Your videos and excercises have helped me so much! The burning irritation in my throat from GERD / acid reflux has greatly subsided... Doctors gave me prescriptions for Pantoprazole 40mg tablets 2X daily plus Sucralfate 1GM tab 2X daily, plus he just prescribed me one more medication for acid reflux. None of these prescriptions were helping... It felt like I was breathing through a straw while gurgling mucus with acid for hours at a time... this feeling of not being able to breathe well was causing me anxiety and every time I ate the burning would get worse again. The anxiety was probably making me produce more acid making matters worse. I have gone from 240lbs down to 190lbs in the last 6 months from Gerd and didn't know what was wrong... Now after doing these excercises (only for 4 days but I noticed relief immediately) I can breathe comfortably again!. Thank you so much. You may have literally saved my life.

I looked at a video from a surgeon from USA Harvard John Hopkins who operated using four incisions… supplemented by a dissolvable “ mesh “ … bottom line was he said there was 40%, failure rate , but that failure rate was less with him. I have, yes, very swollen upper abdomen.
The specialist that did the colonoscopy and gastroscopy and found the hiatal hernia and said that surgery was unlikely to “ deliver” . Listening to you , in summary, I have the same issues. I think anxiety over 40 years caused very severe abdominal tension over the years, neck and head tension, and of course constitution .
Apparently there is very significant relief and if 60% success rate is true, using your advice , it
The hernia might not return. I will talk to my gap too next week

Thank you very much for your video! What I can share about this issue is I have GERD for about 15 years since I was in university. I recently noticed it mostly comes from not listening to our body! I sit for too long, which makes pressure on the stomach and as I was pretty anxious, I would also be pulling in my abs unconsciously. I have to say, I lived in Taiwan and learnt Qigong there which helped me a lot to become aware of my body and its signals. For me the answer is really "listening to our body". When I do it, relax and don't sit too long, walk around, almost all the symptoms disappear.

There is a much easier way. Just drink a couple glasses of water and jump up and down for a couple minutes to jiggle the stomach back down to its normal position.
Forty years ago, I did an activity which forced part of my stomach up through or past the diaphragm. It was a couple months later that I suddenly started having severe stomach pains. I was initially misdiagnosed by a doctor as having ulcers. It was a couple of years of misery before I realized that the doctor was wrong and I had gastric reflux disease, or GERD. Often, GERD happens naturally without a clear cause. Normally, the esophagus sphincter and the diaphragm sphincter muscles line up and reinforce each other. If part of the stomach is pushed or pulled up through the diaphragm, the sphincter muscles don’t line up and stomach acid can more easily leak into the esophagus, causing GERD.
Other people suggest drinking warm or hot water to relax the muscles, I would suggest cold water so the heavy water will stay in the stomach longer. I would also suggest doing it first thing in the morning so the water won’t affect the digestion process on other food. It may take a repeat on a few successive days for the esophagus to adapt to the new longer length for the stomachs in its new proper position. I would repeat the process anytime I got heartburn or acid taste in my mouth. I have been trouble free for over 35 years now. I later learns of a gastroenterologist in Michigan who recommends this process also; maybe others now also.
The body needs strong hydrochloric acid in the stomach to trigger the esophageal sphincter to close, to break down bulk foods generally, and to specifically separate protein into the amino acid components to be effectively absorbed into the blood stream in the intestines for use by the human body. Most or all GERD medicines block the production of or neutralize the hydrochloric acid which then interferes with protein digestion and interferes with esophageal sphincter closing.

Oh my gosh Pam, this is amazing! I am so glad I found you here! I started dealing with acid reflux in January of this year, about six months ago, and I couldn’t understand why it was happening. Then a friend of mine asked me if my chiropractor was treating me for a hiatal hernia each time I went, which is usually once a week because I have scoliosis. I told him I didn’t even know what that was. The long and short of it is I found out that if you have scoliosis, and you’re getting up in years like I am, I am 56, is it reflux and a hiatal hernia can happen.
You are the only person I have seen explain that you could be pushing your stomach up if you are holding in your core, which is some thing I have done for decades. Just letting my stomach out felt very strange, because it looks like I have a little gut now. LOL! I started taking Betaine HCL with pepsin pills, along with digestive enzymes, and that helps a lot. But sometimes it doesn’t totally help. But one night I went to a very nice steakhouse and realized I forgot my pills, so I pushed my stomach down for a while before I ate, and I had absolutely no problem eating a very large and fatty ribeye.
After watching this video, I realized that I need to buy your course, and I need to stop holding my core in, because it’s pushing my stomach up!

