I am the original owner of an all black 2003 GT V6, after 18 years of zipping around, the novelty of this snappy looking coupe has not worn off a bit!
So far in all these years, I've only replaced the radiator ( just today!), master clutch/slavecylinder, and starter motor. I had the timing belt changed 6 months ago as a major $$ preventive maintenance. 5 speed shifting is smooth, and the suspension is the very stiff 'European Tuned' version. Bought the Tib when I was in my 50's, now I'm in my 70's, and still digging every trip we take together!!
18 years! Wow. Here's to many more trouble free miles!

Bringing back the memories man ... got the 2005 for more than 10 years and I have to say that it is the most reliable car I have driven in my life with good maintenance...I got the Genesis coupe 3.8 2016 and still have it. But nothing beats this Coupe beauty ❤❤❤
Awesome, have heard a lot of good stuff about the reliability of the Coupe. They don't sell the Genesis coupe in the UK sadly, so I've never seen/driven one, but they look pretty cool too!
I also drive 2.0 2005, have it for 8 years now and cannot get bored. You're right about reliability, they really are tough if maintained well.
I owned a Tibby and loved it with all my soul, but you on crack if you saying it's better than the Genny

Bought 2007 coupe with v6 a month ago. Im really happy with the purchase! Previous owner had issues with a/c and power steering but I have already fixed that. Was choosing my first car between Honda civic coupe and hyundai coupe. Headlight switch is on the left side of the steering wheel. Greetings from Russia!

I have a yellow 2.7 6 speed and I love it! The trunk space is so handy and the engine has lots of pep. Handles corners like a champ as well

I own a Hyundai Coupe 2.0 liters 143hp (unleaded) model. It's my every day car since i bought it brand new in january 2009.
She's now 265.000 km.
Engine have NO leak, i never had any problem with it and i still enjoy to drive it as much as when it was brand new. I just changed the shock absorbers at 265.000 km because they started to be a bit tired. I use Michelin Pilot Sport tires that improve A LOT the handling of the car and the grip.
That's by far the most reliable car i ever owned and it also offers plenty of space in the back, specialy for a 2+2 coupe and again more space when the back seats are folded.
Consumption is not bad too (an average of 7.5 liters for 100km on road + town usage)
Seats are confortable with a good support in the curves.
The legend says that its frame was designed by Porsche...

I had a 2005 TIburon SE V6 with the 6 speed manual. I Loved it. The engine sounded sooo good. Not very fast but very satisfying. It was also extremely reliable in the time I had it. I believe that is probably the factory head unit and the fact that its lights up the same blue is proof. Mine had a similarly aftermarket looking Kenwood unit that lit up the same red color as my gauges. I think Hyundai that would appeal to the car's target demographic.
I’ve got a 2007 Tiburon GT 2.7 and it’s a blast. I’ve done a couple things to it and it’s so enjoyable to drive! I’ve had it for 2 years now.

I’ve got a red S111 and call it my ferlali (Asian ferrari!) I love the car. It’s a 2008, 2 litre, owned it for 10 years, has 106k miles on it now. It’s not particularly quick off the line and the steering is a bit heavy but go round tight corners well. Air con & heated seats as standard. I’ve had nothing really go wrong with it, the most reliable car I’ve ever had! A real head turner!!

I got the 2003 1.6 version as my first car a couple of months ago and tbh even tho it isnt the fastest car i love it and driving it has been the best part of my day
Lovely example for an 09'er, I always did like the Hyundai Coupe. Would be nice to see Hyundai bring out a new version of this one day, I doubt they will though. 🙄

i’ve got a 1.6l from 2008 and i absolutely love it, just passed 80,000 miles on it and got it a new clutch. so fun to drive and sounds great too

