Read my replies to others. You mimic the existing wiring and solder in the new jack. Plenty of TH-cam vids on that. Check out “Dave’s world of fun stuff” he’s one of my favorites but he’s much more on guitars than pedals. But he had a few good soldering vids of I recall.
Hey. When swapping from the 3.5mm jack to 2.1mm, what way did you wire it so as not to damage the circuit? Thanks
Mine had wires. Desolder them and solder the new one in. There’s plenty of TH-cam vids on replacing jacks and soldering/desoldering.
can you pls show us how you did it? I have a pedal with the same and need to change it to fit on pedal board without extra power supply

Or you can make a plastic sleeve to isolate the metal from chassis.
Sure, but that would be a PIA. Easier to get the right one and no worries about it grounding.
