I'm pretty sure they didn't send the chopper to rio because all their helicopters were husy with the invasion on the Eastern seaboard which had just began
One chopper means not much
It’s just an excuse not to arrange
This is also possible, but keep in mind that TF141 went to Rio to prove that the attack was carried out by Makarov, returning TF141 would help end the war, and that's something Shepherd doesn't want, because he wants to be the hero, let's not forget that Shepherd was the one who started the war by sending Allen on the No Russian mission And if they can't send a chopper right now, it's because of what Shepherd did, You might like to watch these videos:
Allen Was The First To Be Betrayed

Shepherd Even Betrayed Makarov!!
th-cam.com/video/639NJU7plCU/w-d-xo.html
Shepherd started many wars in Iraq since the USMC and Afghanistan Hotel Site Bravo, even financing shadow troops for his own work who knows how many were sacrificed
No matter what Nikolai Comes in clutch
I’m pretty sure the first time doesn’t even count
"Since when does Shepherd care about danger close"
I think that line was said in the first mission
Yeah, the point is that Shepherd only cares about danger close when the danger is close to him. Everyone else, doesn’t matter if they’re US Army Rangers, CIA, TF 141, Shadow Co., they’re all cannon fodder.
@@CaptCovfefe515In Cod 4 he actually Cared about the Marines who was his Real army. He was Command. Completely different from Mw2 Shepard Pre Nuke which made him Insane. Right after it in Aftermath he was Saying Juliet.
@@hurricane7727given how general shepherd acts I wouldn’t be surprised if he was only mad about losing his troops since it made him look bad
The first 2 reason don't hold up since they have explanations.
With the Brazil mission, in the cutscene of hornet's nest you can see it says Brazil condemning the airport massa and in response denying the US airspace passage over Brazil which explains why TF141 being denied extraction.
With the gulag mission, Shepard says "one man in the gulag doesn't mean much to the navy at this point" which is understandable since the US Navy is probably not happy being forced to use their assets on rescuing one man instead of being sent back the US mainland to defend the Russian invasion and explains why their being a little trigger happy destroying the gulag.
It's also entirely possible Shepard wasn't relaying information to the Navy and didn't even try to call off the bombardment in the hope it would kill tf141 and Price
The first two definitely hold up given the context of the missions. The whole set of Brazil missions take place after the airport incident, meaning that if the US were to respect any air travel sanctions put in place by Brazil, they would have never been there in the first place.
As for the gulag mission, it is made clear that Shepherd was leading the counterattack on Russia. Under this leadership, it is the navy's top priority to follow his orders no matter what they think about them. They can't just blow up the gulag because they feel like it, especially if Shepherd specifically told them not to. It is definitely the case of Shepherd deliberately telling the navy to open fire or explicitly not giving the order to stop firing.
"Whose soap?" - the guy named worm
'Whose tf's "Worm" ' - The guy nicknamed Soap.
What the hell kinda name is worm?
Aye we love Worm.
Shephard tried to kill TF141, but in the end they killed him. Shephard was thorough though. He potentially got all but two members, Price and Soap. And in the end, they got him.
Although he has an entire army at his disposal that disappeared in a minutes against 2 disavowed soldiers that have don’t even have enough weapons, Shepherd almost killed them in the 2vs1 fight tho. And later in mw3 caused Soap’s death because of the injury he caused to him.
When the COD campaings had good writing.
I rather like to say that they were not a lengthy setup to a battle royale season
Ummm if you say so
@@adrianb714 He's right, the newer ones (even MWII) have dropped the ball when it comes to writing.
Tho at least MWII had good stuff.
I think it might've been best if Captain MacTavish went with Roach to Makarov's villa and Captain Price with Ghost to the boneyard, since the Captains have more skills to survive a heavily armed attack and could've protected them.
Always thought why didn't any of the captain go
Because the story didn’t…want soap to die there
@@TruthSeeker23099 if a captain was there shepherd would have died
@@TruthSeeker23099 It's not about the story. Like I said, the Captains are highly trained to survive a heavily armed attack. If one had went in with Roach or Ghost in different locations, they could've survived the attack head on and without any cover.
@@ANIMEFAN-ym6tc if you say so lol
I never realized Shepherd tried to kill TF141 before he revealed his true nature.
It's always interesting to uncover those hidden details in the storyline!
Rip Cod 4 pre Nuke Shepard. He was much Different than this Shepard
I saw on the villain fandom that before Modern Warfare, Sheperd was honorable until the death of his marines.
Maybe he wasn’t alive to know that Makarov was responsible for killing his marines 5 years before MW2.
