i love ishigami as much as the next person but maaaaannn my guy miyuki doesnt get enough credit, dude literally puts everyone before himself in every situation and is an absolute chad for that stunt he pulled in the ending of season 3. Hell hes even the one that saved ishigami if we want to get down to it
More people are similar to Ishigami, the underachiever slacker type who tends to blurt out the wrong thing at the wrong time (yet still has his good points), than Shirogane, who, let's face it, is just a better person than 99.8% of anyone you'll meet in real life: highly intelligent, ridiculously disciplined and hard-working, good-looking, kind, generous, charismatic, etc., etc. Aside from a few minor character flaws, Shirogane is as perfect as one gets without coming across as a Mary Sue. That being said, I'm always more interested in what's going on with Miyuki and Kaguya than the side characters. I guess that puts me in the minority.
The weird part is Shirogane isn't really perfect, he's constantly sleep-deprived, he sacrifices personal hobbies for hard work, he can't do basic activities like swimming and he couldn't hit a ball, and really, he has to always put up a mask as Hayasaka and him discussed, and he is probably the most paranoid person in the series most exemplified by his imagination of Kaguya saying "O kawaii koto". He's my favourite character in the series because despite everything he has to go through, he really does genuinely care for everyone and looks out for them.
@@randomclouds4404 Not perfect, but his good points so heavily outweigh the bad that his bad points are really trivial by comparison. That scene between Chika and Moeha in the student council room even jokes about this, how Chika keeps trying to bash his ineptitude before admitting that he always overcomes all his weaknesses anyway. His strengths are so great that they tend to cancel or even eliminate his weaknesses. His primary flaw, IMO, is his blustering "pride" that is really more like insecurity about his relatively low social status. But that's not unfounded. Status is hugely important. He doesn't have the same safety net that the other students enjoy,, so even his greatest flaw is pretty understandable.
Also, like… Kaguya *is* deep. It simply deals with it in the comedy genre. But that levity often gives it the cushioning it needs to deal with some very, if not depressing, distressing themes. Hayasaka's authenticity. Ishigami's hero complex. Kaguya and Miyuki's insecurities. It's not over the top, but it is amazingly deep. Aka consistently impresses me with just how ridiculously well done it is.
Yeah, Hayasaka backstory (chapter around 180) was really depressing, and it also put some other things concerning her into perspective. The chapter where Kagyua interupted her bath three times cause she had a problem with twitter account suddenly felt different, I was really mad at Kagyua. And even before this late chapter, it was shown how Hayasaka suffered because of the overworking, not having time for herself and being forced to put a persona all the time...Kagyua was really inconsideret of her, she was supposed to be her sister, but she never cared how Hayasaka felt and dindn´t consider that she makes her life even harder by all the impossible demands Kagyua loveless family situation was also heavy, and already from the beginning, we saw how messed up Kagyua is because of this..this was also explored into depth, we saw the cold, manipulating side of Kagyua, we saw she is very selfcentered and that she was basically saved by the kidness she saw in Shirogane....and even when she met him, she thought he has some ulterior motives becuase she was used to see people as someone that should be only used to her benefit If you think about it, Shirogane would be just fine without her, he, as a hardworking kind person, would find a good partner anyway....she would end as a psychopath
You are spittin' straight facts, but you got one thing wrong: Kaguya-sama IS, in fact, DEEP. The mature themes it tackles are so sophisticatedly handled. It constructs three-dimensional models of the characters and we get to scrutinise them from multiple angles to see the full picture. This show is ultimately about how we should not judge a book by its cover, how we should take a deep breath, be patient, and try to understand all sides of the argument before recklessly jumping to conclusions. It puts on this front as a romantic comedy, but deep down it's actually a tour-de-force coming-of-age story that is also a full-fledged examination of deeply flawed teenagers struggling to come into their own when put in various emotionally challenging situations. It's a story about growing up and it does a remarkable job of showcasing its complexities. The dynamics and relationships between the characters are always rooted in something tangible and palpable, and that is what makes them so easy to root for. Throughout the show, we slowly peel off the layers to reveal that there is more than meets the eye. It has a seemingly endless desire to dive deeper into its full-bodied characters. It's genuine, it's relevant, it's resonant. This is a story that is utterly human. One that is able to speak dearly to us through all of its satirical endeavours.
YOU WORDED EVERYTHING PERFECTLY!! I'm pretty sure many would even understand you if they read the manga. Lots of character development and story progression is in there
I agree this is literally the best adaptation ever while reading the manga I would wonder how they would adapt it and this adaptation absolutely blew me away.
10:11 something really interesting I found out after rewatching the whole series is that not only the first and third endings are connected but the story they are telling is "the tale of princess kaguya" as it would have played out if Miyuki and Kaguya were the main characters. In the third episode of s2 Miyuki mentions the story and how if it was him he would have drunk the elixir of immortality and would have gone to the moon to take princess kaguya back, well that's exactly what happens in the endings and I love it! They are so full of little details like that and I can't get enough of it. Honestly if you rewatch that episode and then the endings it gives everything a totally different meanings
I won't give spoiler but the final chapters of the manga is totally based on that 3rd ep of S2 part and you can say the 3rd ending forshadowed the ending. BTW, the anime has caught up only half of the manga, so I expect 3 more seasons.
immediately read the manga after the masterpiece ending of season 3, and it just keeps getting better and better AND BETTERRRRRRR!!! THIS IS ANIMANGA SERIES IS TRULY ONE OF THE BEST IF NOT THE BEST OF THE BEST!!!!!!!
