First we get a NeiR Automata Anime and now Trails of Cold Steel Anime. What a great year this is turning out to be. The Anime I'm watching this year is based upon games I enjoyed.
Finally getting to see your most precious game series get something like an anime and the chance to get big recognition is a feeling unlike any others. I love this series so much, I got hooked from back in FC. I could possibly give Trails a lot of credit for being one of the reasons why I didn't walk away from gaming. when I got burned out on AAA sandbox action games awhile back. i tried a game that was a little different, and so glad I found my fav series.
@Slimane Azouzi cold steel 1 and 2 were great. 2 especially. But 3 and 4 made everything so cringy that I couldn't even finish 4. This anime looks very promising though.

Well, with what I can gather with my very short knowledge of japanese, "kiseki" means something like miracles, miracle, or miraculous. And I'd say some of the things that happen in Trails of Cold Steel 1-4 are similar to miracles.

I know he's not as experienced as the other divine blades but I think his ogre power sorta bridges the gap. Haven't played Kuro but I'm pretty sure I know who you're talking about as one of my friends is obsessed with her. Don't have much of an opinion yet.

Practically by the end of CS2, Rean is known as the Ashen Chevalier, a hero who assisted in ending the Civil War (the whole thing that CS2 is based on), he now assists in the military as an officer and would often partake in taking orders from the Imperial Government. This whole thing will happen until the beginning of CS3 and this anime covers the plot of the North Ambrian war that happens between CS2 and CS3.

It has to be widely adopted first, and for tech to be widely adopted, the population needs to have a good amount of disposable income on average. Even if orbments are literally magic, they're still made of finite resources like septium and metals. Liberl has a good mining industry and a well-developed engineering sector, which is what made them wealthy and prosperous. Erebonia and Calvard have massive amounts of land and industry. Remiferia has advanced medical science which they sell to other countries. Arteria receives funding from all over due to being the center of the Septian Church. Also the North Ambria region was economically devestated by an artifact turning massive portions of their land and infrastructure into salt. You would know this if you actually paid attention to the games, seriously.
Sara was confirmed long ago, voiced by her og seiyuu Megumi Toyoguchi. Don't think that Claire will have screentime tho, unless it's random very short cameo.

well, it is canon, since the anime tells us more on what happened to the northern war, more than what the game shows us (i also hope that the new characters introduced in the anime made a cameo in the game, like how they retconned juna and towa in the updated crossbell games.)

trails of cold steel is the best entry in all the legend of heroes series and my fav mc is hands down is Rean Schwarzer
