Aside from a couple of standard maintenance parts mine so far has been reliable. Certainly better than the MK5 Golf I had before

Useful video, got to replace my bumper as I hit a monkjack deer the other week. Took out the nearside of the bumper plus fog light. Got a random tube coming down from near the battery...any thoughts what that is? Doesn't seem to connect to anything...
Nice video mate, really well presented and easy to follow. I have a A/C pipe leak, does the bumper have to come off to replace the pipe do you know or anyone else know?

I don’t suppose you know if the Renault Clio 172 lower grille would fit a mk2 05 plate? Just switched out the top one for the 172 one but not to sure about the lower grille.
Couldn't help but notice, but at 10:28 11:11 14:05 and 14:37 you seem to have really good access to the alternator and drive belt. Im about to change both of those items on my Clio, and knowing how tight space is, do you think there is better access to these items and the belt tensioner by taking the bumper off, rather than the limited access by going in through the front right wheel arch?
I would say yes there is a better view and access! Easy job to remove it, so try it 👍🏻

You can make new lugs out of carbon plus CA Cyanoacrylate glue, we use this for motorcycle covers.

josh_4000 ™ thanks bro! Not yet waiting on the inlet manifold gasket and working out what to do about the rocker cover sealant! As it seems like it's a long winded job. 🙄
i need to do the rocker gasket too as all down the left side of the engine is oil, tbh i dont want to do it as it seems like a pain in the a$$

true, but unfortunately you have the harder job :( i have just 2 10mm bolts to remove rocker
funny story i found a ten mil nut on my 206' subfram XD i dont lose sockets i losse nuts XD
