Arcane surge is so good on paradox its insane. Like you mentioned it moves into a spirit slot which paradox doesnt typically need a lot of, but the ability duration works really well with her 3 and the range+duration works well with the grenade to proc something like healbane, mystic slow, or shredder. Kinetic was already a good item on her since she lacks any means of escapes but often times you'd just be delaying a power spike since it takes up a slot. Arcane surge is honestly one of my favourite items.

tbh i dont see spellslinger or surge would be useful on moe moe and krill mostly relies on lockdown and teamwork and doesnt build too much spirit dmg (less about solo killing ppl) so i dont rly think the extra spirit power would benefit too much' also you mostly go engage in borrow unnoticed so you wouldnt have the time to build the stacks anyways as for surge idk moe likes to build a lot of small itmes like mystic burst, quicksilver reload, slowing hex, duration extender, torment pulse and such so he is pretty low on spirit slots. also most of his damage during ult is coming from torment and scorn so the damage amp from the item doesnt do much to the low dps ult the range is nice but you would prob close with phantom strike anyways and for the duration superior duration just does it better, i can maybee see you buy with with sup duration late late game for like a 5 second ult but at this point you would rather just go for spirit dmg increase to do dmg during the already 4 second ult anyways idk man lemme know your thoughts sorry if my yap session was too long ig im too deep into moe and krill💀

Question! I wanted to try arcane surge on Mo & Krill, but I noticed that the stats you see when you hover over it shows an increase to Torment Pulse radius after the dash. Does that imply that the next torment pulse will use the "Next ability" factor? Meaning it would prevent it from applying to the ult, since torment pule would probably trigger first?

Arcane surge on paradox is dope. It took me way too long to realize I need to dash jump with paradox to survive, so this is a great add to his kit.

I'm not a fan of having items build into another type, but kinetic dash to arcane surge is pretty dope

heroic aura very good laning phase, dunno on other movement speed characters but on Ivy w/ upgraded boots you can use heroic aura and you can slide without having to dash = unlimited ammo to dump into towers.

Good video. In my opinion, Healing Nova just doesn't work as well as it should. The healing is good early on, but once people start to reach 2000 HP it feels like it's not enough; especially if any of them are hit by a heal reduction. You need all 5 teammates near enough to you to get the maximum value, but people split pushing or focusing on different objectives makes it hard to really get the most value; in situations where it would be most useful (ie all of you are getting hit by an ult) you're usually in some form of cc that'll stop you from casting it. And to top it all off it's on a 60+ second cooldown so you can reliably get it off once per team fight.

I feel like it only makes sense to go ricochet after toxic bullets or even before and get that tier 3 run earlier to have even easier time farming the rest. So this build is more about being ever so active and fighting much

I find people greatly overreacted to the Shiv nerfs. He's still very tanky and well yeah he's not as good as he was before that's like comparing a fighter jet to the fucking death star.

I play Pocket and feel like I only had problems with Shiv if he's not in my lane and gets fed by my teamates. Decay + Affliction = Win

Nice video and thank you! Pre-nerf Shiv was a menace to society, now it feels like Shiv is an actual human and not literally Vegeta.

I never really noticed how oppressive a Shiv felt, since my buddy usually laned as Shiv with me xD Mans is a unit of a character. I've been against only a few Shivs that were genuinely a problem, but good infos. Pretty much what I figured for countering him, really. I usually tried to CC him before he stacks Escalating Exposure for that dash. The melee resist buffs to items was god tier info though, thanks my guy. I haven't run those items in ages.

I've never really tried Shiv and I didn't realize the crystal glowed when he was in rage. That's dope and useful, regardless of the patch.

Appreciate the vid, just ready for the game for full release and various modes to be out to turn off usable items. I use fleet foot/unstoppable quite often (metal skin on occasion).

I've played deadlock since they made it open invite , already have 100ish hours but this still taught me some things im going to try to implement in my game

Ethereal shift and knockdown are both even better than you say. They counter a lot of big ults. Knockdown can cancel ults for Dynamo, Haze, Seven, Lash, Wraith, Bebop, Mo and Krill, McGinnis, ... basically anything that can be denied by a stun, which is a ton of stuff. Ethereal shift does similar but makes you straight up immune to stuff instead of cancelling it, which means it also works on stuff like Kelvin as you mentioned, Shiv's execute, an Abrams doing his charge punch combo, etc.

26 subscribers? Very well done for a new channel! Comprehensive view, learned a lot. Two suggestions: 1. Please add what patch you are showing items on, since there are many changes (I'm watching this 3 days after publication but some major things could change, e.g. several weeks ago they shuffled a lot of items). 2. Add timestamps for items, or at least groups, so that folks can find them easier (if you add in description, it will split into "bookmarks" automatically).
