Fun fact in the user manual for the HK mp5 it actually says to slap the charging handle
One small detail I really like about black ops 1 is that you can hear the rest of your soldier’s equipment jostling around when you reload.

meh, sounds more crappy than anything. Plus, why would you only hear it when you reload your weapon? It just ruins the feel of the reload in my opinion.
@@kyferic4563 because it was probably not possible, or really annoying. Plus when you reload you would be rummaging through said gear to get the magazines, so it sorta halfway makes sense to me at least.

I wouldn't call them lazy its just.... There are quite outdated in modern standards but they sound so crispy. The outfit and equipment jiggling is what get me the most and the animations are quite are not really good but man that Mosin Nagant with scope gets me the most! How the f can you put stripper clip? And also this has alots of anachronistic weapons but I can't say it this game was fun!
@@yourewallsareveryconvenien8292 you're being a bit harsh here, this game is from 2010. you're comparing it's sound design, which might i add even at the time was pretty dog, to a much more modern game that came out in 2019. same thing for the animations, every cod recycled the same animations up until advanced warfare and even that cod recycled a bunch.
and those WW2 weapon animations are from WAW an even older game.
This is the last treyarch game with good sounds. Bo2/3 sounds like empty plastic guns, bo4 are farts

To this day, I still love the badass vibes I got when I played the game as a kid.

Let's appreciate how many times this dude had to go into Zombies and fight hordes of zombies and use the Mystery Box and buy guns off the walls with points to get certain guns for this video.
The 1911 sounds so satisfying even though I know it's 10 times more scratchier sounding than the real one.
I have a couple 1911s, and yeah the game's sounds are a bit exaggerated but not by too much!

FAMAS FELIN. Pretty rare variant, but one of the coolest looking bullpups to ever exist.
It's also a really weird gun to have in the game. It's from like 20-30 years in the future when you consider the setting.
That weapon is highly anachronistic no way that was in 60s.
Trooper ODST Even the original FAMAS was made like 6 years after the setting, let alone this variant from the early 2000s.

In real life, with the type of rifle and scope in the animation, you have to load the bullets one by one, instead of the standard 5-rounds-all-at-once stripper clip

That's because BO1 was made when quarantine wasn't exist look at Cold war it was produced during COVID 19 lockdown i could say they rushed it because of a deadline you should blame activision the only good thing is if cold war released first instead MW

The KS-23 was such a good shotgun. I'm tilted it never made it into multiplayer
It did 8 times the damage of the stakeout in campaign, so it wasn’t exactly meant to be balanced haha.
@@115zombies935 I mean more of on weapon feel. A good way to balance it would simply be to lower the damage (obv), give it further one shot range but steeper falloff and make it a bit slower to wield than the stakeout.
Tryearch actually planned to put it in multiplayer and zombies but it was cut and we only saw it in campaign

The most nostalgic one is the 1911.
For those that are confused. 5:27, The Tishina uses blanks to fire the grenades, similar to rifle grenades in WW1 and 2, hence why the character works the bolt. It also has a magazine of said blanks in the pistol grip that is never changed.

Technically the Luger P08 and the MG42 were in the game, but neither had reload animations, so good job.
