It is so wholesome and refreshing to learn that Max is indeed human like the rest of us. It was so enjoyable to see an F1 champion completely out of his depth, and really makes you appreciate the two different disciplines.
Honestly, I cannot wait to see Max trying out other motorsports like GT3 or LMP series. He seems like a guy who loves to experience a car and I think he should give himself every reason to try other things than just F1

@@michael5455 karting also helps, but thats really not the impressive part, the impressive part is jumping into a foreign platform, learning how the platform works, and also being able to control it and do all that with little error, its a little bit more than just that he could drift, rather drifting a machine of a car with no prior knowledge and just being able to really dial in, pretty impressive

Took that guy 10 minutes to realize that Max could be the man in drift if he wanted to.
@Caleb-kn2fw I’m good bud. Thanks tho.
“That guy” xDDD
I love Max's attitude of learning and listening other drivers in completely different "offices" than his. He did the same when he jumped in the V8 Supercar last year. Extremely humble for a 2.5 times F1 World Champions. Mike is just a beast behind the wheel tho
Feeling these revs he certainly felt comfortable in this new habitat from the moment he hit the throttle. Max you got this!!
Max is just phenomenal. Although He never drifted before that's some very nice drifting. He's just too good.
Alah Who is that. What are you talking about. Workshop?? New red Bull driver?
@Caleb-kn2fw i am atheist..
@@f1.shxrpy😂😂😂💔
@Caleb-kn2fw why should i worship anyone? The people i worship are my parents, my brothers, my dearest friends and anyone who was an example in my life. Why would I worship a random stranger?
It is so wholesome and refreshing to learn that Max is indeed human like the rest of us. It was so enjoyable to see an F1 champion completely out of his depth, and really makes you appreciate the two different disciplines.
almost shocking how fast he learns and adapts his skillset
you can see in his eyes how competetive he is and that he really tries to get 100%
Honestly, I cannot wait to see Max trying out other motorsports like GT3 or LMP series. He seems like a guy who loves to experience a car and I think he should give himself every reason to try other things than just F1
The sparkle in their eyes and the huge smiles say’s it all. No words or explanation needed... just wow, i absolutely love it!
It's truly astonishing to consider that Mike, of all people, would find himself in the company of an F1 world champion. If I had ever entertained such a thought before, I would have likely burst into laughter. The journey Mike has taken, from his humble beginnings to his current position, is nothing short of remarkable
they've probably met before, honestly. maybe at something like goodwood or another promotional event red bull attends
Dudes been at it for awhile, i saw him once in 2009 in japan. The announcers loved the 4 rotor 👍🏻
True story, his journey is amazing and to end up being one of the few people on the planet that can teach Max something about driving is off the charts. I had a wee "Go NZ!" moment.
I do not think Max sees himself as a person everyone needs to recognize as a champion and people should look up to that. He is Dutch, so he probably would feel very weird if people are honored to meet him. He will ask you to 'doe normaal' I think.

Max and Mad Mike was not on my Bingo card, but iam so happy its happened. So good to see Max pick up a new discipline of driving and of course he made it look easy, wish i was even half that good first time i went drifting
if he joins drifting, he gets to be mad max
those splitscreen views of the car and the cockpit just look amazing, Red Bull always produces great videos.
How did he just do that? He really is a generational talent. 👏👌😎
@Caleb-kn2fw Muhammad is a pedophile.
He had sex with Aisha when she was 9 years old and still played with dolls.
So Muhammad had sex with pre pubescent girls when he was 54.
It’s all over the Hadith and Quran.
Muhammad is the most obvious false prophet there ever was.
But be careful, if you leave Islam the penalty is death!
What a brilliant way to keep people in a false religion through fear. Not truth.
The dude is a fast learner ...... A champion who can do well with any vehicule with wheels .... Hat down Max....love u man
Mike is such a great teacher, all enthusiasm and positivity.
Max’s adaptability is honestly insane
Max killed it! After sorting out his initial shifting issues, he picked it up very quick.
Indeed, he’s something else