When season 3 started I binged the first two seasons of the anime in 2 days. Then when season 3 ended I binged the manga. I have never been like with any anime/manga before. This is truly a masterpiece.
@@as1m__ After I caught up I felt a huge emptyness and had nothing to do. This has only happened twice. The other time it happened was with Steins;Gate
1:05 - 100% agree to this point that sets Kaguya-sama apart from many others. There are plenty of original jokes, comedic references, and doesn't just rely on the typical tropes for humor that you usually see.
@@romulorafael5563 Haha one example that is relevant to what you said is the twist with the Ishigami panty shot as he was changing when Kaguya and Chika walk in the student council room. Then lead to the whole underwear topic for jokes. lol
A great example of this is how up to date they were, SPOILERS: They literally have a whole page of Shirogane's dad explaining how OBS works (A recording software youtubers/streamers use) and Ishigami explaining Discord. The originality is what separates them from other romcoms
@@lemur2367 SPOILERS FOR THE LATEST CHAPTER !!! did you see the new chapter where all of stuff did happen inside minecraft and the author did draw them all in minecraft it was so good
Kaguya-Sama is the most complete package of an anime series I have seen in a minute. You summarized pretty much most of the main points of it's greatness, but even missed out on it's pacing and character development. Looking at how characters like Miyuki, Kaguya and Ishigami have grown into better persons over the course of the series has been such a wholesome journey to have witnessed for me. Heck! Even Miko Iino and Hayasaka have made progress here. Fujiwara is pretty much the only person who remains the same and we all know that's not gonna happen and for obvious reasons of being the ticking time bomb that she is
I binged it all in two days or so and I can't stop thinking about it. I don't even watch romance anime! Reading the manga currently. Which is something I ONLY do with my favorite animes of ALL TIME. I'm too proud to admit it but if I continue to feel this way after the manga finishes I might have no choice.
so , how are you feeling now that there is only 10chapters left in the manga before it ends ? honestly i will tell my therapist that next time i meet her lol
i feel like the only criticisms of the show I've seen are people saying that its not "original" or "the romance doesn't progress" (which I honestly don't get). It completely nails every aspect of a romcom, with loveable side characters and main protagonists. Some people say that there is also a lot of "filler", when this is a slice of life anime. I'd say it is the best romcom anime of all time
I feel like people who say that Kaguya-sama's romance doesn't progress are the same type of people who expect the main characters to immediately kiss and have sex in the first episode
A couple years ago I thought I had my definitive top 10 of anime series and that no other anime could enter that list, because the anime series that were in my too were so influential in my life that when I grew up I thought no other series could influence me that much again, after all, when you're an adult, your personality is already established, and it is hard for something to pass through that barrier, but Kaguya absolutely freakin proved me wrong. When I was in high school I had my first "Oh, so this what a director is for" moment when I saw the requiem scene from HxH, I was mesmerized at how they combined visuals, music and voice acting. When I watched Kaguya, I was blown away again by how good the direction was, and now I can't believe the manga is ending...
In my humble, and objectively correct, opinion, Kaguya-sama is clearly, demonstrably, and objectively, better than spy x familly. I think the love it gets is mostly from "shiny new thing" syndrome. When you actually compare the shows you see that kaguya does everything spy x family does better. It will have the same sort of internal monologue gag but while it will just be a cut and paste gag in spy x family in Kaguya it will have 5 more levels of reference, symbolism, character building, story development, and visual creativity. Ps. Spy x Family is still good, it's just that Kaguya is perfection. Also, how is it not deep? It one of the best more relatable character studies I've ever seen tackling character with deep insecurities and character flaws. Just the fact that this show made me go from "just confess, this is bs" to totally relating to why they both feel like they can't is amazing. "That is why I can't confess, If I confess I might fail, but if you confess your success rate would be 100%". oh god my heart.
Yeah, I'm not afraid to say that Spy Family is mid. It's like 80% family and 20% spy, and that 80% family part is relying solely on Anya's cuteness and Loid's exasperation for comedy in every. single. episode. And can we acknowledge how the show almost completely boots Yor to the sidelines? We only saw her assassin gig once in the whole season.
The flaw with you guys though is that you're comparing Kaguya with 3 seasons of a well built up story adapted from 136~ish chapters with Spy x Family with only 1 season adapting around 13~14 chapters (if you're counting page numbers then just double SxF's chapters and that's still far from Kaguya's one) Of course Kaguya-sama's anime will be far better with such fleshed out plotlines, characters and themes when it has more than triple the amount of content of SxF If you're strictly comparing both of their season 1, they are more or less a tie with their already superb writing. It'll only be preference at that point between romcom and family themed animes. However, SxF will obviously be more popular since its PREMISE is already better than Kaguya's, not to mention rare and absurd. Kaguya's premise relies on the audience/reader already being aware of the tropes of anime romcom because it is actively subverting it while SxF is completely original and easily digestable (whose only counterpart could be the Mr/Mrs Smith movie). Also, imagine the size of audience a family themed show can bring. The potential size of its target audience is already huge. However, the EXECUTIONS/direction on their respective premise though are both really good and that's where I think Kaguya shines the most. Maybe when SxF reaches around 70~80 chapters (or 36 episodes) we can properly assess it against all 136 manga chapters/3 anime seasons of Kaguya. But until then lol Kaguya finale will still always be 10/10 tho
