People always say I'm a "Ford guy" because I've had about 6 mustangs, plus a couple parts cars. My very first one out of high school in 2004 was a Dove grey (the correct Dove grey) 87 Lx converted to mass air with a GT40 crate (b cam) with like 8k miles on it, 4.10 gears, lowered, with a trick flow upper and lower, and tuned all Installed at a Toyota dealership where the guy that owned it was a manager. I ended up messing up a lifter bore so I put in a built 306 which my buddy forgot to put the oil shaft in and wiped the bearings after 20 mins of running.
I then bought a low compression 331 stroker built for boost for $1500 from my buddy because he felt bad and even untuned running approx. 25 or more degrees of timing and I beat the crap out of it for 8 years with no issues and it ran low 12 on pump gas. I then bought a nicely painted 87 GT and put the 331 in there.
After I sold the painted car, I then bout a 98 cobra vert (forest green) with a vortech v1 on it and bought another nitrous LX with a built 306. The cobra and that LX burned in a garage fire but luckily the cobra motor was in the shop being built. I found a 03 cobra shell with 4.30 gears, Detroit locker, sub frames, tubular k member with 63xxx miles, chrome 18in fr500s, primered ready for paint and the interior was a surprising 9/10 and I am now putting the built, forged, polished and ported, arp everything 98 cobra teksid in the 03 cobra with a 84mm turbo. It will be a street car, with a 50 shot and looking to run 700hp on low boost (12 psi), and 900+ on kill mode (20+psi) with race gas).
I had a 98 Lincoln mark Viii too but I'd say I'm more of a 🐎 guy and not a Ford guy. Luckily my first car was built because I would've never been able to buy all those parts and in later years before I had kids, I had a bit more "coin" to waste.
I live there and I always go to the car shows they have there at that parking garage on i-drive. It’s absolutely amazing, and the owner is an amazing guy!!!
An RTR spec 5 in Blue ember with laser yellow accents is my dream car.

Finally it went into the wheels tires suspension lol. The mustang has alwys been a Clydesdale horse pulling a pak of cigarettes but now let’s focus on keeping this pony in a straight line and we might have something here. Lol no more car meets where everyone holds their breath and runs away when a mustang pulls up to make its grand exit. 😅
