That RPD reload where the player moves the side rail mount with the ACOG sight to the side to open the top cover to reload the weapon was nice👌

They also fixed the original reload animation in which the player character would dump all the rounds in the chamber instead of the magazine tube. So kudos for that.

Peter Nehemiah Technically this flipcocking would break this man, as the lever loop is the standard version, not the enlarged one of the OG MW2, meaning this would most likely result in broken fingers (same thing happened to Arnold when he picked the wrong shotgun while filming T2)

They fixed a lot of errors, that's really commendable. Congratz to the animators!
Appreciate it but they still have some errors on Akimbo. For example on the Desert Eagle the animation keeps the left index finger on the trigger when it should be pressing the slide stop.
The .44 Magnum animation is cringe worthy. The character doesn’t use the ejector rod and just magically shakes out the spent bullets, then swings the revolver shut (which you should never do.)

Because doing that can damage the crane of the revolver over time. Eventually the cylinder will not be in alignment with the barrel.

Unlike MW2 (original), the characteer reloads more carefully, looks like he doesn't want to hurt the gun.
How can you reload and somehow hurt the gun?

The fact they added the character moving the scope mount on the RPD pleases me (in the original you just ripped the mount in half while reloading)
The RPD ACOG being set aside for reloading is perfect attention to detail. You don't want that ACOG to be in the way while reloading.
The SPAS-12 reload is one of the few times it's ever been properly animated. You have to hold down the latch release to actually slide in shells, which typically no one depicts. So props to that.
Really liked and enjoyed watching this weapon reload animation of COD: MW2R!!!!

Awesome videos dude, i really loved these short videos with just the reload animations
Imagine a cod game with every weapon in the series, where you could customize the sound effects and the reload animations to make look and sound as good as possible. For example, I think the sounds of the OG spas-12 racking the slide are perfect for a weapon of its strength, but the loading sounds from this game sound a little better.
Firstly that's a waste of time, you can make your own sounds, models, anything without a cod game

I like how inconsistent the shell ejecting method is for the Rangers. When you reload a stand-alone Ranger, the shells are kicked out through non existent extractors, however when you reload dual Rangers, the player tilts them upward to manually drop the shells.

the pistols have weight and you can see the characters hands moving against the slide, the character moves the acog to reload on the rpd, the shotguns actually are reloaded from the chamber, etc

I like the more visceral, in your face animations in Modern Warfare than the more fluid animations of MW2, but I also appreciate the fact that MW2 Remastered has weapon inspection while Modern Warfare for some reason doesn’t, even though weapon inspection on Modern Warfare would be a match made in heaven😭😭😭

That FAL reload was the first time I saw that technique used. Looked so awesome and/or weird at the time but these days it's just par for the course for weapons that use a paddle mag release in my eyes.

Very satisfying how they redid the reload animations... I'm not a fan of the flashy flippy stuff, but considering MW2s mood and intensity, it does fit. But redoing them was the BEST thing they could have done for the guns in the MW series.

The only real problem I had aside from no MP was some of the weapons sounded a bit off from their real counterparts but they improved a lot from the orginal

It only took them like more than 15 years to finally nail the shotgun animations and make them accurate, worth the wait if you ask me.
Most games get the striker wrong, it’s actually not semi auto, you need to rotate the barrel to cycle the drum. The only game that got close to an actual striker was BF4.

It sounds like a counter strike gun imo
so there's 2 ways to mount a scope on an rpd. The meta game style, mounting it directly onto the bar thing that opens. Mounting it onto a weird thing that you move aside to open the other thing