@@JJonCars it was quite expensive, I got it done with new discs and pads for £750, but it’s well worth it and it’ll keep it running good for many more miles 👍
@@samalexanders7280 Apparently the clutch is a tricky one, so that's not so bad with the discs and pads on top. Good to keep it on the road for years more!
Excellent well balanced review - thank you. I had one of these S111, just in dark grey. Superbly reliable, so stylish and strong, as I found out when a deer jumped over a bank and landed on the bonnet! Only body panel damage. Great cruiser covering distances easily and rapidly, but it's big drawback, particularly around broken-top S.E. England roads was that hard ride. If only Hyundai had given someone like Lotus a free hand to work some chassis magic combining road holding and comfort, it would have been a truly great Coupe. I miss that car now, it had character, which most modern all purpose tin boxes so lack.
Thanks Andrew! They look great in dark grey - especially with the red leather interior (though I am a sucker for a red leather interior!) Exactly right, great looking, well built. But the ride is not ideal haha. At least it makes it feel more purposeful/sporty. But yes I think they could have achieved that handling/ride balance, but I bet we'd be paying more money for them now.

I have a 2002 Tiburon V6 auto. The first thing I did saw to re-badge it as a Tuscani, no reference to Hyundai anymore. Then fitted a carbon fibre fuel cover and an set of updated blue gauges. It came with 17"inch wheels and I love it.Very happy . :)
Currently wanting to rebadge as a well. On a bright note it’s a carbon fiber hood now so no Hyundai emblem. Not even sure it says Hyundai on the back i don’t check enough to remember.
Purchased a 1.6L 2007 5 speed manual last year and putting some cash in it to bring it up to the standards i would like. Previous owner didn't appreciate or took well care of it easthetically at all but getting there. Its a fantastic looking car and one of the best if not the best coupe for the price. I'll keep fixing it and hopefully enjoy it for many years to come.

I own a 2.0 2007 one of these and it's a great car, great looks with so much equipment for the money and if it had a 6 speed box instead of a 5 speed it would have everything. In fact it's made finding a replacement for it really difficult as nothing else comes close. I disagree about the sound though, IMO for a reasonably modern multi-valve engine it's quite harsh through the rev range with no real sweet spot like many have when they come on cam(s) it's not a deal breaker however. I have a system for buying cars where I try and buy for £3k run for 5 years then sell for £1k as this I feel gives the most cost efficient motoring but I bought mine for £3k I've been running it for 6 years and I reckon I could still get £2k if I sold it today.
I didn't mention it, but I had the same thought about the gearbox - it could really use another gear.
That's a very good system, quite similar to mine - except I usually get bored and buy something else when I shouldn't! Thanks for watching :)
I am trying install 6 gear on my 2.0 Coupe 2008, waiting for gearbox and additional parts.
It's not MFA60 because it's rare (I've found it but it costs 3500$ for g4gc engine), but M5CF2 with additional gear from diesel hyundai i30. If it succeeds, I will get 140kmh/3000 rpm on a sixth gear.

Awesome video, here in Korea there's a lot of these models Tuscani from 2004-2009 versions still being sell around the price you said but in Korean won (1.700.000₩- 6.500.000₩).

I just picked up 2004 2.0 for £400 😜 and I love it, of course few bits need to be fixed. Every time when I drive it i have big smile on my face, I can drop my 2 kids to school and then on the way back have some fun 🤩

I have the same model, engine and colour (and mileage!) and I love it!
I had Ford Pumas (3 of 'em!) for 13 years, once they became too old and rare to get another decent one quickly 2 years ago when my last one died beyond revival I opted for the SIII coupe! (After a brief and disastrous 3 weeks with a mk2 Tigra - what was I thinking?! haha)
It is also worth mention there is a FANTASTIC (Hyundai-approved) owners club! A ridiculous amount of knowledge and experience on there, the most information and helpful owners club I have ever come across ranging across all models from the original scoupe right up until the SIII. I got SO involved in this car I am now admin for the owners club.
I have made a few cosmetic tweaks and some upgrades over the last couple of years of my coupe, they are easy enough to work on and it always been a car I look back at after I have parked up.
A lot of owners choose to debadge or rebadge with Tuscani, personally I haven't as I didn't fancy a life of "what is it?!" everywhere I go (I get that enough with my dog, a Japanese Spitz!)
Rear parking sensors on mine help with the limited rear visibility.
Heated seats, cruise control, AC, sunroof, 2 conveniently placed cup holders etc what more could you want?! It's very well equipped for the age I find.
Eats up motorway miles no problem.
The 2L is also hailed as the most reliable of the 3 engine choices and the most popular.
The looks are unmatched I find in the reliability and price range! It is BEAUTIFUL.

