It's the first night of the two consecutive concerts in Montreal... 24th November 1981. Knowing that Freddie died on the same day 10 years later 😢 it is just heartbreaking 💔 . Freddie, I'll love you till I die... 😢
Freddie was able to make you believe, that he needs somebody to love or some one to save him, independently from the songwriter's person, he was a great stroyteller.
Get the talent on this stage- Brian at the piano with his guitar in his lap- Freddie singing -then Freddie just plops down and picks up the melody while Brian is hitting the guitar!! It’s a really wonderful song- Queen can do it all! Thank you so much! It’s fun to share with you- a new Queen fan!
I love the subtle difference between Freddie's and Brian's piano playing - Brian has a more gentle touch while Freddie attacks the keys with his usual passion. A perfect depiction of both men's characters, to my mind. ❤
OMG, never heard this song but Freddie's ability to make you cry INSTANTLY 😭 You can tell he sang with his soul & was literally crying out SAVE ME! RIP A LEGEND
Freddie is just out of this world. He always sang with his soul but this song is amazing. Written by Brian who played the piano with his 🎸 in his lap than jumped up and playing a guitar, than Freddie slipped to playing the piano while singing ... unbelievable. Save me, I can't face this life alone ... 💔 Listen to You Take My Breath Away (live at Hyde Park, 1976) it is Freddie's 😭 ballad 💎
It's so dope to watch you watching at Queen preformanses 🤩🤘 Everybody that take a dive into their music, when Freddie was still with us, just wants to hear more. That never fails 😄 They vere, in mine opinion, the greatest band and preformers of all time. No one!! can do it like mr Mercury. Well, you have some cool stuff too, at your page. 👍 Can you take a reaction on "I want it all" by Queen? Its just the studioversion, but its smashing! Much love from Norway 🙌 💙
Need to watch A Kind of Magic at Wembley 86 and The Show Must Go On. Love of My Life at Wembley and Love of My Life at Rock in Rio where the 250,000 plus people in attendance sang almost the whole song to Freddie and Brian. It was amazing because Freddie wasn’t sure how many in attendance would even understand what they were singing because they speak Portuguese. At one point Freddie had to regain his composure because he was so touched.
The excellent quality, by 1981 standards, is because the Montreal show was a staged two night event professionally filmed for the purpose of theatrical release. There’s a longer story behind the recording of the show and the film’s initial release but it was, recently, expertly refinished and broadcast on IMAX screens across the globe last January. Thanks!
The good thing about the Queen band is that they don't focus on one type of music. All generations can relate to their songs. Imagine that there are 4 individuals who have their talents that cannot be compared. The singing becomes even more beautiful because Freddie gives more life to each song. Thank you for your great comments on Queen. Can I request that you do a reaction on the song Love of my life at Wembley or Rock in Rio, either of these 2 concerts you will not be disappointed. Again, Thank you very much!
Heres another under rated queen song which is an earlier queen song which is raw and great it call "its late" its a good one to react to. The switch ups are intense. Love your reaction! R.I.P FREDDIE WE MISS YOU
Initially in the interest of privacy, Brian said he wrote this about a friend who was going through a difficult divorce. Years later (after his passing), Brian admitted that he had written it about Freddie who was indeed going through a very difficult break up. Brian wrote this song while hanging around with some friends and though it was Brian's song, others added a word or suggested he change a word. When the song was written those others wanted credit on the song which would have been messy with royalty rights so Freddie, John and Roger refused to have it put on the album they were making at the time. So it got tossed in the vault (with a lot of other great music) until a later date. I love this song and that Brian starts out on the piano with his axe in his lap then later gets up and Freddie takes over on the piano. I find it interesting how differently they each play the piano, since it is in fact a percussion instrument, touch is a factor in the sound. The shows in Montreal were filmed in 8 mm film because they were intended to be viewed on a huge screen, even bigger than IMAX, so the footage from this concert is still excellent.
I luv it when Freddie saunters up those steps . . . knowing he'll be soon running back down them to play the piano and emotionally continue the mournful story.
Did you notice that Brian had his guitar in his lap while he was at the piano so he could get into place when it was time. May I suggest You Take My Breath Away live 1974. Some people prefer the studio version with backup vocals, but I prefer this performance of just Freddie on the piano. Thanks!
Thanks - I love this one as much as the "Somebody to Love" from the same concert... especially the way Brian plays keys with his guitar in his LAP... (Brian wrote it, of course...) and then the transition when he just "shows up" with guitar and Freddie takes over on keys... of course, everyone is amazing as always... appreciate your reaction.
Me again,😅 the groups idea about opening a show was blind and deafen the audience in the first ten minutes, they certainly practiced what they preached😂😂😂
Brian wrote this gem while a friend was going through a divorce. They’re all so talented. Please look at some of Brian and Roger’s projects. You won’t be sorry
This was one of my father’s favorite Queen songs!! Anyway as mentioned, written by Brian about a friend’s difficult break-up! Brian would later comment that the “friend” was Freddie!! If ya like guitar solos, please do BRIGHTON ROCK studio version! Brian’s solo is to die for! The song was featured in the film “Baby Driver”. 🚙💨🎸〰️
BTW, Hon… Just FYI, THERE IS A YT CHANNEL: VIDEO REMASTER ITA THEY REMASTER/UPGRADE OLD VIDEOS SO THE IMAGE IS SO CRYSTAL, IT’S PRACTICALLY 3D!🤯 (I have NO IDEA how they do it.🤫) They’ve remastered some Queen performances - a few from the Saturday Wembley concert; I’m not sure what else. (Just mentioning because you commented on the HD of the Montreal footage.)
Bohemian Rhapsody may be their best song, but this is my favorite song. Watch the official video, it’s sad and beautiful. Amazing song writing by Brian May.
feedback - whatever you are doing, you are at the top of my home screen every time the past few days lol and I do a lot of reaction channels and other trolling, I'm a busy girl, so I figure you are doing something right on YT and thought you might like to know I've seen your promos and stuff many times in the last 3 hours. :)
It's legit probably all the Queen. It's working. Pink Floyd, Metallica, AC/DC, White Zombie, Nine Inch Nails, Led Zeppelin, Motley Crue and Bon Jovi will do the same. ~Gen X Grandma (Tara)
Metal hands are not for Queen. Queen is a rock band NOT a heavy metal band. Yes, there is a difference. Metal hands are only for heavy metal bands not rock or classic rock.
Who else can stay in perfect pitch while running down stairs??? Only Freddie...❤️
Agree
This performance truly showcases dear Freddie's spectacular phrasing, control, and range.❤
And timing when he comes to the piano
Yes!!! Brian's 💎 of a song and Freddie's angelic singing. ❤
Brian is playing the piano with his Red Special 🎸 in his lap! 😮
This song is just awesome.
Love it . I love everything Queen does especially my beautiful Freddie RIP ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
One of my favorite performances
Sings like an angel. Rip freddie

