If your having issues with your PS4 heating up and the fan constantly running, I found that if you elevate your PS4 about 2 inches up off the platform it sits on helps cool it down faster. I used a couple of DVD's stacked on each side to prop it up. BTW this is no joke, it really does work.
I just have a fan it sits in the fan holds the ps4 and holds the psvr charges all the controllers at once but yours is better I can guarantee that because the fan isn’t cheap

@Mori-Bryan Jin I have another other solution it worked for me. i have tried what you are saying even open the top cover of ps4 to cool it down but didn't work for me so i opened my ps4 and open it through the heatsink and i cleaned all the dust stick on the heat sink it is best way to keep fan voice low and after that it doesn't even over heat only thing is that you have to clean it every 3 to 4 month coz dust will come again.

As a minor precaution, I'd just say that some mobile chargers can be a petty nuisance to utilize as a DS4 Charger/Connector (to fx PC). I occasionally connect my DS4 stick to the PC for games optimized for controllers, like Dark Souls. I've always had a problem with how loose the cord is connected to the DS4. If i lie my PS4 stick down on the floor, it'll just disconnect because of how mediocre the mobile charger solution is.
To be honest, as soon as I got my ps4, I've always used a phone charger on my controllers. Kinda made sense due to the fact my phone is a Sony. The only phone to not use micro USB is iPhone, but iPhone is terrible compared to android anyway.

Aside from Brazil, in the Philippines where I live, there are stores that actually encourage you to jail-break your PS4 and get over 10-15 pirated games.
You can also replace the PS4 HDD for an SSD if you really wanted to. I did it a couple years ago and my PSN account is still not banned so don’t worry. If you need a tutorial on how to do it I think Linus tech tips has one.
The USB thing is common knowledge for anyone who knows what the U stands for. Interesting side fact, if you have a phone data transfer cord, you can use that as well as a few software programs to use the DS4 controller as a gamepad on computers that don't have Bluetooth, while having the controller remain linked to the console as soon as you unplug it.

Just a heads up about using a phone charger for your controller, watch out for the voltage and how long you charge it for (past it being full) it could overload the battery. I used to do it and eventually my controller wouldn't hold a charge, I'm still not 100% sure if it was the charging but it was fine before I started doing it.🤷♂️
Yes it frigged up one of my ps3 controllers, it's not designed to be charged by a mobile phone charger, I just bought a spare ps4 controller and keep one on charge whilst I use the other but to be fair I've never ran out of charge yet and I play call of duty warzone for like 4-6 hrs at a time
Did you buy it new or used? Because if used then it might not have been included, but if new the mic looks like an single earbud with a very thin cable with a toggle switch on it. Easy to miss in a flurry of unpacking the box.

you can actually use your cellphone as a second ps4 controller as well through remote play, takes a lot of getting used to, though you can actually use a Bluetooth phone controller if you do it right, so there :)
First one is not true. You can't use the games after your plus runs out, you need to have an active subscription to play any game you downloaded from plus.
the thing is that DS3 could not be charged in the same way because it requires USB host to start charging, not just a power supply, so you could charge it from console or PC, but not from phone adapter. Some people would naturally assume that DS4 works in the same way.

You can also replace the PS4 HDD for an SSD if you really wanted to. I did it a couple years ago and my PSN account is still not banned so don’t worry. If you need a tutorial on how to do it I think Linus tech tips has one.

The USB thing is common knowledge for anyone who knows what the U stands for.
Interesting side fact, if you have a phone data transfer cord, you can use that as well as a few software programs to use the DS4 controller as a gamepad on computers that don't have Bluetooth, while having the controller remain linked to the console as soon as you unplug it.
i wish that you could use your phone (via the ps app) as a mic. that would help a lot. its not really much to ask. or at least be able to use a mac, or tablet with mic built in still using playstation app.

For the phone charger thing. You could do that, or you could spend $25 and get one of those special charger stands. They charge really fast and you don't have to look for cords.

Just a heads up about using a phone charger for your controller, watch out for the voltage and how long you charge it for (past it being full) it could overload the battery. I used to do it and eventually my controller wouldn't hold a charge, I'm still not 100% sure if it was the charging but it was fine before I started doing it.🤷♂️

Yes it frigged up one of my ps3 controllers, it's not designed to be charged by a mobile phone charger, I just bought a spare ps4 controller and keep one on charge whilst I use the other but to be fair I've never ran out of charge yet and I play call of duty warzone for like 4-6 hrs at a time

Did you buy it new or used? Because if used then it might not have been included, but if new the mic looks like an single earbud with a very thin cable with a toggle switch on it. Easy to miss in a flurry of unpacking the box.

How do you magically find the place with all those ps plus games to download. I got on signed in and everything and for some reason surprise surprise. I only get the shitty ones available monthly. I can't find all the free games. and all the website does is offer me more ps plus subscription. Is this all there is?. You hyped it up to be like I could get all the ones that have bee free. you can actually use your cellphone as a second ps4 controller as well through remote play, takes a lot of getting used to, though you can actually use a Bluetooth phone controller if you do it right, so there :)
First one is not true. You can't use the games after your plus runs out, you need to have an active subscription to play any game you downloaded from plus.

the thing is that DS3 could not be charged in the same way because it requires USB host to start charging, not just a power supply, so you could charge it from console or PC, but not from phone adapter. Some people would naturally assume that DS4 works in the same way.
