Heij! I just wanted to chime in because I very much appreciate Your works, I think we all do (at least I hope so). It is honorable, fundamental work. America needs people like You, small shops that do mighty work. You care about every piece, You´re rightfully proud and You make things possible that otherwise wouldn´t happen. I don´t know any foundry in a 150 km radius around my home, that´s how bad it is- and Germany is tiny against the States. I just wanted to encourage You to keep at it, I wish more people woud care. But what can you do with them blue haired gender students… Kind Regards
I presume the patterns are 3D printed but I don't see any of the layer lines that one usually sees on prints. How were the patterns finished - sanded and painted?
love your videos, been a sub since the tally ho capstain project thanks to keith rucker! would you be interested in making replicas of cast iorn legs made by beaver power tools, aka callander foundry?they made them in the late 1940's and the company is long gone. they are about 2 ft long, quarter circle in crosssection, maybe 1/4" thick and have flanges on the inside to make a set of four into a powertool base/cabinet
Hi Clarke, about 2 years ago John from FarmCraft101 TH-cam channel poured a smaller cannon and had to combat a few issues I'm sure you will face also, it might be worthwhile watching his playlist on his project, (if you haven't already) I hope your, results of the surgery pathology are leaning strongly to got it all? Clark your sense of humor is awesome. Maybe some people don't get it, but I do. Makes me smile.
You need to get your floor leveled so we can see more than your cap. Lol Great video. Thanks.
🤣
Every time you use that camera angle it reminds me of the neighbor Wilson in Home Improvement.
Now that you mention it, oh my goodness, it does.! Wilson Wilson...😊
I grew up in Vicksburg! It’s a beautiful place!!