6:34 oh my god this is such a relief, I do the exact same thing ALL of the time, it was getting so bad as of late that the nausea would be unbearable. I instinctively flex my abdominal muscles, around my stomach, all the time. For no specific reason it's just my resting state (Which is funny, since it wouldn't be resting). And moreso when I felt the nausea kick in, which naturally made the nausea worse since I was flexing my abs putting more stress and pressure on my stomach. I also found laying flat on my back would almost immediately help with the nausea and discomfort, which to my understanding is because in a prone position on my back my stomach muscles wouldn't be in a position in which I can flex it without active thought to flex them. Coupling this with the breathing exercises you mentioned worked great. I just need to remember to stop flexing my stomach all the time.

From The Westside With Love yes I'm having a test done in 4 weeks to see if my esophagus is working correctly. The doctor doesn't think it's because of my hiatal hernia he believes my les is weakened causing the acid to keep coming up.So they want to do the "tif" I believe that's what it's called surgery.Rightt now they put me on a anti depressant which oddly caused the belching and pain to be super mild. Its really strange ... I went from severe pain to super mild symptoms.I am not going to be on it permanently the doctor just wanted to try this medication so I could get some sleep at night and help with pain so I'm not miserable for the next 4 weeks.I am able to eat now and before I didn't want to eat because it caused so much pain and burping.

The back story absolutely is relevant. Funny you mentioned contracting stomach as a potential cause - I have spinal nerve pressure and the muscles around my abdomen are frequently contracted and I never thought about it. Last 2 years and pain, decreased app and quick to be full - yet was never worked up for HH guessing because I didn’t have reflux? I was on Zantac and Pepcid for decades since I ate Motrin like candy. However I owned that bastard, wasn’t hungry? Didn’t eat much? No worry needed to lose weight anyway. I ran with it (not literally but did walk) dropped 100 pounds over 2 years and had to force myself to eat to STOP losing weight but I did have that abd pain - nothing noted on cat scans. Honestly I didn’t think this would do anything. I WAS WRONG. After 10 mins of this on the left side (no gallbladder also) pain was gone - after 2 years. Been gone now 3 weeks - yes I’m hungry again now. But hey I’m in a better place, down 100 and off diabetic meds

A small sliding hernia, gastritis, and baretts. 38, decent shape, good weight. After some process of elimination I’ve found that it’s the overeating and the smoking that’s doing the most damage so eating small meals and trying to quit cigs. I got rid of PPIs with Pam Fox's advice. As a background, I am master of science, and never pay for anything online - a super cheapskate and skeptic. But I paid for her course, and also the swedish iQoro training apparatus, and the synergy of both helped me out. So if you have the hiatal hernia problem, just keep working on it, and find your way of getting that stomach down and that hiatus tighter! The doctors just aren't aware of any of this. Originally I was 100% healthy drinking whatever amount of coffee in my life and doing whatever sports etc. and then it hit one fateful day, and broke my hiatus. But I made it out of a sudden catastrophic hiatal hernia appearance in my life (after having bloating / being sick), and then not being able to sleep properly without chest pain anymore, unable to drink coffee anymore (without serious pains), having chest pains while cycling or running, having acid reflux in my throat when tying my shoe laces, sleeping fully upright and eating 40 mg of esomeprazol a day... to, in just 1 year of Pam Fox's conditioning, and tapering slowly from 40 to 30, 20, 10, 5 mg esomeprazol a day to not eating the ezomeprazol at all, and only sleeping with 15 cm wedge pillow, being able to cycle again, drinking coffee again, and only having mild chest pains every now and then, which I get rid of most easily by eating chewing gum and not being sideways on the sofa too much. That's it. I can even ride a motorcycle, do pull-ups... just about anything normal. I take absolutely no pills for over a full year now. So, Pam Fox, a big thank you from Finland.