I know what you mean about the re-badging though I was guilty of it with the Cougar (got the cougar head badge to make it look like a Mercury). But I quite enjoyed the 'what is that?' comments 😂

I concur. The HCOC is full of friendly advice and will save you money by showing you what you can DIY and where to get cheap parts and service. Even Hyundai main dealers can occasionally do deals, like the the £13 actuator cable, that was £49 elsewhere and 6-8 week wait from Korea. It is also the most reliable car I have ever owned. I currently drive an 03 SE with 145k on the clock, and EVERYTHING on it works like new but the paintwork is knackered and there are small non structural rust spots in the arches. It sails through MoTs with no more than advisories on consumables like tyres, brakes, gaiters etc, although I think my next MoT might be an expensive fail as there is a small hole in the exhaust which might be larger by January 2022! I am hoping to replace it with an 09 Siii soon.

I agree about the bumps in that the car seems to take the blunt of the bumps on the road. I paid $5,500 for mine 6 years ago. It’s a 2005. I have 205,800 miles on it and it runs flawlessly. I'm 59 , bought my 1.6 4 years ago,spent some money on the body repair and some mechanical.Very dependable,great fun to drive.Love it wouldn't sell it , overall brilliant car for the money .Still looks class in my humble opinion.

I still have my 2008 tiburon gs 5spd, is still runs great.i give my tib a lot of love, i know is not fast but i dont care cause i bought it for its looks and thats all i care. So reliable for an old hyundai car.
I have an 04 with all the face lifts to 05 & absolutely love it. I've had it for 7 years now & still miss it when it's put away for winter. The only thing I don't like is that they're getting really hard to find these days, so I'm genuinely afraid that if I ever get into an accident that I wont be able to find another one to replace it. There's just something special about it that new cards fail to capture & I honestly haven't been able to find a single other car that feels even remotely as "right" as my Tiburon. It was love at first sight for me when I was looking for cars after I crashed my 02 focus, as soon as I saw one on craigslist I knew I had to have one.
The newer Genesis coupes ain’t to shabby themselves honestly and make way more power but I do agree that it’s just a hard beastie to wanna replace.
Had the 2002 1.6 model ten or eleven years ago and loved it,I know it was low in power but I had no problem traveling at speed if needed, I'm actually in the process of buying another one, looking into the 2006 model as it's my favorite

I have a 06 Orange Crush V-6 SE . Bought brand new. Love the bucket seats love the way it handles. It is a small car not a family car but great for road trips for 2 and a couple of small dogs mine is a manual 6 speed. So I would not want to commute in stop and go traffic. I get tons of compliments from drive throughs from the younger generation more so the color of it that stands out. I have tinted the windows and it looks prime !! Great video ! I like to say it’s a Hy un day .. a little different then the American pronunciation!

I'm up to my third Tiburon. I've had a royal blue 2003 Tuscani, a silver 2006 6 speed GT and now a silver 2008 automatic GT. The main issue with them is O2 sensors. I still love them though. I used to only have Nissan Z cars and the Tib was the closest in drive feel to my 1990 300ZX 2+2 . People did think my Tuscani was a Ferrari!
I have a 2007 and have to say ,the best car I have had sofar.The Style hasen,t dated.Nice to own and drive, very reliable.Love it.
Never owned one, but have always admired the looks of these Gen 2 Hyundai Coupes. The Gen 1 was an absolute dog but they really did a good job with this model! PS. Just love your content. Every video is content that I want to watch. Much prefer vids of cheap, affordable cars than supercars. Fave YT car channel!

