The fact his crush rejects him romantically but reconnects with him as the close friend they were back then. Besides, she didn't tell him "no.", but rather "not yet", is pretty cool
Yeah, I think Tsubomi should get more love from the audience than she gets, she’s pretty sweet compared to other popular girls and I don’t think she gets enough credit for being nice to Mob even during the rejection.

"Oh, that's right. I came here to save someone." Those words are so simple but so powerful when spoken by Mob. No matter how much negative emotion he is confronted with, nothing can change that his core is kind. In the end, nothing else matters, he will be kind.
I think the part of mob psycho that really hit me the hardest and makes me come back over and over is how his trauma manifests as a system. maybe not a conscious writing decision, but an accurate observation of how this way of coping works. ???% is a trauma alter shoved deep down so that mob, the protector, can keep trying to live his day to day life without the fear of himself and his emotions. the way they talk- having distinct memories, relationships, feelings, and even names ("I'm kageyama shigeo. you must be 'mob'.") makes ME feel so incredibly seen. I love it to death.
This is one of the best mob psycho 100 analysis ever. I usually get emotional and start crying when i hear about hard hitting arcs such as the seperation arc and the divine tree arc but your sense of humour also made me laugh so it was a mix of both at the end of the day. The "instead of destroying another city block, he just shed tears" made me laugh a lot while crying idek why 😭 I'll miss the show so much!
Another great part of Mogamis arc is the person who wakes mob up, the perfect example of someone who changed and the perfect contradiction of mogamis rant: dimple. A scheming jerk desiring mobs power given access to mobs body instead chooses to enter the girls mind to help mob out AGAINST his best interests
One thing i would also like to comment on, we all know the ending is perfect, well almost perfect, i wish they could've made Dimple's return temporary so that his character death would've been more emotionally impactful (even though his revival made sense), but other than that i have no complaints, one thing i would like to compliment though is the ending with Tsubomi, it was pretty obvious right from the start that Mob would get rejected, it makes sense both narratively and realistically, but the thing I'm going to praise it for is how they handled her character, they didn't make her your typical popular girl who isn't interested in the MC because he's too dull, boring, and ugly, instead after a time skip they showed us that Tsubomi sees Mob as a potential love interest since it's been shown they talk on the phone regularly, developing their relationship. In most cliche stories, they always make the popular pretty girl as one dimensional, by making their sole purpose to break the MC's heart to show that "You're better than this trashy girl" but no Tsubomi is an actual pretty girl with character depth
For sure! Tsubome ended up being a way better character than I ever thought she would be in the end. The fact that she waited for Mob to confess while he was rampaging through the city just proves how great she is.
@@NitsuaVids Yes, any normal sane person would go home if a tornado is directly going towards them, but it makes sense for Tsubomi as well, she might've had a hunch that Mob was connected to that tornado since she knows he's got powers
@@NitsuaVidsthank you for making this video mob psycho has helped with making friends and becoming more confident and honestly in my opinion a perfect 10/10 anime which can impact so many lives. God bless One and all future works that he makes
It makes a lot more sense because Tsubomi is seen throughout the series being aware of what’s going on with Mob, maybe even taking a bit of interest in what he’s doing. She was there when Mob reassembled that one girl’s novel (forgot her name, sorry). She mentioned how there’s a guy she’s interested in when meeting Reigen (granted, if memory serves, she later mentioned making up the story, but there’s that tiny sliver of “maybe she’s actually into Mob”). But it also makes sense that Mob was rejected. Beforehand, Mob viewed his powers as a burden, so he’d shut people out. But when it came to Tsubomi, he willingly showed off his powers, but didn’t actually try to get to know her as a person. Again, due to him shutting off his emotions completely and not being abled to engage with his peers. Later on, in high school, Mob only admires Tsubomi from afar, but doesn’t ever strike up a conversation to gauge if they’re compatible or not. Least not until the tail end of the series. But once we see they’re able to communicate (post rejection), it shows immense growth on Mob’s part, and the potentiality of there being a romantic relationship.
Mob psycho 100 helped me rekindle my relationship with my sister, and understand her better. Me and her had a very similar relationship to Mob and Ritsu before everything happened (Her being Ritsu and me being Mob) and the portrayal was just perfect. I finished the series last night, and I talked with her immediately after. We’re now watching Oshi no ko and having quite a good time
i absoluetly love video essays about the series of mob 100 as a whole because its good to hear the same "this anime is good and shows real change" but from different perspectives
Funnily enough, I'd say that Spiderverse's leap of faith is more about Miles's emotional progress than his battle prowess. He still has the same abilities before and after the scene, and what actually changes is his mentality
That's because that's all that there is. Everything else is just a result of it. Coming from someone who can really relate with that scene having done parkour for many years. That scene captures the feeling so so well.
8:30 Yea, I think we all tear up at that scene. It's so powerful and relatable given that we're all imperfect beings. Scene like that are what make me strive to hold onto my morals
The number one emotion I would equate with saitama is bored. But I guess confident works too for the purposes of making your comparison between him and Mob.

