As a previous owner of deathadders i always loved the shape of them definitely one of my favourite designs.
I bought the original deathadder and it was my longest lasting mouse when that one broke after a few years. I bought another deathadder the mice build still felt good however the mouse didn't even last 1 year and i didn't have the patience to RMA it so i purchased another one and that one broke with in a year as well. So i bought 1 last one broke in 6 months, at that point i gave up on razer. Every product I've had or gifted to people has broken ever since they brought back the chroma versions of the deathadder. I worked in a computer retail store as well and razer does not have a good reputation for the workers because how much razer products needs to be RMA'd

SeN927 For me, it is quite the opposite. I bought the razer tarantula in 2010 and replaced it this year, because I wanted a mechanical keyboard, but the tarantula still works. I also owned the boomslang for around 5-10 years and then replaced it with the mamba in 2015. The boomslang still works and I still use the mamba. For me razer makes one of the most reliable products I have ever owned, but I take a lot of care and clean my keyboard and mouse regularly.

My Razer Viper's scroll wheel kept getting stuck. I've RMA'd it twice, got fed up, and replaced it with a Model O instead. It's simply bizarre because my budget G203 and DA Elite never had any problems. I'm not telling people to refrain from buying the Viper though, because it's really good. Just be gentle with the scroll wheel, and maybe replace the mouse feet later on.

    • @jcross1215
      @jcross1215 4 ปีที่แล้ว

@@simonbru1299 It really depends on what type of player you are. Are you a chill gamer that just wants a comfortable mouse, or do you like competitive titles where you want to aim your best? If you game lightly, just get the DA V2 or Glorious Model D. If you're competitive, get something that you can fingertip or claw grip. Palm grip is usually not as good for aiming.

Honestly I just love the fit and feel in my hand the most but all the other grades really make it a quite nice mouse. The optical switches in right and left mouse buttons do feel different though, the previous iterations all had mechanical up to this point. I wouldn't same "squishy" but they do have a "softer" feel. Less bite and not as loud. I am overall happy with their mice and glad to continue on with them for mice.

Buy a roll of Lizard Skins 0.5mm DSP Bat Grip, peel the original rubber grips off entirely and use them as a template to cut new ones out of the Lizard Skins grip. Use some rubbing alcohol to clean up any adhesive residue off the mouse and stick your newly cut grips on where the originals came off. Traveled with it, threw it, slammed it, the braiding on the cable essentially fell off but it still worked. Only recently did it break and I just had to buy the deathadder v2 because there is nothing that can replace the feel of the deathadder. The shape, size, positioning, simplicity; it's all there. It's not over complicated like most other mice on the market with useless grooves, adjustable weight or 10 to 12 buttons. It's simple, sleek and it more than does the job. Turly the best gaming mouse on the market.

I had the original DeathAdder (I might still have it, it's around here somewhere). It was a great mouse, lasted quite a bit. I was then gifted a Mamba shortly after it came out for Christmas by my parents. That was a great mouse but it didn't last two years. After that, I bought my current mouse, the DeathAdder from a few years ago. It's still going strong, very comfortable, reliable, and clean looking. I don't like a lot of design "action" on my stuff (outside of lighting), and this thing is great. I currently run Corsair heavy, from fans to RAM to keyboard and mousepad (all RGBed up of course), BUUUUUT I don't think I will go Corsair mouse for a while. Nice review! You guys do the best ones around, I built half my PC with yours in mind :) I bought the Deathadder v2 about a week ago, after reading some reviews, I thought about giving it a shot, and man, I didn't miss.
The shape is great, I do claw and fingertip grip with a hand of 18,5x11cm and is absolutely amazing, it fills up your palm without being bulky, along with the perfect weight for the size.
I've been using a Steelseries Rival 300 for 4 years, and this upgrade made my precision almost 2 times better in competitive FPS (BF5) and I felt it since minute one.
For the ones that like big mices and have medium and large hands, this is the one (IMHO).

I've had my Deathadder elite for about 3 years now and I've always loved it. I am looking to replace it because it is old and been abused over the years. I am very interested in the V2 because of how favorable the elite is to me. This video set me on it and I'm gonna order one. Especially after seeing the response time on those clicks. 10/10 will always recommend something in the Deathadder series.

Personally owned the Deathadder v1, Deathadder elite, Deathadder v2 and the Mamba wireless (supposed to be the DeathAdder wireless Equiv)
Always loved the shape and the weight definitely did not hold me back.
As the mice got lighter and the mousepads got smoother, it becomes harder to control.
However, turning down the sensitivity easily fixes the "issue" and allows for a more comfortable experience.
Very fast and responsive mouse. Wouldn't use any other mouse.
The only issue I had up to the Deathadder elite was the rubber grip falling off after a couple months of constant use.
The Deathadder V2 fixed this by having it built into the mouse instead of removable.

I have the deathadder v2 and it's honestly a superb mouse. The sensor is really really good and that combined with the newer feet and lighter weight compared to the deathadder elite makes for a better experience especially in fps games. I had the deathadder elite before this mouse and I had it for about 4 years and that is also an amazing mouse but the rubber grip on the side started to peel off which I heard a lot of people had problems with. I've had the v2 for a couple of months now and I haven't had any problems with it so far and as of when I post this the price is around 60 bucks for it (atleast in sweden) and that is such a good price for what you get with this mouse. I would say if you are thinking of buying a new mouse you should concider the deathadder v2.
