Smart move. 12v came very long way over past 10 years we are very lucky to have simple and neat set up like this in Oz. I have 40amp charger and 2x lithium batteries and all the components ready to go. But need my troopy first (2 years wait exactly to the date) ‘Oh what a feeling’ 😂 Thanks mate. Love your work
hey mate, just stubbled across your channel, really good breakdown video mate. No bullsh** and just relevant information mate. I already watched a few videos regarding this box and i still learned something from your video. You just made me buy the itech box for my 300 lol
G'day mate, thank you for watching. That's bloody good feedback and I'm glad to hear it. I've had no dramas so far, and I love my set up. I also have a 12 volt install video, Cheers mate 🍻
Good setup for your canopy. For ignition wire in the new 70s I used the small power outlet box on drivers side under bonnet, there's 3 outlets, one is marked IGN, look under the cap. Opposite side to battery but a good option.
Love it Brother. Explained perfectly. Great knowledge on the product and well executed They definitely have their place being able to move them around. Looks like a great bit of kit. Got everything in one box 👌 Great Vid Brother. Looking forward to seeing the install 👌
Thankyou legend! Yeah I'm really keen on this set-up, it will suit me perfectly. Definitely not for everyone and their needs. But I reckon most could run something like this.
@@OutbackOffroadNT you got a really good price that’s for sure. I’ve been looking at the bluetti brand. I’m still in the research stage but see how It goes👍
Hi mate, Great video. I've been using the same battery box for a few months now and never had any issues. I've just run the plug and play wiring kit from itechworld today from the main battery in to the canopy and it seems to be charging well etc. Is there any risk of leaving the Anderson plug in the canopy capped off (and unplugged) when not in use or I have taken the battery box out to keep it out of the hot weather?
Definitely handy and sounds better then getting a dual battery setup. Let us know how you go with it as I'm looking at getting one as I do lot of bush work myself, going up and down arnhemland and Mt Bundy and so on 👍. Also, would you be able to do a 10 000km or 20 000km review on the toyos? Looking at getting 235/85/R16 as I got the factory landcruiser steelies sitting at home(non split rims) As always, keep the vids up bro!
Looks great, let us know if it's good or bad. In theory it's a great choice. Will you go with an itech world battery or another brand? I also appreciate the idea that you don't need to spend a brazillion dollars to have a good practical 12 volt system in your car. Spending is completely out of control. I look at some youtubers rigs and just can't believe how much money some people spend. Its almost like some people hate money so much they want to get rid of it as fast as humanly possible.
Cheers mate. I've got a full 12 volt canopy install vid using this battery box you might find handy. And I agree, I really love simple cost effective set ups.
Have me sold mate, I've been stewing on similair set up. Still waiting for my 4wd battery in my battery box to fail after 7years😅 still purring like last night solo camp. I need something to charge up my battery's while I drive on a longer trip and its all in one box nowdays.

I looked at Bluetti as well mate, they make some cool gear. There is so many options out there now.

Cool mate, I've been running it for a while now and no dramas, love the set up. You'll have no dramas doing that 👌
Great Video. Like the idea of it. Portable so you can take it out when it's not needed.
Thanks, exactly mate. I absolutely love the idea of these.
Do you have to manually change from solar to alternator. Or does it detect which one to use automatically?
itech world gear is very good quality and it will do the job

Yeah bloody oath mate I'll definitely be giving updates on this set-up, I'll also give a review on these Toyos for ya man 👍
Great video. Be good to see how it goes after 6 month or so. 👍👍
Cheers mate, yeah definitely. I'm really keen to test this gear out.
Keeping it simple is a good ideology. 👍
Definitely mate 👌
Following you mate, keen to see how it goes
Cheers mate, so far so good!
Hi mate, what size battery will you be running?
100 AH Lithium will be more then enough for me especially since pretty much all of those 100 AH are usable.
Sorry might have missed it, but can you charge up the battery via 240v (shore power) thanks for the vids .
Good question mate and I'm honestly unsure, from my understanding you've got the choice of alternator and solar charging. Thanks
