    Much like how Spider-Man has a Spider Sense, Bullseye has a Girlfriend Sense. The moment Matt gets a girlfriend, Bullseye's Sense starts to tingle, and he's like "Oh boy. Here I go killing again."

    I'm surprised that Bullseye's throwing ability was secondary in this video. It's all I remember about the character. I thought he was a mutant for a couple decades. Flicking a toothpick to kill a man at 100 yards is way more than just "accurate." It's superhuman.

    • @mr.c9820
      @mr.c9820 6 ปีที่แล้ว +35

      yeah. thats not how accuracy works. same with the paperplane thing. Id like the toothpick thing better if it didnt break the glass. just a perfect toss through an open window

      Same, but Ricochet is still very deadly..
      Especially a very well timed one..
      I like the simple aspect of his killings hiding behind something that's actually extremely complex..
      A slightly detailed explanation to the impossible would lighting up the disbelieve in his work..
      But then again, Daredevil exists lol..

    • @bryanlam3412

      The best method to kill someone with a toothpick (assuming you don't have super strength) would most likely be to give them a TOPI injury (Trans-orbital penetrating intracranial injury) through or around the eye, since there is only a thin layer of bone a few millimetres thick protecting the brain. Either way would be very difficult to penetrate with a toothpick, even with pinpoint accuracy, due to its minimal mass and brittleness, the toothpick would have a higher chance of snapping on impact or being stopped by the eyeball rather than getting into the victim's brain. Anyhow, this is a comic book character we are discussing, so no point in accuracy to real life.

    Correct, Bullseye folded a paper plane and threw it from the building across the street. It breaks through the glass window and stabs the guy in the neck, killing him.

    I love Bullseye! He's such an interesting psychopathic assassin, and Dark Avenger. I always thought that he could be a great villain for Hawkeye
    as well. His skills are just perfect as a foil to Hawkeye. Otherwise, I believe the definitive Bullseye interpretation is Netflix's Daredevil Season 3. It
    took numerous stories Bullseye told over the years and put them all together. Plus, despite all his horrible actions. He was still sympathetic as a
    character cause he's so mentally ill, and actually loved someone he tried to have a "normal" life with. Wilson Bethel is the perfect Bullseye.
    Anybody who for some reason hasn't seen DDS3, you all gotta check it out. Can't wait to see where they're going with Season 4's enhanced
    Bullseye.

    given the time he DID wear Daredevil's costume and given what you learn about the character, his skillset, his personality, Bullseye to me is - and always shall be - that strange hybrid of The Joker/Reverse-Flash to Matt's Batman/Flash. He is an opposite, a negative image, yet completely insane and sees the world through that chaotic lens. Yet like Reverse-Flash, he's narcissistic to ridiculous degrees. It's just a pity not many IN the books have taken advantage of the fact that Bullseye very much is an Evil Daredevil in many respects. DD can fight at range but prefers close range/Bullseye can fight at close range, prefers long distance; both have wicked tempers and shitty childhoods; Bullseye can globe trot but always comes back to New York and fixates on the Red Man just like Daredevil has been almost everywhere in Marvel but always comes back to Hell's Kitchen; one has questionable sanity whilst the other is gleefully insane; one is known to fight without sight, the other has such a keen eye that he almost never misses; Red suit (shadowed in black), Black-Blue suit with white trim. It's all there.

    Bullseye has had some fairly ridiculous power creep over time. Originally he's a normal human who happens to be a really good shot. Over time he gains magical powers to never miss and turn any projectile into a lethal object from any distance or angle.

    Nice recap of one of my favorite villains. F.y.i. Rob your voice is good because it's like captivating in a mysterious and thriller like way, sort of like Darth Vader or Vincent Price (except when you giggle or laugh thereby diminishing the effect of the story). Use your voice for that (take it seriously and stop laughing). Much success.

    Am I the only one who absolutely loved Bullseye in the 2003 movie? He was just so memorable and Farrell was having a ball throughout the movie, it was very entertaining. That opening of him throwing darts while drinking beer as The House Of Pain was playing in the background was a great introduction.

    I got an obscure character for you that would make for a short video...(Marvel Comics)...Danger Man...aka. Dan Jermain. Created by Dan Slott for She-Hulk, volume 1 issue #2 (2004). Pretty much a one and done character, his story was funny, sad, and a refreshing change from super powers equals hero/villain origin. I was inspired by this story of a man who got super powers from an industrial accident and it ruined his life because he just wanted to be a father and husband not a super hero. I always hoped for more stories based around this character with such potential but alas nothing came of it. If nothing else it would be a good read for you. Thanks fer listening.

  • @nikomiller
    @nikomiller 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    You got a few things wrong. O'Neil didn't write Daredevil until AFTER Frank Miller. McKenzie was the one who started to make Daredevil a bit darker, and Frank Miller took it to the next level after he took over. McKenzie was fired by O'Neil who was the editor at the time of his run, you said McKenzie was the editor. You said issue #169 was by O'Neil when it was in fact written by Miller. Basic fact check.
    You say that Bullseye never appeared in Frank Miller's run after the roulette issue because he wanted to write him out of the story. The roulette issue was the last issue of his run, so it would be kinda hard for Miller to include him. After that he only came back for a few individual issues, Born Again, Love and War graphic novel and Man Without Fear origin story.
    Also, it would be cool if you could mention Brubaker's run and Lady Bullseye, some of the best stories with Bullseye in them. Also Karen Page's death is probably his second most iconic moment after Elektra's death.

    Honestly, I liked the origin story he had in the old Marvel character encyclopedia. He started out as a pitcher, joined the military, became a sniper, then learned the martial art that teaches pressure points. He doesn't have to unfold the paper clips, he can bounce them off your chest and kill you. Heck, he killed someone with a pie to the face once.

      Lost Age Comics That fight was hilarious with Deadpool. I found it fascinating that pitting them being that Deadpool is suppose to be in the end all be all in assassins. Bullseye is no joke. My favorite was Bullseye fight with the Punisher. That fight was so epic. Bullseye was able to deduce Punisher psychology of his family’s death, simply by the way Frank fought. I hope that he goes after Frank in the Netflix Punisher as well. And please don’t kill him off!!!!!!!!!!