Till we die and then long after!🫶👑💙🌈
Try Love of My Life at Rock in Rio'85
Freddie was able to make you believe, that he needs somebody to love or some one to save him, independently from the songwriter's person, he was a great stroyteller.
Freddie sings like an angel
This song was performed the same night Freddie sang the famous "Somebody To Love" performance! Freddie and the boys are perfection again and again!
This is in my top 5 ❤ nobody can Jam like Queen 👑👑👑👑🤘🔥☮️💯

Brian May said Freddie had a unique style on the piano. That it was like he was playing the drums 😂
Love this performance. Freddie was born to perform, incredible voice.

Brian later admitted this song was about one of Freddie's break ups. Such a beautiful song, performed so well. RIP Freddie.
I was just going to write that!

I actually I’ve never heard this song myself so this is definitely new for me as well. So definitely looking forward to hearing this.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This entire concert is available on Disney plus in imax remastered format.
Just brilliant 👏 👌

Try Play the Game it's fire too. This is one of my favorite Queen songs. Just beautiful ❤Great reaction as usual my friend and Peace out 🙏 ✌️ ☮️
Thanks for doing this one. It's one of my favorite live performances.
The reason for the excellent video quality is because it was filmed to be released later in IMax theaters. It is currently showing on Disney+
Love this performance of this song ❤
This song is so beautiful only Freddie could sing it with so much passion
I luv it when Freddie saunters up those steps . . . knowing he'll be soon running back down them to play the piano and emotionally continue the mournful story.
Gorgeous song. Perfectly sad and powerful. They sound so beautiful here.

Hello. I love your reactions. You should see love of my life at Wembley. It's a beautiful song and the interpretation is better.
Brian said quite recently that the song was actually about Freddie, who was going through a difficult breakup at the time.
Brian wouldn't get divorced until several years after this. He did write some songs related to that but this wasn't one of them.
You want to see how different they can be check out Cool Cat and Melancholy Blues
Brian's piano playing was soft and nice....when Freddie took over he just banged it!!!! But love them both❤

One of my favourite Queen songs. Not that they have any bad ones :)
💜
Great stuff dude! Check out something from Live at the Rainbow '74. Maybe "Now I'm Here"
Hi All
You must be living 🥌😊
This is one of my top 10 songs. Brian May is a genius.
He truly is. Not only in music but also in astrophysics + his IQ = 180 😮❤
@@iris67si Sir Dr. Brian May. He's a rock scientist and a rocket scientist.
@@proofprof63 Sir Dr Brian May is a rock (music 🎸) scientist and a rock (asteroid) scientist 😜 , a true gem 💎 and a true gentleman ❤️
