Thanks for the vid. I got to try on a pair at Bootcamp this year and they felt great. Although I didn't really walk around in them since it was a $400 pair and didn't wanna wear them down for the eventual owner 😅 It's cool how you shout out others in the community like Patina and Stridewise. Hope you catch you at the Bootcamp next year!
doh, yeah, those are too small for you. I think we're the same size - grant stone 8.5D, and I wear crown northamptons at 8.5. was psyched at first to know you were re-selling, then checked the sizes on the site.
It’s the whole cut construction not derby. Except the high one.

Awesome overview of these sneakers! Hope they go to nice homes! 🎉
Loved the lizard ref. How do you think it would work for someone with a high instep / arch?
It depends on your sensitivity but I think they’d be fine, it’s a fairly normal sneaker last
The boot nerds sneaker choice great 👍 job Crown Northampton
Could you comment on these compared to the grant stone coast sneaker?
Very similar quality
@@DalesLeatherworks sweet, thanks, getting close to pulling the trigger on the coast sneaker in natural minerva on sale right now

Can the cup soles be sanded down to stick a flat vibram sole onto it?
Good question, anything is possible I suppose!
I am not sure about the design. The sole looks so thick and chunky. Must be heavy. Also everything looks so thick and bulky must be hard to walk in
You’re assumptions are assumptions
Well I own a pair and they extremely high quality
Awesome!
