This was an amazing video! I am going this August and it helped me decide on a few stores! I mainly collect English cards, could you recommend some stores that offer cards in English? ( I will visit Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto)
Thanks so much! Actually you will find it extremely difficult to find English cards at all. 99% of cards for sale will be Japanese in every city. Have fun though!!
Whilst there’s definitely fewer shops, overall the variety, quality, and price of the cards are better. I was seeing higher end cards, and more recent cards for lower prices. They have less stores of course, but this isn’t a bad thing. It makes things easier to manage and Osaka is also generally a lot quieter. I like Akihabara, but my preference is Osaka. You can find old cards in so many stores. 😃
Thanks for the vid! Will be in Osaka soon so will be sure to hit up all these shops!
@@austinfranklin8400 My pleasure! The best place for cards in my opinion, so enjoy!! ☺️
I’m literally at the airport going to Osaka and I want Pokémon cards, this is a great shop for me to buy booster boxes, thank you!

How’s the variety, prices as well as number of shops over there compared to Akibahara? Any worth noting shops for say old cards etc?