@@sd_justice_duty9564 I think the Nuke made him Insane( I think he should have been mentally checked not just Demoted from a 4 star to a Army General). Heck right after the Nuke He was Saying Juliet on the Comms in the Aftermath mission. I remeber in my Jrotc Class we watched a Movie that showed the Effects of War and A Former Soldier had Ptsd and Thought he was still Fighting in that war though he was Home.
mw4 Shepherd was really a good guy. Until Makarov set those nukes off. Killing 30,000 men which made him insane and couldn't handle it much longer. Shepherd then sends Allen to Russia to get on Makarovs good side by committing mass murder at the airport. Makarov kills Allen then Russia invades the U.S. TF141 goes to Rio to prove Makarov did that airport attack which would end the war. Shepherd didn't want to end the war cause he wanted to do it for himself. Shepherd sends TF141 to 2 spots bone yard and Makarovs villa. Shepherd wanted to make up for everything that has happened.
Bro really said : My mates sucks i'll do it myself 🤣
Ive played this gulag misson for many years and i always found it strange that the navy kept air striking the gulug knowing soap and his team were in there im like they do know they have Friendly's still.
Honestly who knows maybe the so called navy jet fighter(s) was actually a shadow company member but that's just my theory
when you are so good at taking on armies you can get stranded behind enemy lines and have to question if they expected you to die or simply survive
Bro I’ve just played the mission “ the only easy day was yesterday” (oil rigs one) and in the briefing Shepard says that “he s probably sending them to death right now” or smth like that. So 1 more time technically.
And it’s a good video, interesting how on the first walkthrough u don’t even pay attention to these situations and accept them as natural circumstances
Look up Cod4 pre Shock and Awe Shepard aka Command. He actually was Different than mw2 version
Technically Shepard did succeed in killing Soap because it was his knife wound reopening that killed him.
obviously always knew that Seppard was bad from the turn on Estate but never realized he was trying to kill the 141 along the way, great video!
Back when cod was good. Never knew about all these times he tried to kill them.
The first two are doubtful. It's only after 141 focused on ending the war over killing Makarov is when Shepherd betrayed them.
1:18 but the f-15s bombarded the gulag were not operated by the us navy, only usaf. The us navy somehow bombarded the gulag using submarines armed with cruise missiles like tomahawk
I think the first 2 don’t count because: in Takedown due to the war erupting in the U.S; none of the men appear to be aware of it, and Ghost felt they were abandoned. And in the Gulag, The Navy just wanted to What happened to it already Especially because Shepherd said that one man in the Gulag didn’t mean anything to them and that they were not in a talkative mood right now
The navy one doesn't make sense. You still don't just fire in a building filled with friendlies that are inside. Trigger happy or not
The ending is still masterpiece with, with that epic song
All of the moments before shepherd killed roach and ghost showed early signs that he was going to betray us
After knowing that Makarov was responsible for killing Shepherd's 30000 soldiers
I hope PRICE felt sorry for Shepherd
Uhm no
No
He sure understands him but he ain't feeling sorry for him after what he did
I enjoy watching your new videos of call of duty games
Glad to hear that!
@alphacodyt I enjoy watching your other videos and I hope you take your time making videos
No matter how many times he tried to kill us he is still a legend
He's not , he killed my homie ghost and roach 😭
Good story. Subtle nods to the twist
I Truly Love This Case!!! It Is Actually Full/Plenty Of Hidden And Unseen Details!!!!!!
Those first 2 are just straight up accusations lmao. It's explained in the game why command didn't send a chopper to pick up TF141, and why the Navy kept firing on the Gulag.
1. Command's scanners and/or satellites had either been hacked, jammed, or malfunctioned. Command's map was showing hostile aircraft in areas where there was none, and not showing any in areas where they were swarming. Hence why in the mission opening command was calling a bunch of USA units asking if they were under attack, but the only one that was actually under attack was the only one that the scanners showed no enemy aircraft at all. Command thought there was a bunch of enemy aircraft in 141's area, so they denied Ghost's request.
2. Shepherd says many times that he's trying to negotiate with the Navy but they're not listening to him. He was able to buy them time but the Nazy was insistent on continuing their attack. Shepherd doesn't control the Nazy.
Well obviously there’s gonna be accusations after what Shepherd had done. You have to look at past missions and pay attention to the details and dialogue. The navy one is simple; Shepherd probably just told them to fire early to make it look like they started first when really he gave the order to
He did control the Navy I think as well in Call of Duty 4. He was Command and I think pre Shock and Awe Mission he was a Higher Rank than a Army General. I think he was a Four Star General so he had Command over all military forces
@@hurricane7727 He doesn't, Shepherd is a 3 star general in Mw2.
@@irondragondxd3836 cod 4 I think was higher ranked because he had command of all branches in shock and Awe
Nazy, Nazi + Navy = Nazy lolol
Shepherd wondered, how long could it take to kill 2 people 😂😂
dude he is lying to in "no russian" episode i mean he was say "makarov is money dog he is not care about nation or any idea" but makarov is in airport and was say "for zakhaev"
zakhaev was leader of ultranationalist
That's Shephard's pov and we don't find out that Makarov and Zakhaev are close until MW3.