Mobs S1 story reminds me of how, in my teens, it was cool to have a weapon. It makes you feel strong, above your peers without one, itching to have a reason to use it, etc. At some point though, I stopped seeing being armed as a sign of strength. Some people around my age back then still carry around weapons nowadays, but me, I find confidence in that I can go outside without a need to arm myself.

I've been wanting to watch this video for so long, and finally after finishing the last 2 episodes of season 3 and bawling my eyes out I did😭 Mob is really a special series and like you said it does its job sooo well setting it apart from other shounens. the thing that sets mob psycho apart from other animes is how they define "becoming better" In other shounen animes usually the protagonist mostly remains stagnant. Their character doesn't actually change, just that they get more experiences from their journey. But i don't feel any satisfaction from that :v cause those protagonists don't reflect real life people. They feel like blank slates who happen to be kind and powerful But mob takes this differently and defines "becoming better" as EXACTLY what it should be in real life. Being kind, building connections. Being kind to yourself and other people. It reflects real life. In the end, no matter how rich or how much power you may hold in real life, there's no point in that if you don't find strength And because its so realistic, it moves people to change. Sorry for the dump lol. Maybe I'll make my own analysis of mob at some point in the future

I highly recommend the show even if you don't watch anime!! Especially the first season is so incredible. In this video some key wonderful scenes and you need the whole ep to grasp the scenes and their emotional impact. there also isn't any weird often off putting anime tropes like sexualising young girls. The whole thing makes you feel better. I hope you give it a chance! Eps are only 20 minutes, it's honestly funny, I rarely laugh out loud but in mp100 I laughed so many times. It utilises some stunning artwork and fight scenes are so well animated and choreographed. Give it a shot if you have 20 mins to spare. Such a rare, unique, honest, well written and heartfelt story
I love how the intros of mob psycho feel like they’re talking to mob as he progresses like how in the first season where he begins his efforts the lyrics support mob as if giving him courage with lyrics such as “if everyone is not special maybe you can be what you want to be”. As season two’s intro seems like it supports him by reminding him that no matter the situation “your life is your own”. I feel as if season three’s intro portrays the end of mob’s pursuit of change as he does so for the better in his idea, with lyrics at the end of “The one and only one”. I love mob psycho and I believe it’s music is one of if not the best in all kf anime, and the fact they made a band for the show makes it all the better. I'm a trans woman who was in a very body positive mood, so when you said to imagine the most beautiful thing I've ever seen I was like "I'm just going to say that's me" to be nice to myself. And then you asked "Does that thing you're imagining look something like this:" and showed Mob dressed as a girl. I... You gave me solid minute of laughing out loud. I got so wrecked hahaha. And I loved this video, it was the perfect summary + highlight of how great it was to watch
May God be with you, brother. Couldn't believe it when you said you were going on a mission. It was like you said, "Thanks for watching my video, also, we have more in common than you realized!" Hope your mission is going well.
The only complain that I have againts mob psycho is the use of mob parents, they were relegated and overshadowed by reigen, and the only emotional momment we got from mob towards his parents, was during the burning house scene, I think that mob and ritsu could be orphans, and the whole story will stay the same, even during his fights with mogami and toichiro he never remembered his parents, that was really wierd to me.
I liked it tho, that's very realistic how parents are always working or occupied and they children persona is created with interactions outside home, even with loving parents.