@@username-ql8ox No because the exact same things that made Kaguya season 3 better also made Kaguya season 1 better. Kaguya S1 isn't on par with SxF S1, Kaguya is superior in every regard, every comment about visual creativity, character building, and joke build-up all still apply. By the end of season 1 we had had several deep character moments that really showed the inner struggles of Kaguya specifically and had already gotten a satisfying emotional climax with the fireworks festival, which was the culmination of a storyline that had been built up through several episodes, both by showing kaguyas obsession with fireworks as well as the pain she felt being controlled and denied by her family. SxF in no way measures up to S1 of Kaguya, despite being a pretty good show.
@@DutchDread I guess each to his own then. I personally think SxF's first two episodes are so strong in establishing the premise and atmosphere of the show that it is as good or even better than the finale of Kaguya S1
Great video! You put many of my thoughts into words. It really truly feels like the production committee for Kaguya cares about this show a whole lot. Just look to the 10 min season 3 trailer for proof. I've never seen that for any other show
i was like "What can high school rom-com anime possibly offer", then i watched the first ep and it was amazing... I binge-watched all three seasons and the special season... i will be waiting for the new season for sure
Great video, nobody should miss out on Kaguya-sama, had me laughing out loud so many times. The same can be said for Teasing Master Takagi-San, also criminally underrated 😊
To the anime onlies, trust me. Next seasons (and the next movie as well) will be what you already saw times 1000. Everything is just getting started and if the animation studio doesn't change, I am about to cry at the only thought of what they could actually make for the adaptation.
I had actual withdrawal symptoms once I finished the anime and the manga. I was thinking about it 24/7 and had the urge to go back in time to rewatch the whole thing. This is the best thing that happened in my life and I was acting like some sort of addict. "Perfect anime" is the only way to describe this. Chef's kiss.
I'm re-watching kaguya sama and for the first time ever I enjoyed a re-watch more than I did the first time I watched it. Honestly it is just PERFECT. There are no other words to describe it. My #1 anime of all time and i'm probably gonna keep re-watching it for years.
Something I love about love is war is unlike other romance anime shirogane and kaugya both and very good reasons to want the other person to confess. Shinomiya because she was never loved by her father so she wants kaicho to be the one to tell her. And as for shirogane because of the difference between the status of his and kaguya's family if she is the one to confess first he will feel equal to the girl who he loves. Aka akasaka is an amazing writer and his psychological writings are amazing really, it's no surprise Oshi no ko is also turning out to be a big hit mans on another level.
My take is that it also about how we make certain things complicated where in reality, it's just in our mind. If they became straightforward at first then the mind games will be irrelevant but as we mature, we always have this phase of unnecessary thoughts that we play and by just taking courage, going from point A to B; will save us a lot of time.
This is my favorite video on TH-cam now. I’ve been on the Kaguya train since season 1, and it’s been my number one ever since. And NOBODY I know ever seems to have watched it 😭😭 thank you for this much needed dopamine
besides all the relatable problems like that lonely summer in season 1, the characters are such likeable people not because of one specific character quirk or trait, every part about them is something to appreciate. shirogane is someone who always pushes himself to be the best possible person he can be. ishigami helps people without needing any gratification like a thank you, he just does it out of kindness. kaguya is not so likeable in terms of outside traits but her loneliness (family love, not seeing friends outside of school) is something a lot of people relate to. chica and ino i can’t really think of a lot of things other that they are great comedic relief although thats not to say they dont have their serious aspects, its just not as noticeable as the other three main characters
spot on review bro, A1 studios really put their passion and effort in adapting the manga. ofc the manga is a banger as well but the anime elevated it for the most parts. what I loved the most with the anime are the voice actors they are so good.
I agree wholeheartedly. Also the references are next level. I am giddy with delight when they mimic famous music and thus create a great reference, it is SO FUN.
So like here's something I love. The references. We legit get so many references to other media. In S3 alone we got several music references like Queen (Twice. We will rock you and Bohemian rhapsody), Aha (Take on me) and a few others. The Ed is a whole ass reference to Starship troopers. You also several game references like Resident Evil and guitar hero. It's a just bunch of nice Easter eggs. Also am glad that Japan still loves the hell out of Queen. Here's some fun things related to Ishigami VAs. If you want to see how good his vocal range is than watch the Sabikui Bisco (Compare Ishigami to Bisco and you might be fooled into thinking they're voiced by different people but they're not). He also sings the Ed of that show alongside another VA and he's amazing.
I just started watching a couple months ago and never really was into romance either. this was my first romance anime and oh my god the ending had me crying like a 14year old girl. I rarely even seen movies this good but an Anime. Anyone on this planet should watch this show.
Ngl, here's my thought process when I was watching it S1: Alright pretty good, fairly entertained, go onto S2 S2: Fuck, I'm invested S3: Holy fucking shit.. That ending..
The fact that I was laughing my ass off at just quick visuals that popped up that would probably not look funny from an outside perspective is proof how absolutely amazing the comedy is in this anime
Though I got to disagree with only one thing, I really hate the English dub nartor voice, it actually annoys me to an unbelievable extent, that also really discredits the nartor as a whole, but that's also just my personal subjective opinion