And what is mind-blowing for me: you almost did a video on my own car! It looks almost the same as mine :) Just a few nuances. I bought mine 3 months ago, no problems so far :) (it's from 2007) And after I park it, I just stare like a person in love. I just can't leave it alone and always looking to drive after the job/in spare time :P Superb handling, but it could use 6th gear, especially on highways :P Greetings from Poland :)

It's definitely one of those cars that you would turn around to look at as you walk away, it's one of the criteria I have when I'm buying a car :) I agree on the 6th gear.

Had a 2006 Tib . Had 200k trouble free enjoyable miles ! Fun when people would always ask me what kind of car is that ! They were rare then & never seen one now ! Had to part with it after 12yrs to pay my tax in 2018 ! I own a Subaru BRZ but still miss the Tib !
I have owned 2 Tiburons/Coupes, both 2004 1.6 models. Best car I have ever owned for price, reliability and cool factor. On mine the hyndai badges are removed, I've had people ask me if it is a ferrari, or if it is a tesla :-)

I drive SE 2005, sometimes I wished I had 2.7, but V6 version was less reliable, and not economic to drive around London. Few simple mods can add that 20bhp to make it really powerful and reliable unit, if properly maintained of course.
I LOVED my 2003 Tibby drove beautifully and NEVER had an issue with it

Got 2.0 l s3 172000 miles on the clock 07 plate. Still going strong. Still drives well. No real issues with it at all just routine services. Excellent car don't think I will ever sell it tobe honest
172k! That's probably the highest mileage I've heard of on one :) You gotta get it to half a million miles now haha
Solid car had mine from new 2006 till 2024. Rust got it in the end. Uptil that point it was a great car.

I have had the 2.0 TSIII for 6 years now and love owning it. Up rated suspension, four exhaust ends (two fake) better spoiler and upgraded interior from the SIII as standard.....still a head turner and will be sad to change it out but they dont last for ever.
Its quite unfortunate that dealer support was lacking in the states. Even as the brand had good reliability (Mazda of Korea- also sold as Kia) Now 30 years later early versions are history. Glad your keeping it alive.
The SIII was such a beautiful car blending the styling of the MK1 with then modern design (leaps and bounds better than the RD2) and that interior was very handsome. I like the baby blue shade.
I'd buy one but even in lower engine guise the Coupe has always been highly taxed and prone to rotting. It also compares roughly on par with my 14 plate Insignia diesel. I also enjoy my friends Coupe MPG gauge as the needle flips to basically zero under acceleration

Nice one, that's a long time to own a car! You're right, by todays standards the mpg isn't so good, and especially hurts with the price of petrol at the moment!
@@JJonCars that's the only down side is the mpg, apart from that I bought it at 3k miles and now 55k,doeent owe me anything and very little maintenance needed, I rarely bother with servicing and jt still goes like it did when I bought it. I had a 2006 2.7 GT model with a 5 speed and a lightweight flywheel. Thing was an absolute blast to drive and looked so good. Never gave any issues. 100% recommend.
Sweet, I'd not heard of the GT model, I think because it was sold in the US and not the UK. Heard nothing but good stuff about reliability :)
Just bought a 06 V6gt in 2021 still turns heads and still drives great ... bought with 97k miles on it

Only issue was the tracking being way off! Apparently happens to coupes a lot so you’ll often fail an MOT because of tread. But it’s fun to drive

Bought my coupe 1 year ago with only 9k miles!
Is automatic and is quick off the line, I really like it. I only have a few mates and most drive so not fussed about the back seats, although I have had 1 adult in the back. They have to sit in the middle and spread their legs between the foot Wells for any sort of comfort.
Its is a good looking car, mine is a silver s3 like this and sounds nice to.
Only issue is If you want to have fun with it it will get quite thirsty. I know its naughty but I think the quickest I got in it until I had to slow down was 112.
9k miles, that's so low! Makes you wonder what the previous owner was doing with it! Automatics are quite nice off the line as you don't have to time the clutch right, just mash the pedal and away you go :)
@@JJonCars i believe the previous owner had some sort of illness or injury preventing from driving much further than the shop. Otherwise the car was in very good condition.

