I recently had the key switch on my k20 get stuck in the on position. This forced me to disconnect the battery to turn the truck off. This is how I fixed it.

I've got to say thanks for showing exactly where to push in to get the cylinder to release. Prior to that, what a struggle putting the screwdriver in the wrong place. The good of it all was that what was wrong and I don't have to change the ignition switch on the steering column. I sure saw a lot square body videos. Thanks

Man I’m having trouble pressing the lock cylinder release to get it out the column . I need help please I have watched this video but still can’t get it

It’s probably the hardest part. Gotta kinda keep wiggling it around until you find the spot.

Well I got it but the plastic piece that connects in the end of the cylinder is broken I guess that was the issue not the key lock cylinder itself . Any idea where to find one ?