This video and her others ruined my life. I was completely healthy 6 months ago before having my gallbladder removed. Then I developed gastritis after, which isn't that uncommon. I had an EDG done and they found a small hiatal hernia. I had just cured my gastritis and was feeling almost back to normal. However, I found these videos suggesting a way to cure the hiatal hernia. I had no symptoms from the hernia and it felt the same as it had for my entire life. However, I thought I needed to cure it in order to prevent problems later in life. I did everything she suggested and over the next week I got a lot worse. I had an onset of loss of appetite and nausea. My stomach started making a strange gurgling and I felt a fullness under my left rib cage that I'd never felt. Well, I've steadily worsened since then. The loss of appetite did go away after about 3 weeks, but now I get this fullness after just eating a little and I also get this feeling of regurgitation (or at least that is what I assume it is). I have a lot of pain under my ribs and in the epigastric area. I can barely eat and experience discomfort every time I do. I feel like this ruined my life. I should never have done this. I felt fine before...and now...I'm so sick all the time. I regret finding these videos every single day. I've done a ton of research since this happened to me about 1 month ago. I figured out at the stomach is actually attached to surrounding organs and is also supported with a ligament at the top that holds it in place. By pulling the stomach down you pull this ligament and risk making it worse by essentially stretching it out. You also may tear the omentum or other ligaments holding the stomach in place naturally. This could make the stomach herniate further up into the chest. I'm putting this here because maybe it can save someone from making a big mistake like me. I ruined the rest of my life and I hope others don't try this stuff. I understand being desperate to fix the issue...especially because doctors can't seem to or don't act like they care to help. However, you're taking a HUGE risk of making yourself worse by doing this. It's not worth it. Pam Fox should be assumed of herself honestly.

I've been suffering from a hiatal hernia for years. It's slowly worsened, and I've probably followed a similar path to you. I have recently transitioned to a whole food plant diet. As I had reached a point where I would puke two or more times a week from the negative symptoms of the hiatal hernia. My new diet has had a great impact on my health. But I still have the awful symptoms. I currently take PPI pills as it's the only means as of now to keep the acid at bay along side avoiding anything spicy, acidic, oily, or sugary. But the damn medication dilutes the acid in my stomach making it difficult to digest anything but mellow vegan foods. I have attempted to massage it down with some success, but hurt myself, and worried I was doing more damage than harm. I also have a panic disorder which, when paired with the negative symptoms of the hiatal hernia can be quite overwhelming.
I'm very likely going to save up money and buy your course so I can get this sorted out and behind me. Although I think I'll keep the dietary changes, as they've been amazing on my health and state of being. I would like to enjoy spicy food again though.

I'm doing slightly better. I've been doing some of the stomach massaging exercises Wonder Vegan has demonstrated in her TH-cam Videos. I also no longer allow myself to eat anything after 5 PM as most of my bad episodes arise in my sleep. I've slowly been lowering the dosage on my PPI's. It's still an ordeal, but I think I'm finally starting to make some progress with it. Lowering the PPI's has helped, but I think my gut flora could be all out of whack from being on them for years.
I'm somewhat concerned as I just bought some purple sweet potatoes to try them out. :P

Let me know what the course is like if you buy it. Ive been on prilosec for 22yrs and paxil 23yrs Ive managed to reduce the paxil to 5mg a day but the ppi stayed on the 20mg dose, Ive gone onto various boards and a lady came off by switching to H2blockers rranitidine they dont work the same way as ppi's and doesnt my body know it, it rebels, there is a slight difference in that I feel more acid than usual but after a few days the burning gets too much and have problems swallowing foods so I assume the esophagus is being burnt and damaged.
Ive done the massaging down that wondervegan suggests and find it hurts as well and get red marks if I do them daily, I wonder if it actually pulls the stomach down, as you pull the stomach will roll out of the way, as to vegan diet or whole foods plant based, although I agree that meat/eggs etc have been shown to increase IGF1/HGH and this seems to be implicated in cancer growth/mets/angiogenesis etc and animal protein being heavy for the kidneys and heart health etc, I have found that meat can be easy to digest, Ive eaten in the past raw (slightly scalded) Liver heart, chicken that I previously froze in order to kill bacteria, the meat is super soft and found it easy to digest even though Im on PPI's long term, Im Gluten intolerant (past 6 yrs only) it could be cause chronic low acid can lead to overgrowth of bad bacteria which can then migrate to the small intestine area and damage it leading to leaky gut and various autoimmune disease symptoms such as arthritis and allergies in my own case, I even have to be careful with probiotics and yogurts cause certain bacteria trigger histamine and cause allergic type reactions, Ive found one that is good and can take without reacting.
Some seems to have success with paleo type diets and cure their arthritis and acid reflux, not sure though if they have hiatal hernia though cause thats more difficult than just acid reflux, you know they guys that say take HCI and apple cider vinegar? I tried that and ended up in hospital after 10 days.
I find that even if I drink water of almond milk I can feel it bounce right back up within minutes

