HELP! I have a set of cerwin vegas E-712 models. Instead of finding an antiquated half melted or over priced replacement from gibson i upgraded. I got a set of EMB cx-10 1200 watt crossovers and tx-15 terminals. Took fabrication to mate them. I have switching jacks built in my E-712s i want to work. I don't know what i need or need 2 do. I'm at that point. All neatly wired. Labeled on the jacks. No idea where the new crossover wires go yet. I do know i can go ahead run my base wires. But my drivers and tweeter gotta be routed so the jacks can work. Little help?!
If I were to upgrade the internals of my microscopes led to handle 12 volts would the original 5 volt female jack work? Or are jack inputs interchangeable so as long as the polarity (center negative) is the same.
Yes and yes. But always check the voltage rating of the parts you're using. For example, the new part I installed has a rating of 24VDC at 5A. Always check the specs!
Where can I find that switch jack that you hate? I want to keep my pedal original and my DOD FX35 Octoplus I believe the jack is the problem of why its not working now. But I cannot find the damn things anywhere being my pedal is like 30 years old. Ebay doesn;t have them. Any ideas>? Also my pedal says it runs off a 9v battery at 10v? WTF? haha! New to this and just want to try to fix my old time pedal since its vintage.
