Welcome back all you awesome People . I hope you've had an amazing week. Today I do my biggest Motor and turns out to be TH-cam's biggest motor melt as well. A huge amount of copper bars and a massive addition to the stack. So sit back relaxing enjoy the video and hope to see you all on the next one or possibly an old one you missed. Have a great day and speak with you all soon👋🏻😆
You soon may have to enlarge that treasure room of yours, with more huge melts like today and the room will get so full. Love your dogs too, summer coming and they like it. 👍💪✌
If someone had told me years ago I'd be up every Friday hours before sunrise to watch an Australian man melt stuff, I'd have said they were nuts. Yet here I am. AGAIN.
Согласен с тобой дружище ❤ привет из ₽@бzïянского брехлопутинистана🎉 мы наверное очень несчастные люди, если смотрим на хобби других😢 а не живём своей собственной жизнью😮
Not only the tear down and the melts, I also appreciate the many hours you must spend sitting at your computer to edit these videos in such an entertaining manner. Thank you for that.
Random comment for the man himself: yesterday I was on a low mood and constantly thought "there's nothing really satisfying me anymore" and this video gave me something to shake the bad thoughts off. Now I'm doing way better - keep on keepin' on, mate!
Thanks for a great time. Wow 4 days and not a beer in sight😅 Neat old motor. Hope your hands are better, gloves are good. Great time with the dogs. Hello to Mrs Stack. Thanks again for all the effort.
Cheers for the super thanks mate, much appreciated👊🏻😁. I can assure you there was a few beers on the teardown happening. I just forgot to show the cheers for some reason just didn’t cross my mind as I locked in on getting this tear down finished. Cheers again buddy have an awesome weekend
I'll never forget that this guy personally replied to my email with so much detailed information about metal melting and also a discount code for my proudly owned Devil-forge. You're the best 😁
Every week we put your videos on the big screen and I sometimes narriate them as if you're cooking something (like copper wires are noodles, the bars are loads of bread, filled crucibles are soup, etc) and we just have a wonderful time lol, it's one of the highlights of our week! Especially seeing the two little puppers! They're so precious it's my favorite! Anyway, random comment over, hope I gave you a smile and have a great week!
I really appreciate how you treat the animals that visit the workshop - pests and birds alike. I’ve been working in animal rescue for the better part of 5 years, and this attitude is not the usual. Thank you for being gentle to the world around us 💕
At 31:26 you politely asked for comments. Well , I've been watching every week for two years or so. It's very relaxing in a strange way. Creative, hard work, yes, but very rewarding in so many ways. Your videography is top notch. Keeping up on the nature around you, the monkeys,😉 it all adds to the reason you're so loved. Keep it coming please. We all live to see next week!
I love watching your videos. I wait for Friday videos every week. Sounds silly to wanna watch a guy melt metal, but somehow it is very relaxing. You work hard to get it done. Great place shows that off. Love seeing the cute little monkeys. That's the best part of the video, but I do love to see a good copper. Melt nothing like that beautiful coloring. Thank you for taking the time to share your wonderful videos with us.❤
Epic sledgehammer saga, this motor dissection was really fascinating. There was a lot of history in that motor, the craftsmanship was incredible it was built to last. Thank you for the awesome video 😊
There's a company remanufacturing all Crompton (he bought out Parkinson many years ago) classic motors-- located 12 miles from the Crompton factory today! These were so well built this motor could have been rehabilitated for modern efficiency very easily today! Quality! Timeless! Nothing today built to last like this.
I love how you always show what's going around you in the environment when you're working. I always look up to see planes and helicopters flying above me so it really makes me feel like I'm in my backyard doing some work during the summer. Amazing relaxing content for autumn and winter.
I'll second that. I do suspect that Bigstack's subs and views have gone a long way toward that new house and all the new toys, too... happy wife, happy life.
That being said these are perfect videos to fall asleep to, usually long enough for a sleep timer on the tv without risk of a random video waking me up after it finishes
Over the last year I've enjoyed watching what can be melted down and repurposed. It's actually what interested me and my son to look at getting into melting down copper and aluminum as a father/son bonding time. Thank you from Southern Alberta Canada
The plate with the schematic on the reverse is so beautiful. These days they just slap on a sticker. Glad you blessed the plate with white detailing. Lovely!