I just binged the last half of 3rd season and oh boy i cant agree more its just the best im not the crying type but it got me to cry of joy for the characters its just THE best anime ive seen. But still nothing beats The last airbender
Indeed!! It's a perfectly blended animanga from its animation, soundtracks, OP and ED (S1-S3), story, charac development, comedy, romance, and side stories. It's soooo dang perfect. That's why it deserve the number 1 spot and highest rated anime this season
Wow, this video was beautifully made. This anime is definitely in my top 3, and you did the anime justice with this video. Got yourself another sub, I hope your channel blows up!
I'm a year late, but I wish the english dub was spoken about more. All of the actors and actresses their seemed to be just as passionate and had just as much if not more fun than the Japanese actors. The Narrator especially was unhinged and chaotic and I adored it
MY MAAAN THANKS FOR THE AMAAAZING VID !! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I am just soooo happy that you talked about everything in my mind, the review was amaaaaaazing as a really bigggg fan of the show I REALLY ENJOYED YOUR VID, THANK YOU MA MAN ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Man I'm in love with this show🤩 especially Season 3. Season 2 was normal and not funny for me but Season 3 was Hilarious and heart warming 🥺 the ending was so perfect and beautiful i repeated the heart shaped balloon scene many times that gave me goosebumps 😍🔥
You described really well how the music elevates the already great show. I even have some of the songs on my phone. It captures how though the situation itself is relatively benign, to them It genuinely feels like life and death. I relate to the show a lot because it is an exaggerated version of my teenager years. I would be overthinking and overcalculating situations when I am with someone I like, just for it to end up nowhere near what I envisioned in my head. It's funny to me how kaguya sama can simultaneously be a parody of rom com while also being the best one.
The best part of the anime is after chapter 139(season 3), most animes finish with the protagonists getting in to a realtionship, but oh boy this animes story is more interesting after they become a couple (139-260+).The manga isnt finished yet i think
I love how the rap battle episode is somewhat of a musical episode. I love for their to be a true musical special though. The songs would be absolutely wild.
Before, I had Kaguya-sama as my 7th fav. series of all time. After watching the season 3 episodes, it went from 7th all time...to 1st! 100% agreed Ishigami is the GOAT. But Hayasaka is best girl.
I lived through this and I have to say, this is accurate except for the pride thing. It’s more that you don’t want to be the one to ruin the friendship. It’s actually fun as shit. I actually used the texting trick in episode 4 even though I hadn’t seen the anime or manga yet. In episode 6 they did a love test thing and I also absolutely fucking locked on for every question that could have anything to do with it. Plus I also have Palmer hyperhidrosis. That part isn’t really important to the story in both.
You know, I had to start the first episode three times, because the first 2 times I got fed up with what they did halfway through, despite the fact that I wanted to like the show. I felt like I knew what they were going for, and I was there for it, but man did it not click. Eventually though, it did, and I think it took me until the end of the first season to realize that this was an extremely slow burn inside of an explosion. And you can't watch it as one or the other, you have to watch it as both simultaneously. Which is a bit exhausting, but absolutely worthwhile. I've now finished season 3 and man, what a ride.
Welp i binged it in 4 days including the movie. When i finished season 3 i couldn't stop smiling because of the kiss but after the movie i just felt empty and lonely cuz i want a girlfriend
I think the Chika dance blowing up was ultimately to the shows detriment. When i saw it and saw what kind of people interacted with it on TikTok and such i genuinely thught its simply just a mindless silly show. No one that was talking about it actually seemed to take it serious back then. But seeing how you talk about it and realizing what the show actually is i will definetely give it a try now.
The anime that got me because of Masayuki Suzuki - seriously love is war is nothing if Masauyki isnt singing the theme song. I listened to the theme song for so many times before I watched it and now I regret watching it for far too late - then coming back to the songs actually feel a lot more sense now.
Well It still has the number one spot on MAL still to this day And the dub is acceptable And the manga artist is a Genius for Putting Reference And the OP and ED easter eggs are also genius Never seen it on anime before Also This is also Techno’s Favorite Anime (I can see why)
I've never been an anime/manga guy, read and watch the classics (One piece, Naruto, Deathnote, Dragonball, and that should be it). I then saw Fujiwara in a LOT of memes, so curiosity got the best of me, aaand i watched the (at the time) two anime seasons in 2 days, and then proceded to read the manga top to bottom in 3. This is such a masterpiece tbh, and it saddens me so much that it's coming to an end. Knowing that i won't be able to see new scenanigans and schemes from this cast is almost absurd to me, they are so good they actually felt real. Im going to feel this ending more than one piece i believe, truly a masterfull writing. Btw: Amazing video, even thoe not mentining best girl hayasaka is a severe sin
Pretty much late to this, since I just watched the anime. I loved the manga,so I decided to watch the adaptation. Its so sad they skipped some funny part and also the last i think 8-9 mangas . Besides that i couldnt get tired of it. Its just a master piece, you framed it really well.
I VERY RARELY buy Blu-Rays. I was never so quick to unashamedly spend hundreds on the Blu-Rays of all 3 seasons of this series and preorder a ticket for the movie back in April 2023. This series is so worth it and then some
This anime deserves every single grain of hype and praise it will ever receive!! And this is coming from a guy who generally don't watch a lot of romcoms because of easily they get predictable, filled with too many anime comedy clichés or gets boring cause of bad tempo in the storytelling. In an almost Breaking Bad'esq fashion, I didn't find a single episode unnecessary or bad where it felt like they dropped ball, not even for a little bit. I was just floored by how hilarious, emotionally intelligent and great this anime was.