If you’re reading this and haven’t watch mob psycho even after this video, you should.
This is such a good video... It's sad how underated or under the radar you are.... Hopefully that changes some day
I’ve watched the ending scene with reigen about 3-4 times today in different video essays, and have cried in each one
Bro this recap was a masterpiece! Well done, God bless you on your journey
Please never stop making these videos my dawg
I just love how you reillustrate the story and show how the story is, and it shows how good the story really is. I just love reigen and dimple so much.
I love nitsua anime video essays
Awesome video. Always happy to hear someone else gush about things I love. Hope you have a great trip, looking forward to your videos in a few years when you get back.
This was a fantastic video! Good luck on your missions trip!
I just watched mob s3 to ufo ep today. I'm just searching the lore behind that episode and stumbled on this video. This chanel is so sincere when he makes this video. From the way you summarized and highlights a whole 3 seasons of this anime is so good. I really felt your appreciation towards this anime and makes me understand the message of it. Now, I'm also inspired by this anime through you. Thank you.
OH MY GOSH THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IVE SEEN A MEMBER OF THE CHURCH ON TH-cam LIKE EVER??? (aside from the official lds channel lol) My older brother is on his mission, and he struggled at first, but you just have to keep going. I loved this video, thanks for making it!! Mob Psycho is a favorite of mine

You’re videos make me want to start to make music you’re an incredible channel man keep up the good work 😄👍🏽
i missed nitsua
The ending of mob psycho 100 made me cry so much and I always look back on the ending and story and use it as motivation to grow
i saw a mob psycho 100 analysis type of video, and one of the best ways that the video described the psychic characters' changing as "damn, i'm just a dickhead with magic" and it fits so well
Nitsua is a 10/10 masterpiece
Seriously loved this video on one of my favourite anime’s. Especially I haven’t seen enough people talk about mob and mogami’s encounter enough. It’s such a special story that everyone needs to experience.
Seeing this video 9 months after it was uploaded is crazy because why was such a good video not recommended to me earlier?!
Oh my god, I got so roasted by your intro haha.
I don't feel bad by it, I'm just amazed at the sheer cosmic coincidence.
Thank you for this video it reminded me what's important and what I actually liked about Mob psycho in first place
I'll wait to watch another of your videos!
I 100% agree. Mob Psycho is truly Peak
Thank you for this video 🔥
Good luck Elder! Loved the video!
I’m a simple man. I see accurate title. I like before video even starts.
This series also REALLY HITS with the theme songs. All of them are perfect.
Mob is already one of my favourite things of all time so I'm just here to listen to you gush over it 😉
god i love this series so much. amazing episode that brought me to tears as I re lived mob psycho

"So to start, lets talk about One punch man..."
Yes, this is how anivideos are supposed to start. Gotta pay respects to everyone's first fav anime.
I’ve never had much interest in watching Mob Psycho 100. Your video has changed this. Thank you. I can’t wait to start. 😊
Absolutely Love Mob Psycho 100

Beautiful video man
God this story is too powerful, was crying through basically the whole video
I think the guy on minute 16:00 looks like Urameshi Yusuki, from Yu Yu Hakusho! He was a delinquent, and so this character has the same traits (the hair looks like Josuke too, but I believe the reference to be from an older anime). And I loved this video, it was the perfect summary + highlight of how great it was to watch
wow man the quality difference between ur old videos and now is something else especially the audio
Amazing video
May God be with you, brother. Couldn't believe it when you said you were going on a mission. It was like you said, "Thanks for watching my video, also, we have more in common than you realized!" Hope your mission is going well.
I can’t go 60 seconds without crying to this video
The only complain that I have againts mob psycho is the use of mob parents, they were relegated and overshadowed by reigen, and the only emotional momment we got from mob towards his parents, was during the burning house scene, I think that mob and ritsu could be orphans, and the whole story will stay the same, even during his fights with mogami and toichiro he never remembered his parents, that was really wierd to me.
I liked it tho, that's very realistic how parents are always working or occupied and they children persona is created with interactions outside home, even with loving parents.
The parents are specifically depicted as emotionally neglectful.
@@Voltar69 I'm aware of that theory, but I'm not quite sure about it, I think ONE just forgot them, or they didn't fit in the story.
@@Voltar69I didn’t see it that way. Why do you say so?
@@summero-my5in My memory isn't very good but I think I remember a scene where they were eating dinner together, I don't remember what happened but I remember it giving me the impression that Mob's parents don't really care about him.
why does every mob psycho video make me cry
This was great. I saw so much of myself in reigen. This was a great series recap.
Great video!
love how mob psycho conveys healthy ways for personal growth
goated video, I hope you get more famous
