I love my rack, but I notice in the oven it burns from the top of chicken leg so I wrap with aluminum foil just the small chicken tip end. Just remember to spray the rack with Pam before using it's hard to clean. I use the chicken rack to cook a larger rib on top in the oven just remember to use Pam on the rack before cooking on it.
Very nice video! Thank you. I followed your lead the drumsticks the hit of the party,,,,,😜.
Awesome! Thank you!
A friend of mine (in the UP of Michigan) raises beef cattle and I finally bought a 1/4. There are all kinds of cuts that I’m not familiar with. I’ll do a TH-cam search and see if there is a way to learn to cook them. Thanks again! Oh yea, my brother in law gave me his used Weber grill about 20 years ago. It’s pretty old now but I bought a bunch of replacement parts and it works flawlessly,,,,,love the Weber stuff!

Got to cook chicken legs slow. It's fibrous so it'll break down and be more tender. 300 for A hour and 15 or so. Dries out skin perfectly. Sauce for last 15 min.
Thanks BDubb, happy cooking. Chef Jason
Great timing on this video, I'm going to try drumsticks on my Treager this weekend. I didn't know that you had your own BBQ sauce, can I pick that up at ACE?
brian miller yes you can, we sell our products exclusively to Ace. Thanks for watching.

That chicken leg rack is one of my favorite gear tools. Chef Jason

Was the grill preheated to 400 and was it direct or indirect
Thank you
CanadianBbqLover
Yes, we heated it to 400˚F and cooked direct using the leg and wing rack. Happy grilling, Chef Jason

Great ideas and tips, thank you for sharing them with us. Happy Cooking, Chef Jason
Ok. So what’s the total cooking time? Thanks for all your help! I truly appreciate your videos chef!
Hi carol, total cooking time was about 35 minutes. we cooked them to 155˚ F and then glazed them and finished them to 173˚ F. Chef Jason
@@ChefJasonMorse thank you! I was afraid I’d burn them & of course I pulled them early. Ha ha. They are a little raw on the in side. So, can I just warm them in the microwave tonight & all will be well? Thanks
Tx, sorry hard to hear what rubs you using first and second ? they are same ?
I used our Oink Rub and Rub-A-Dub. Chef Jason
Where do I get that chopping block?
Hi There - This is a close copy cat of that block.

Let’s say you have 100 legs, and you let the drumsticks marinate, and you don’t have a rack to get the internal temp to 123-145, could you skip that part and just place them on the grill to grill until golden brown? Would the chicken still come out successful?
That should work just fine. Make sure to rotate them while cooking so they don’t get too charred on one side. Happy cooking. Chef Jason
Do I have to use a drumstick rack
Not at all, it makes it easier so I don’t have to open and close the grill a bunch of times. Looking ain’t cooking they say 😂😂. Chef Jason
@@ChefJasonMorse thanks for reply. I love the seasons in this videos. So delicious
How is the fence so jank when repping ace hardware 😅
Good thing I painted it again. beyond Janky for sure. lol. Chef Jason

Why this guy look like Dj Khalid
DJ KHALID!!!! in the house. Good stuff. Have a great week. Chef Jason
Pro tip, pull the skin back and season it too
that can work too, for me I find it to be too much seasoning. but that's they beauty of these recipes, edit and adjust as you like. Happy Cooking, Chef Jason
Yang sayang aku like yang cinta allah coment.
Let me guess this guy likes glazing
Just my chicken legs. Chef Jason
The minimum safe cooking temperature for poultry is 165 deg F, not 155 deg F. 😲
Hi AudioPhile, we start to glaze them at 155° F. Then we say and show on screen to cook them to 170° - 175° depending on desired doneness. 😮. Chef Jason
@@ChefJasonMorse Very good, I missed that part. Hopefully there aren't people getting confused about the 155 deg F.
"TENDING TO THE GRILL" is the whole EXPERIENCE 😑
No charcoal grill.. yuck
Dude, you don't need that probe if you know how to make some simple chicken..
Dude, we use the probe to track temp so we know when it’s done. Our guests don’t like Chicken Sushi. Thanks for watching. Chef Jason
@@ChefJasonMorse Honestly if you are any kind of a real chef you should know when it's done. I've run several 5 star kitchens and would feel embarrassed and less than using one.
@@ricjeknings8050 boo. Don’t Be rude. This guy is helping so many
@@ricjeknings8050 well many of us on here are not real chefs, soooooo.

This is not how we grill chicken lol
Never trust someone with tattoos!!!