Ishigami is literally the best. I loved him already from the anime, but when I read the manga he became my favorite character by a mile. Especially the way he handled THAAAAT situation. I won't spoil it, but if you've read the manga, you know what I mean.
I have a love hate relationship with Kaguya. I'd read the manga and binge through a few dozen chapters, before I started getting annoyed by small things like plot, character details or just get really annoyed with petty things that are more of a skill issue on my part. Like when a couple would get lovey dovey and it would piss me off. Then after a few months I'd come back to it curious and adore it again. Everything about it and the manga are master class. Just insane levels of genius that I just cannot comprehend from a single author. My only one gripe with it is with the personality disorder arc and the last arc. The former leading me to almost perma dropping it and the latter just feeling kinda, eh. Otherwise I have nothing, but praise for everything this story does
It was my first romcom so I think I got fed with a golden spoon Ishigamis season 1 gag always made me laugh even if it was kinda over used I dident get sick of "I’m going to go home now"

Well said.
Yeah yeah, but the anime takes things away that aren't fit for a comedy, which is why they don't expand on these as the manga does
YOU WORDED EVERYTHING PERFECTLY!! I'm pretty sure many would even understand you if they read the manga. Lots of character development and story progression is in there

Wow that actually explains s3's ending a lot. When I first saw it I was so confused but its so cool that it was intentional to that degree
I won't give spoiler but the final chapters of the manga is totally based on that 3rd ep of S2 part and you can say the 3rd ending forshadowed the ending. BTW, the anime has caught up only half of the manga, so I expect 3 more seasons.
I noticed that myself too and it makes me enjoy that ending even more
immediately read the manga after the masterpiece ending of season 3, and it just keeps getting better and better AND BETTERRRRRRR!!! THIS IS ANIMANGA SERIES IS TRULY ONE OF THE BEST IF NOT THE BEST OF THE BEST!!!!!!!

