I'm going to try your recipe, I just have one question the seafood you added to the pot was a previous #MidnightCravings style boil??
Just boiled your crawfish (5 or 10 lbs) in a pot with just a cup of that dry crawfish season and a few lemons. Cook till the crawfish float to the top, add another 1 minutes and then cut the heat! Do your sauce ahead of time and just pour it over the seafood when it's time to shake them up in a plastic bag made for baking turkey. Just like they serve them at Boiling Crab.
Use corn starch just like gravy. 2 tablespoons of cornstarch to 1 cup water, stir until dissolves and slowly add into the sauce until thicken to your desire.
In the resturants they just add basic seasoning when cooking the seafood and then toss it in all that seasoning with butter, its gold for shrimp but crawfish somtime taste nasty inside cause of it
With crawfish it's a 2 steps process, you can't just boil crawfish in plain water or cook as is with butter. You have to boil crawfish like you normally would first and then cook them in garlic butter sauce or else they taste horrible.
It’s funny that the only Vietnamese part of this recipe is that it is made by a Vietnamese. I was expecting some nuoc mam or lemongrass. It looks appetizing regardless and I will give it a try today
Jeezz no wonder i get dizzy after i have crawfish from restaurants that do this kind of sauce. It taste good but its so bad for you so you cant have this all the time if you care about your health

Going to try it this weekend with just 2 added ingredients.
I use half the amount of Louisiana crawfish boil and 50% more lemon pepper, and I use Louisiana hot sauce. Very similar recipe. Great video

The lime leaves lend a unique flavor to the sauce. I suppose you can get away with a tbsp of grated lime zest?
