I've played deadlock since they made it open invite , already have 100ish hours but this still taught me some things im going to try to implement in my game
26 subscribers? Very well done for a new channel! Comprehensive view, learned a lot. Two suggestions: 1. Please add what patch you are showing items on, since there are many changes (I'm watching this 3 days after publication but some major things could change, e.g. several weeks ago they shuffled a lot of items). 2. Add timestamps for items, or at least groups, so that folks can find them easier (if you add in description, it will split into "bookmarks" automatically).
@nowanilfideme2 appreciate the feedback, I'll definitely start calling out the patch! I have the timestamps in the description already, not sure why it's not formatting the chapters. Thank you so much for the kind words 🙏
@@tragedy8365 100%, divine barrier is amazing. There were some items I left out like divine barrier and withering whip because I don't know if they are really situational, they are just ALWAYS good. I might make another video to cover all the 1250 items that really help in lane.
Ethereal shift and knockdown are both even better than you say. They counter a lot of big ults. Knockdown can cancel ults for Dynamo, Haze, Seven, Lash, Wraith, Bebop, Mo and Krill, McGinnis, ... basically anything that can be denied by a stun, which is a ton of stuff. Ethereal shift does similar but makes you straight up immune to stuff instead of cancelling it, which means it also works on stuff like Kelvin as you mentioned, Shiv's execute, an Abrams doing his charge punch combo, etc.
So true. Really can't overstate how powerful some of these items are. You know ethereal shift has to be bonkers because it doesn't have any passive stats.
Appreciate the vid, just ready for the game for full release and various modes to be out to turn off usable items. I use fleet foot/unstoppable quite often (metal skin on occasion).
Alright well I've been sleeping on the debuff remover for sure. I get overwhelmed by active items and I'm realizing I've slept on the passive bonuses from them. Infernus and Pocket have pissed me off with their DOT too, so I need to use this more.
@@mctipto I saw someone on Reddit say they liked spirit resist better vs Infernus, but look at it like this: Spirit Resist reduces 20% damage for 1250 Debuff Reducer reduces dot time by 30% for 1250. So 30% less damage and it wears off faster making it harder for Infernus to keep the stacks up.
Okay I have to bookmark this. I don't know why I haven't looked enough at these. I've played quite a bit and I'm surprised by how strong some of these are and I feel like I just skipped over them.
Dude some of the info you casually drop while talking about an item seems obvious and is still stuff I've never put together lol Like Heroic Aura with McGinnis. I love that item but I never even thought about the fire rate increase for the turrets. That's sick.
Return Fire has now been added to my 'bonus essentials' list haha
Build it on shiv for hilarious fights
@@DeadlockSchool Oooo, curious how it works with his ability Bloodletting hehe
This is the type of deadlock content I've been looking for. Nice work.
Glad you liked it!

Awesome to hear that! Try escalating resilience, so good.
Thank you for taking the time in putting this together

Good vid. Should have mentioned divine barrier, the amount of people still sleeping on that item is crazy for how op it is early game

Great video. I had no idea escalation resilience was so freakin strong.
Core item on haze
Really good if vitality items are at a premium in your build. Almost as much resist as improved bullet resist!
new sub, thanks bro,I've been losing and I get frustrated because I don't know how to use the perks.
Thanks for the sub my dude! Pro tip, bind 2 item slots to mouse wheel up and down, helps me remember to use my actives
@@DeadlockSchool brooooo I never thought about that haha, see that's why I subscribed thanks
Very interesting insights
Appreciate it!

Rescue beam, escalating resilience and return fire are CRAZY strong
Do you know if debuff remover gets rid of curse?
Curse prevents item usage so debuff remover won't work. The only way to block curse (that I know of) is to pop unstoppable before the enemy uses it.
@@DeadlockSchool oh I forgot about that, thanks