Let me get one thing straight I owned a Hyundai coupe Tsiii the car wasn't too bad, the clutch bite is very high on these cars it's a real head turner and the 2.0 petrol engine it's no slouch you just need to push it hit the limiter and the thing goes great review!!

Here in Greece, the local importer, ran a programme of turbomoding the anemic 1.6 motor to 145bhp! It was quite a reliable modification too.
Rumor says, they've done that without permission from Hyundai of Korea, and that the Koreans were not very happy about that!
Close the sunroof shade, that's where most of your wind noise is coming from. Owned one since 2016 but sadly the end is near as the rear arches have started to rust out
I purchased a 2008 new during the economic slowdown of that era. It was the US spec (called Tiburon in the US) left hand drive model but basically identical (also silver) for about $13,500.00 new (~$18,500 list price) which included a 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty! I need a car to leave at my second home in South Florida. The car is now 15 years old with only 12,400 miles, always been garage kept and used regularly, be it sparingly, throughout the years. It is virtually still a new car.
It is such an incredibly beautiful and now unique sporty car, no one believes it’s a Hyundai and I have been tempted to remove the emblems and badging to further confuse admirers, it truly looks like a modern sports car costing much much more! This style Tiburon was only sold as 2007 and 2008 in the US and I guessing the production numbers are extremely low with almost none left on the roads anymore. It’s a sporty, good handling, nice firm riding car that keeps up with traffic and gets good gas mileage. I’ve replaced the battery 2 times and changed the oil regularly, no other problems. Since it’s been garage kept, even though it’s been in Florida since I bought it, there’s no UV cracking on any of the plastic or rubber parts including the original tires. Oh yeah, the turn signal is on the left hand side of the steering wheel as with all US spec cars I’ve ever driven which dates back to the days of column shift manual transmissions (right side shifter).
Nice and rare, makes it even more interesting then in the US. You should donate yours to a museum when it comes time to move it on 😄
Funny enough, I learned to drive in an '06 SE mode and it was my first car. My instructors car was a Focus MK3. My partner also drives a Mk3 Focus and when she swapped between the two the only way she could describe it was. "My car is practical, yours is just fun". The only gripe I had that catches everyone off guard is the clutch is ridiculously high. When that car died. I bought a '58 SIII model and still enjoy it was all its extras.
Yep she summed that up well, though it is quite impressive what you can get in the boot of the Coupe with the seats down. I learned in a Focus too, albeit a Mk1. Interesting - I noticed when driving the Coupe, that the accelerator pedal was very sensitive, so I'd often get more revs than I'd like, making it harder to drive smoothly when pulling away etc
@@JJonCars Someone once asked me why I bother driving it instead of something simple. I replied with its like a child: It can be really annoying, not do what its told, loud, can be a massive money sink. But if someone tried to take it away from me I'd fight them.
Edit: Recommended size for rear passengers is about 5'2 at best.

I'm driving a 2007 2.0, best value for money out of the multitude of cars I've had. Also finding it difficult to find a replacement, though that's not really any immediate concern. Shame the concept of a cheap coupe is kinda gone, sometimes day past were actually better.
Agreed - the 90's and maybe early 00's was the heyday for great looking affordable coupes. Sadly now it's all SUVs, and the 'Coupe SUVs' which are just not the same! Keep that Hyundai on the road as long as possible :)
There was also a version with a 1.6 turbo engine (at least in rest of Europe) with 145hp, named imaginatively the s145

Awesome. Reminds me that for the Veloster they made sure to move the single rear door to the kerb side for both left and right hand drive cars, despite having to produce whole different body panels as a result. Other car companies with that layout just left the door on the same side, which meant in right hand drive countries the door would open into traffic - no good if you have kids in the back. So they really are thoughtful!
I own a 2004 Toyota celica with 29,000 miles. These hyundai coupes catch my eye because they look quite nice and seem similar to my car.