I have been diagnosed with a sliding hiatal hernia. I've had heartburn for over two years now. I had an endoscopy done and the doctor said that my throat was pretty red as well. If I have to wait to eat and get so hungry that I inhale my food, it feels like it sits in my throat by my collarbone and I want to burp but can't so I end up vomiting. I have vomited up so much bile as well that I can't stand it. I'm supposed to have surgery to fix it but I will try your course as I'm tired of eating so many tums and drinking so many bottles of pepto. I'm praying this helps me. Root cause is usually your back (poor posture has a big role in Hiatal hernia) if you notice daily that your sleeping position as well sitting position isn't right = you have a first answer + Pretty weak diaphragm can cause that. Usually these are the main two reasons. Personally for me it's my back = working with chiropractor helps a lot.
You need to train your back and diaphragm. and do daily 2x times these whole diaphragm exercises + back exercises + let chiropractor do manipulations (it's slow process because "muscles" "tissues") and try to understand when Your hiatal hernia poops double up... And avoid that.
Stress, Siting position, sleeping position etc.

I just started getting symptoms of a hiatal hernia two weeks ago after stomach flu. Doctors (and myself) are fairly sure I have it, have to wait to see a specialist to confirm I'm trying all that I can't reverse it. I won't allow myself to accept it. Thank you so much for hope.

Kelsey Sullivan I hear that females suffer the most from bracing their lower stomach because of what a loved one or random person told them. I have had this issue because it was a defensive mechanism for me whenever I was in stressful situations until I eventually just did it subconsciously whenever I would be thrown into a stressful situation. The problem is this limits lower stomach breathing and forces you to be a chest breather which in my case amplified my anxiety. It wasn’t until 2 years ago I became mindful of my body because it was affecting way more then just breathing.

If you don't want to buy it or can't afford it then don't buy it. I have just subscribed to her channel and she puts most of the exercises on her videos. There is also a wealth of information she gives us about diet, stress and exercise for free. I mean, if she can make money doing her thing then that's awesome for her, why not be happy for her and maybe someday you can start your own thing and be successful at it. I am working on it because I've lost over 70lbs. I've had a hiatal hernia since 1997 and never attributed any of my symptoms to it until now and these videos she made really gave me something to identify with and now I can move forward with my own holistic healing with less anxiety and feeling better with the choice I have made many years ago not to use main stream or western medicine. The whole PPI story coming out in the media now made me feel very confident in my choices because my doctor had wanted to put me on that years ago but I refused it. Now , its coming out that it was very harmful, so scary but glad I made the choices I did, anyway I am babbling now. Have a blessed day everyone.

Esophageal and throat cancer is scary also if people don’t take meds when they should be. Holistic remedies are great when they work but don’t die of cancer from acid problems if the holistic remedies don’t work.

@@theebabyjesus surgery is not an option for many and it’s not a guarantee. Medications make you sicker. Many are unable to work to make ends meet much less to buy a course. I have found that manual manipulation pulling down the stomach out of the diaphragm and taking betaine hcl with meals is helping tremendously. I’ve read where the stomach acids will return to normal after a while and betaine is no longer needed. Also drink very little during meals as any liquids can reduce the acid. Don’t overeat again, this could cause a reduction in stomach acid. We want the stomach acid to return to its acidic level and the sphincter will close healing everything. Spiritually: take some time out and do some soul searching and forgive those that hurt you at any time in your life. Even forgive those that are hurting you now just stay away from them if you can. Ask the Lord to help you forgive and be healed. ❤️

Thank you for this. I got Afib from this. I was drinking a cold smoothie, gulped to much and it was ice cold and stuck in my esophagus and it hurt terribly then gave me a brain freeze then I was in Afib. Had my cardioversion a few days ago and still having short bursts of heart flutter whenever I bend over or reach for something. I also have LPR for many years and vocal cords that are damaged from all this as well as failed pulmonary function tests. This causes the docs to accuse me of smoking. I have an excellent VO2 max and no exercise limitation -- the vocal cords are burned up from acid that is normal at the lower esophageal sphincter and slightly high up in he voice box (base don a 24 hour Ph monitoring). My mom told me I had a hiatal hernia but two upper GIs and upper endoscopies told me I do not but I do have esophageal rings and functional esophagus. I suspect I also have a hiatal hernia because I've also had paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia from bending forward or crunching. The docs wont give me my Nexium anymore because it's expensive but whenever I go off it I get the bad vocal cord burn again and trouble breathing and heart palpitations. Oh and I had an inguinal hernia repaired and umbilical and also a diastis recti. I'm a mess! But I am in good shape and fit. That's what makes it hard. They want to treat me like I have Stage IV COPD and I don't. I can do 16 minutes on the Bruce protocol treadmill stress test. I just have LPR really bad and esophagus issues. I'm going to try your exercises. Wish me luck.