Zakhaev was the Leader of the Ultra Nationalists and even with the Nuke in Cod 4 I feel he was giving Makarov Orders to do it
I knew shepherd was up to something
Ah yes, The Gulag mission is what Shepherd hinting about the betrayal of TF141.
What's really messed up is Roach was burned alive instead of getting mercy killed with a headshot
And He's Nowhere to be Seen in the New Cod Mw Universe.
@@hurricane7727lowkey happy he’s not. New cod universe sucks. They had something going with MW2019 and MWII but ruined it with MWIII ngl
@@cryptozex9192 Ironically Him, Sgt Paul Jackson, Vasquez( I know he's Alive in the New Universe since in codm he has the same Voice actor from Cod 4 so maybe he's a apart of the marines
what about the first mission in Afghanistan where Allen and the other Rangers were about to ride the humvees?, when the building (TF 141 is there) there is going to be exploded by Shepherd's danger close, ad there is a Ranger asked "isnt it a danger close for the task force" then the other answered? "cmon, since when does Shepherd cares about danger close?"?
Shepherd doesn't care about 3 friends was shoot by Brazilian in car as driver and 2 man down
Everything is better except for the knife throw in the remaster.
I had money and had a decision to buy the og mw2 or the remastered mw2. I choose the og one of course
Thanks for sharing your choice! OG MW2 holds a special place in many gamers' hearts.
He tray in all missions starting a snow line
0:06 this might be a theory that alejandro rojas is alejandro vargas in the mw reboot maybe there could be a theory when alejandro gets captured they forced him to join and kill shadow company and shepherd
Or maybe he wanted to have a little Payback on the people that captured his men, His base and tried to kill His mates
“He tried to kill Ghost and Roach”
Tried 😞
Five years ago I lost 30,000 men in the blink of an eye and the world just fucking watched that line from Shepherd still gives me goosebumps every time and was great writing.
The Nuke Scene was in Call of Duty 4
2:41😭😭😭
Shepherd actually wouldn't have any command over the Navy. Different branches of the military. Rivalries exist a *lot* between the branches, and considering he's using them to save *one* man instead of protecting the US it makes sense that they wouldn't be taking his suggestions.
Because even with his reputation, being an Army general means that's all it would be, suggestions.
Shepherd is the reskin of ct price but way more loyal
Wait what the comment was supposed to say ct price is the reskin of shepherd but way more loyal and better
@@colleenopalenik1272Shepard was loyal in Call of Duty 4 before The Nuke
How come you never talk about the Nuke in Cod 4? Pre Nuke Cod 4 Shepard was actually Very different from his Mw2 Version.
Ghost is survived
And he did kill 141 to the very last men
Almost, actually; Nikolai and price managed to make It out alive
Then there was Sandman, that died covering price from makarov's men
@@donutsorokin8042Sandman isn't apart of 141
@@Strain7 he was, he even wore a 141 uniform during His last misión
He most likely returned to the delta force when the 141 was disolved
@@donutsorokin8042 Sandman was depicted as delta force in operation kingfish and he was never seen working with 141 in mw2 so that means he was never apart of 141.
Knowing the delete ending scene Price died or na it doesn’t confirm the only evidence is the cigar which fell of his mouth
Aleast they figured it out
Took them long enough to get there!
I'll be always sorry for Ghost and Roach, they deserved to die like heroes, not like trash
Sgt Paul Jackson had it Worse in Cod 4. He got hit with a Nuke and Helicopter Crash and Suffered Radiation Poisoning and we could hear his Heart beat and then Died
The Last Fight Was Better In The Very First Game, Wasn't It????! But In This One Price Has Fought Better Than He Did In The Other One Which Was Of Course Won By Shepherd Who Got Murdered By Soap!!! Isn't Weird That Right After Being Hit By Price's Right Knee Upon The Chin, Shepherd Somehow Manages To Dodge Price's Five Blow/Hit?????!!!!!!!!
Bro calm down, the script was in Shepherd's favor all along, thats it
if MW2 Remastered is completed, why not release MW3 Remastered instead damn Activision and Infinity Ward
ill do 10 pushups for every like my comment gets....

I really don't buy any of these that Shepherd was trying to kill 141 before loose ends, because it makes very little sense in the plotline. Shepherd used 141 to the largest extent he could to get the most out of them. Once they had served their purpose and became a danger to him, that was when he finally went in for the kill.
Shepherd was only a Lt General (3 star), so he didn't have control over the navy, it also doesn't make sense for him to eliminate them at that point. Only once they get Makarov's operations data does it make sense for him to finally get rid of them because it runs the risk of exposure. Before that though, they didn't have the SLIGHTEST clue or suspicion about Shepherd, like ZERO indication. Part of what made it so shocking when he finally did betray them.
In Cod 4 he had the Control of the Marines which may have been in Mw2 or Mw3 Using Reserves Since A lot of them Died in Cod 4 who were His Real Army
