriculture. Measures should be taken seriously for establishment of labor intensive industries that includes cottage industries.
