gr8 vid thanks. I have a graphics tablet M708 and I am planning to buy an sp5 soon and I have never used drawing tablets so I am wondering if the pen of the M708 is compatible with the sp so I can save paying the extra. Thanks
Thanks! No...the M708 pen is not compatible. However...to save money go with the Raphael 520 pen for the surface. Retails for about 50 bucks and is better for artists on the Surface(than the surface pen). Good luck!

Did you buy yours used or refurbished and from where? Looking into sp4 or sp5 for drawing, games like wizard 101, running obs studio. But also looking at iPad 10.2 for just drawing. Budget $400.
I actually traded the SP5 for an iPad pro 10.5(as I had a 12.9 iPad pro already). Yes...get the latest and greatest SP that you can afford. If you are an avid Ipad user...they have iPads with pencil support for like $250.00(pencil extra). I suppose you can find a good deal for like 4- 500 bucks. I had purchased my SPC for like just under 200 dollars a while back. It was still going strong when I sold it. I love that thing. Look around everywhere...I had found my Surface book on Amazon for like 550.00. Good luck!
@@MichaelClaridaArts never used an iPad or surface. Is even the 10.2 iPad worth it? Stuck between surface go 8gb or ipad 10.2 128gb storage for drawing? I have a laptop but want a stand alone tab as secondary device.
Glamrgrl104 go with the ipad10.2 with pencil support. It will change your life. The surface is great...but the Surface stylus has a ways to go and honestly...Procreate is so good. I have many machines...and I love my surfaces. But...the iPad for drawing is really hard to beat at that price point. If you can get a refurbished 12.9 iPad Pro...go with that. The larger drawing area is wonderful. The battery life is better as well. The only drawback with the IPad is the closed eco system and the fact it is harder to transport files and do pro level work. Is a surface book with 16GB ram, ITB SSB, 2GB Nvidia GTX 965M good for art, animation and music production in 2022?
Not if it is the original Surface book. It is older tech that runs very hot. I have that machine and it basically has baked the battery. Popped the screen off. Maybe a Surface book 3. Stay away from the 1st version of the Surface book….especially the i7 with a graphics card.

Does any flickering screen on pro5? .....I have bad experience on pro4 with that issue.
Yes it does...and my Lenovo...and my HP Zbook...and my Dell...and my SP 7. They all did it. It must Ben’s windows and Photoshop issue. Never does it in full screen. Weird.
Seems like you only have 4 GB RAM. Fresco requires a minimum of 8 😅 that might be the problem

Alin John go to XP pen website. They should have it there. I checked amazon but no luck. I think they quit carrying it.

I still use the free version. I believe it stopped being free version 8.6? Still works for me. But…yes. You can get a paid version on the MS store as well.