Your diligence is amazing to watch. It's hard to comprehend how much time all of this takes. Not just the work it self, also camerawork and editing. Hats off Mr.Stack. Best wishes from Vienna, Austria.
just wanted to take a moment to thank you for all the incredible videos you create! Your in-depth and detailed content on melting metal is truly fascinating and has taught me so much. I’ve always been curious about the science and techniques behind metalworking, but your channel has really brought everything to life in a way that’s both informative and entertaining. The way you break down the complexities of different metals, their properties, and the melting process is amazing. Your passion for metallurgy is contagious, and it’s clear how much effort you put into each video. What I admire most is the patience you show in not only showcasing the science behind melting metals but also in documenting the process from start to finish. It’s not just the results that are fascinating, but the journey you take us on in each of your videos. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise with us. I’m looking forward to watching more of your awesome content!
Worth every minute of the feature length meltdown. So much to learn beyond forging. You've got avian interaction education, proper botanical management, and I've been thinking about ways to strip a motor like this without killing myself.
Awesome video today! New title for you, friend: BEASTstackD. The prep looked exhausting. Getting the rotor freed just have felt like delivering a rhinoceros baby. What a metal haul this one was!
It's very strange because it's certainly relaxing to see this kind of video where another man has to do a job that would really stress me out if I had to do it. I really love this channel.
I was excited to see a long video this week. I love what you do. I haven't missed a single video and don't intend to. I'd be sad if you ever stopped doing this. I do miss seeing you feed the boys treats. I enjoyed that. I love your compassion for animals and insects... even the creepy spiders. Your video is something to look forward to at the end of a long week. Thanks for the entertainment. Keep it up bub!!😊 Have a lovely week. Love your biggest fan for life!
BigStackD is a super hard-working TH-camr. The amount of physical stamina & labor that went into this video is impressive, esp. the part where he's swinging a sledge to separate the rotor from the stator. You clearly work hard for the money (and like/subscribes).
Good Morning MATE this one has been a long time coming looking good so far have a great weekend everyone 😊😊😊😊 this is the best way to start the weekend CHEERS AND ENJOY A COLD ONE AFTER THIS MELT YOU EARNED IT MR D
Thanks for the video, I did the same thing 26 years ago, I just didn’t turn the copper into bricks back then. It was my side job, something I did every day after I came home from my main job. I worked at a scrap metal yard. Greetings from the Czech Republic! 👍
I watch your videos off and on a lot. But honestly love them whenever I do watch them. Love the content man keep up all the hard work. From a random college student in the US 🫶
Great ad to the stack. Fun video. What a massive motor!! And i think it came apart quite easy to be that old. Gotta love those flatheads. Always fun to watch you strugle. And I like those wrincels on the bars.
The thieving magpie is a well known story, but on this channel, the magpies are so well behaved that they walk right up, and accept a snack right out of your hand!!
Your videos are always shot and edited so wonderfully! Also you got me into smelting! I've only done aluminum cans and copper wire so far. But having loads of fun!
Thanks for watching, mate! And cheers for the super thanks I really appreciate it and I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos enough to donate. Have yourself an awesome day and thanks again my friend👊🏻😁.

I’ve been watching you for years and I think I’ve only commented once back when you’d still talk but I’ll do it again… thanks for the melting videos, you’re the only and best melter on TH-cam
BigstackD! Always a good start to my weekend with a melt video. In the wires I've been stripping, I had what I thought were aluminum, but in fact were tin coated copper. I hand-melted a few and was surprised when they had a copper look. Where I work I have access to a metal testing machine and the result from tin coated copper, at least with wiring, is a tin-bronze of 95% copper, 5% tin, or roughly the same bronze used in older US pennies/cents. This may vary with a heavier copper wiring. Anyway, thanks for the tip sheet D, I'll have my first actual melt tomorrow (Sunday Nov 17)!
Cheers my friend much appreciated. Yes I’ve got a little bit of room left on my back so I really need to get my friend to come over and tattoo the rest of me 👌🏻😁

This… I don’t want to know how long it takes to edit these, but they’re all amazing
I agree, but a great big thanks to MrsD for putting up with him.
