2:15 You got lucky and a farmer decided to harvest those carrots anyway. (Had you been less impatient you could unmark the crops for planting and wait for it to be harvested rather than trying to "levitate" it.) 9:55 No, you only need 20 gears, so you're just the one short. Water wheels have variable power depending on the flow of the current (cms). If you set a platform at high priority the game will now also set the platforms under it to high priority. (It previously used to set the platforms above it to high priority.) The potato storage isn't automatically displayed in the food menu because they need to be cooked first but also I don't think you have any storage for raw potatoes yet. (The grill actually has a lot of storage for its produce.) You are right that since your beavers were originally at at least +7 well-being (+20% life expectancy), when they got hungry it reduced their lifespan again. When this happens a beaver will die of old age rather than hunger. Now that you've removed that berry warehouse you could also delete the path to it and plant potatoes there.
I think it's more efficient to just leave your farms on planting priority. They'll still harvest all of your crops in between planting if that's what you're worried about. Otherwise, unless your control is perfect, you'll end up with tons of down time on your farms while you're waiting for them to grow.
Loving seeing the Beaves again! You need a 2x3 space for the spiral stairs, with the stairs up alternating on the long sides, and then you need to be able to exit into your housing stack on both sides. Squishing it into the corner like you have means you can only exit on one side. I think.
@@Tolakram The thinking, the reasoning for Your decision. I am convinced the harvest prioritization is better only when you know the crops will die anyway.
@@jonathanozik5442 It was a bit of a joke. I use logic in the real world, not much for games. :) Anyway I think I ran into the issue you talk about here which might be avoided if they are on planting.
Use Levies around the left side of the river to raise it to the level on the other side, then levy/ dam up by the water container to create a 2 level deep part of the river. Also you should've used the space behind the houses with platforms and pushed the houses back to create more space infront.
Where the stairs are for the housing block. Why didn't you put some extra houses in where the platforms are (former farm site) at ground and first floor level. Then turn the rooftop into a 2x3 stairwell for the remaining houses. If you choose to move the rooftop terrace, consider putting that over the other houses, so you get the full 5 set from the original housing

That staircase is so needlessly complicated. You could've just placed the stairs in that 1x1 space. You even had it highlighted there at one point!

I'm currently playing this map it's really fun
30:45 "Berry" carefully?
Going strong.
Can You explain Your logic with optimizing farming for harvest? To me It seems very detrimental.
Logic?