1:05 - 100% agree to this point that sets Kaguya-sama apart from many others.
There are plenty of original jokes, comedic references, and doesn't just rely on the typical tropes for humor that you usually see.
Exactly, The comedy in kaguya isn't just a pantie shot, is well planned, evolve and have plot twists.

Fujiwara is pretty much the only person who remains the same and we all know that's not gonna happen and for obvious reasons of being the ticking time bomb that she is
Iino is currently undergoing a big development arc in the manga. Can't wait for the manga to finish I'm so hyped!!
I just watched it in a 24 hour watch and it was so beautiful that I can't get enough of it... I WANT A SEASON 4

This season was a romance anime masterclass. - i need to make a video on it myself 😭
Goodluck with that!
i feel like the only criticisms of the show I've seen are people saying that its not "original" or "the romance doesn't progress" (which I honestly don't get).

Ishigamami-Kun Life is War
The flaw with you guys though is that you're comparing Kaguya with 3 seasons of a well built up story adapted from 136~ish chapters with Spy x Family with only 1 season adapting around 13~14 chapters (if you're counting page numbers then just double SxF's chapters and that's still far from Kaguya's one)
Of course Kaguya-sama's anime will be far better with such fleshed out plotlines, characters and themes when it has more than triple the amount of content of SxF
If you're strictly comparing both of their season 1, they are more or less a tie with their already superb writing.
But until then lol
Kaguya finale will still always be 10/10 tho
Btw, there's no such thing as an objectively correct opinion when it comes to art.
Great video! You put many of my thoughts into words. It really truly feels like the production committee for Kaguya cares about this show a whole lot. Just look to the 10 min season 3 trailer for proof. I've never seen that for any other show

To the anime onlies, trust me. Next seasons (and the next movie as well) will be what you already saw times 1000. Everything is just getting started and if the animation studio doesn't change, I am about to cry at the only thought of what they could actually make for the adaptation.
I am sold on watching this anime before finishing the video ...you did a great job...

