Sir, this is the most informative video I have found concerning the after market fix for the 'dead' battery issue with the switch. I just got my switch back from the dealer after they installed the parts as you discussed in this video. I am extremely happy with the solution you have presented. THANK YOU!!!!!!!
One of the best explanation videos by far I have seen. This was informative up until I couldn't see the wire hook up on the perco switch and where the Noco Gen 5 was hooked up on the battery. That is what I am trying to see how it is wired into the battery and the ground.
Mozambique, I had the same problem I was on the waiting list for over a year finally got the 21ft 240hp switch and 1 trip out great on the battery and start up, then 2nd trip about 5 weeks later sitting at the dock and BOOM, nothing no power, I did not leave anything on, so I was not going to let that ruin my day with 4 other buddies to go fishing. Ran up about 2.5 mile from the dock and picked up another battery, Then the next day took it straight back to my Sea-Doo dealer and exactly what you said the Amp and the Stereo problem. I did purchase the dual batteries that they offer, but they were waiting on parts before I picked it up and took it out. Now it's at the shop as we speak to put the dual batteries in, but now because of your AWESOMENESS of supporting others, I am going to have them put the same set up you have... Thanks for the information. And sorry about the long story...

I was out yesterday and ran into a gentleman with a 21ft Switch and I mentioned to him about the battery issue because he just received his Switch in November. He luckily received the 2023 model and hopefully BRP has fixed the issue! Thanks again Scott!

Great video! Nice clean install. Doesn’t it make you a little upset that Sea doo didn’t provide all of this with the boat? I have a 2011 Sea doo Challenger 210 SP and it came with a deep cycle battery and a battery selector switch, I want to add a second battery for accessories.
Problem with the switch is not a good power system, I run 5 batteries in my bass boat, granted 3 are just for the trolling motor. Supposedly Sea-doo is going to come out with a Switch Fishing model, I'd be interested in that.
Im assuming you had to pay for all this out of your pocket? Im picking mine up on Monday and wondering if i should tell them to fix this before I hit the water
Have you thought about installing a trolling motor and plug from the big battery? I am thinking about getting the 18' sport, but I need a trolling motor.
Have you had the new amp installed yet? I currently am having this issue as well I just took my battery to the dealer and they supposedly opened a case with BRP on the issue, I hope they resolve this soon. How long did it take to get an answer from BRP on this issue?
@@mozambiquedrill6443 I just purchased the EcoxGear stereo products. I bought the 2- 500 Watt Wireless Soundbar Extreme SEP26 and 2- Ecoxgear 500 watt ES08 500 Watt 8inch subs that are wired. They all daisy chain and can connect on Bluetooth. I installed a group 27 Marine battery and now I may need a battery isolator on top of the perco switch. It hits harder than that $5000 JL Audio but not sure about battery life yet.

Sorry for the late reply, yes they have replaced the radio amp and speaker. No issues since then!

It didn’t take long at all, it was maybe a week and a half or so