Love the vibe between them too !
The twinkle in his eye after the first set of successful donuts.... Magical to see someone with this kind of skill level in a car have that reaction to something new. He is human after all!
Magical!
Honestly I was never a Max fan...but I'm warming up to him for sure. Talented without a doubt!
He was talking shit about you last week. How do you feel now?
@@esdrasmanrique6457it was not about him, but you.
Seeing max master a drift car this quickly shows he can definetley do alot of other things.
Never knew Max was so humble, absolutely loved this
This was insane. Max was able to handle the first two challenges on the second try and the third challenge more or less at his third try? That’s innate car control for ya.
its not innate, its thousands of hours behind a wheel, no luck or innate talent is getting you that skilled without working as hard as him, if youre good enough to drive an f1 car you definitely understand enough about cars to control an oversteer and in turn drift, any f1 driver put in a drift car could probably do this cos theyve all spent countless hours behind a wheel developing a relationship with cars 🤔
@@michael5455thousands of hours doing anything but going sideways, go's completely against any f1 drivers life. Maybe not hakkinen 😂
It is impressive but I doubt the whole day had 4 runs, I'm sure there was practice

LETS GOO, Max has always shown hes interested more than just F1, this could actually be a Netflix series of him taking on/learning different disciplines of motorsport. 🎉🎉 excellent work Red Bull team and Max! Dakar Rally next?
you don't need Netflix when you have Max Verstappen

Mike's energy and enthusiasm is just the best, its infectious, good to see max have a bit of fun!
Next up, Rally!
His father Jos Verstappen is in rally at the moment and not doing too bad at all. So Max should have some rally genes in him, I guess. 😉
The possibilities are endless. But this is the greatest thing to watch! Max with big angle and seat time would make a beast!
Keep the content coming. How talented is an f1 driver. It’s wild how fast he picked up basics.
Redbull, tell your marketing team that they are goated.

Max really is a natural, I want to see the guy succeed in as many disciplines as possible.
can i habe de pusi pls?
im rewatching this vid rn cs i cant get it off my head literally max is a very fast learner AAAAAAAAAAA he's like doing it so effortlessly.
Max can drive anything to perfection, what an incredible driver 🔥
he's so incredibly relaxed. Also, based on watching this, it seems like there's no way he hasn't at least mucked around with drifting in a sim
Ofcourse he probably has, but if i drive an F1 car in a sim it doeent mean i know how to do it irl does it? Max clearly has a super natural feel for it but you could clearly see he hasnt done it before in real life like this...
@@seb9940 sim racing transfers more easily to real life than real life does to sim racing. there are many such cases of a good sim driver getting in a car and kicking ass, just like the simulations. it doesn’t cover everything but i think it gets you over 80% of the way there.
It helps that it was low speed drifting but regardless he wouldn’t be where he is now if he couldn’t learn that quickly.
@@adamjensen8112 That's sounds interesting. I don't know how to drive, never needed a car. Maybe I'll try sim driving.
@@seb9940 eh, there are multiple cases of sim drivers managing to do anything they could do in their sims in real life.
Mad Max and Mad Mike together? This oughta be interesting. It's amazing how quickly Max picked it up. He learns from the mistakes from the first run so fast. It's crazy.
Max be learning how to drift between laps as a side quest 😂
I love how Mad Mike is just pure kiwi chill attitude. He seemed over the moon that Max was the only person to drive his special FD.
So fun!
You can see he’s a real pro, eyes pointed where he wants to go and the hands naturally follows.
First he was a F1 champion, then a Sim-Racer, then a Podcast Host and now a Drifter. Honestly, I don’t know where this will go next😂
He’s actually a full time sim racer
full commitment, part time ;) full time paid pro sim racers are racing with him@@wqasdfew
nah he was a full sim racer first, then f1 champion then a Podcaster now drifting
Ah wait did we forget he races in f1 😅

max mike is the duo we never knew we needed
Just amazing to see that Mike is having fun and Max is just hyperfocused on learning another skill!
Just goes to show the level of skill Max has not just with F1 cars, but motorcars in general! Great vid!