I wish that Love is War became more popular. Masterpieces should be known and manga actually ends soon, so let’s wait for new adaptations in future
I think its better this way because the more it is know the more worse the fandom gets
It was #1 on MAL and is still in the top 5. How is that not well known? Everyone knows this show is good
The fact that season 4 is not even announced
And the Dub went Wild!
Aka akasaka is an amazing writer and his psychological writings are amazing really, it's no surprise Oshi no ko is also turning out to be a big hit mans on another level.
this is absolutely the one anime that I rewatch over and over again and still love it
My take is that it also about how we make certain things complicated where in reality, it's just in our mind.
I won’t regret saying Kaguya Sama is better than spyxfamily
Incredible content. You’re underrated and deserve way more attention. Keep it up. :)
Thanks. I'll do my best
The Background Music throughout the whole Video !! Just Awesome
besides all the relatable problems like that lonely summer in season 1, the characters are such likeable people not because of one specific character quirk or trait, every part about them is something to appreciate. shirogane is someone who always pushes himself to be the best possible person he can be. ishigami helps people without needing any gratification like a thank you, he just does it out of kindness. kaguya is not so likeable in terms of outside traits but her loneliness (family love, not seeing friends outside of school) is something a lot of people relate to. chica and ino i can’t really think of a lot of things other that they are great comedic relief although thats not to say they dont have their serious aspects, its just not as noticeable as the other three main characters
spot on review bro, A1 studios really put their passion and effort in adapting the manga. ofc the manga is a banger as well but the anime elevated it for the most parts. what I loved the most with the anime are the voice actors they are so good.
I brutally underestimated how good s3 was
I agree wholeheartedly.
Good video.
I imeditaly smile when they put the over the top ost, is just great
I just started watching a couple months ago and never really was into romance either. this was my first romance anime and oh my god the ending had me crying like a 14year old girl. I rarely even seen movies this good but an Anime. Anyone on this planet should watch this show.
Ngl, here's my thought process when I was watching it
S1: Alright pretty good, fairly entertained, go onto S2
S2: Fuck, I'm invested
S3: Holy fucking shit..

YES, Im not the only one who thinks this anime is amazing.😁😁
Yeah I've gotta check it out
perfect anime fr. (also yu looks like that guy from persona 3)
in a comics, stories after anime are deeper and darker but I love how they confront and fight it
I love how the rap battle episode is somewhat of a musical episode.
I have no problem saying this is one of the best animes ever made
I lived through this and I have to say, this is accurate except for the pride thing.
Sold! Will watch this weekend
Well It still has the number one spot on MAL still to this day
And the dub is acceptable
And the manga artist is a Genius for Putting Reference
And the OP and ED easter eggs are also genius
Never seen it on anime before

I really love it 😭😭😭 waiting for saison 4
i think what also makes it so unique to a regular romance anime is the psychological aspect it also has
That rap scene sealed the deal I'm definitely watching this especially after I read spy x family on your recommendation
This anime/manga singlehandedly made my bar so high that I was unable to find any other anime/manga enjoyable. It's THAT good.

1:15 dont you dare disrespect hormiya like that
The latter half of the manga is so fucking good but I feel like it's not gonna be as big as the s3 finale unfortunately
To ice kaguya arc is better (romance wise)
Otherwise I have nothing, but praise for everything this story does
It was my first romcom so I think I got fed with a golden spoon
Ishigamis season 1 gag always made me laugh even if it was kinda over used I dident get sick of "I’m going to go home now"

And holy shit dude, I do not regret watching it. Love is war is such a genuine masterpiece it’s insane. The show is so good, character development and animation are perfect, I love all the characters, etc.
Personally, I watched it in dub, and it was legendary. The dub voice actors are all amazing, and represent their characters so well. Also, the narrator in dub is literally perfect, he adds such a funny touch to the show and is so unhinged it’s so funny
10/10 would recommend. By the way, in season 1 I was bored for the first 4-5 episodes, but it was so worth it watching the show, it was amazing
