Welcome to another Episode of Ross Reviews AU on this weeks Video we review this 1983 Porsche 911 SC* & in 1983 this was the world's fastest production convertible! capable of reaching speed of over 140mph (225kph) this car was in showroom condition.. and almost everything was perfect on this car.. truly amazing to think its 38 years old... you really have to love the old school flat 6 air cooled engines from porsche.. they just sound so good and love to be rev'd.
Huge Thanks to Short Shift Speed Shop for letting us review this 911 SC.. it is currently for sale so click the link :)

This brings back many happy memories for me. I was lucky enough to grow up in a household where my mum had a 911SC manual coupe, which she even took to road rallies with me as her navigator. This is a sensational car and it's great to see one in such good condition.

@@zahemiazulislami2595 Thank you, yeah, it was unusual to have a mother who was the racey driver of the parents 😊 We were lucky with the car too. It was a used example at the time, but in great condition that she then kept for many years.

This car has tits. Only two, mind. Cats have about 10, and are much less expensive. You can't Drive one, but cat's handle better and offer 10 functional mammary glands in the female model.

What an immaculate car for it’s age! No big creases or cracks in the leather seats or dash. Even the engine bay looks great and so clean. I have a friend who imported a 1985 911 turbo from Japan in ‘06 , with a genuine 38K miles. He had the service history and sales receipt from new ( it was actually a California car as well, imported into japan by its last owner) . It also had a 964 update kit on it ( newer headlights bumpers & mirrors) . He converted here in Aus to RHD, but had to sell up in order to have enough to buy a house. It was my first and only Porsche experience, it’s truly a drivers car!

I used to prefer the whale tail or the standard rear spoiler but as I get a bit older I personally find a preference for the more classic and more streamlined lines of that era 911 without the rear spoiler, I have had couple of 911s and also an SC cabriolet , not seeing this car in person bit hard to state but on the video , it would appear as the best sc cabriolet that I have ever seen and better than my dark green one . Thanks for the video .

A beautiful car, looks to be in mint condition, inside & out👌. The power of the car you reviewed looks manageable, add a turbo or two & thing's start to get a bit sketchy (RUF, Bisimoto).

New shift coupler bushings should improve the looseness and there are also a few aftermarket options to get it tight and “gate-like”. Some people also upgrade to newer 911 transmission.

Nice car, although I prefer a coupe.
In a properly set up early 911, it all comes together on a race track-you see what they are really designed for...
    I went for a ride in a race '70s 911 RS, wow..
A road car like this would have been even more impressive when you consider its competitors in the early 80s in Australia- 308 Ferrari, Brock Commodores, 535i M BMW, that's about it!

4K isn't just the camera though. Suddenly everything else you have needs to be 4k, including GoPro's and the drone. Plus your editing PC will be hit harder during editing, and the files require 4x as much storage space. I'm faced with a similar issue, bit I'm not convinced 4k is that big of a deal when most people watch on their phones!