i've had my 2005 tiburon gt v6 for 16 years now. Very reliable. I use it for construction and hauling lumber. What? The trunk is almost 15 cubic feet with seats up. and more with down. If you fold the front seat, you can fit 2x4's inside. Longest wood I've hauled is 14ft. Only drawback is the automatic is sluggish. You got to mash the pedal to hit the power bump at 4000rpm. Every new car is a downgrade from this. I got a sunroof, hatchback, all soft-touch materials top to bottom. I put in a bluetooth head unit with pandora/phone and backup camera. So now its like a new car
I've heard nothing but good comments about the reliability of the Tiburon/Coupe :)

I liked these. Wish I bought one when I bought an i30 in 2008. I had a look at it in the showroom at the time but went for the boring. I like 3 door coupes. I had a Vauxhall Astra J GTC which was a good car apart from the massive doors which meant getting in and out was difficult in tight spaces.
Pretty sure Hyundai did the Coupe with a V6 engine. ...... I got to the end and you mentioned the other engines

Always loved these, personally i'm a huge fan of the 2003 gt v6 version, it's just everything i didn't know i wanted in a car. It also looks like a Ferrari 456 like Richard Hammond on Top Gear said. I wish to own one of these one day but where i live it's not so cheap to own a Coupe. So i hope to get a Toyota Starlet as a first car and see how things go from there. The Starlet is also great so it works out. Good video aswell!

Interesting. It will feel slow compared to the BMW and probably less premium. But also more affordable to run and better looking. If that's what you're after then go for it :)
Ive got an 03 2.7 litre 5 speed. its a fun car. not exactly what i wanted but its what i got and i dont hate it. and yes LHD does have left hand blinkers. :)

I was a big fan of these back in the noughties. Finally test drove one (2.0 siii) back in 2010 or so and I was so underwhelmed by the performance. Shame because it was such a handsome car and looks good today.

I had an 04, V6. Great car. Love to get one now but the road tax is horrendous, over £500 a year now. Terrible fuel economy too, it cost a fortune to fuel up even in the late 00s.

I have a baby blue S3 2007 which I love to the core. I say everyday it will break me the day I get / need a new one🥹🩵. When I got the car 3 years ago , the exhaust was dropped down, but it gave it an extra sporty sound so I left it. recently had two parts of the exhaust changed (thats the only thing I have ever had to do with the car) to make it a little quieter. Since then, I am hearing a noise when I turn & I am thinking of getting a new car the but the LOVE I have for the car (interior & exterior) is making me think not to. I don't think I will sell it (I dont think I can😭😭😭😭💔) but I feel like I need a new one as I feel like I would be putting money into something thats worth is going down 😣

Now, where I'm from, we didn't get this iteration of the Tiburon / Coupe. We only had the first generation, then got the Genesis coupe really. And this version is really beautiful, and refreshes the car quite a bit. The design is sleek.

I had a test drive of the Hyundai Coupe many years ago, and was so disappointed that my ample frame made for a most uncomfortable experience! I bought a Hyundai i30 1.6 Premium CRDi - great spec and performance, and plenty of room!
There's definitely a compromise on comfort for its looks/performance. Sounds like you got the right car for you :)
I'm 6'2 and I think it's great in regards to space... plenty of headroom and a very comfortable driving position with comfortable seats that have good adjustments. I think there's like a sweet spot with this car where the taller you are past a certain point the further back from the windscreen you are, the more leg space and the more head space you get with the seating position whereas average height people struggle with it because they have to sit closer to the wheel, and so closer to the windscreen and therefore have less head space and comfort.

That would probably put me off too lol. Was it a model with a sunroof? Sometimes you get more headroom when there isn't one.
in sweden we call it Hyn-Dai i just bought myself a Hyundai coupe 2.7L V6 from 2003. but i need idea for what to do with it. just under 100k miles on it and cam belt was recently swaped at a hyundai workshop. no rust under her and just a slight bit starting to show on the rear fender which im fixing this weekend. but i wanna maybe put a skirt kit. and i will wrap her since the paint job is worn out after not being looked after correctly. the rest is good condition but the paint job is :/
Good to know there are even more pronunciations! Sounds like you've got a good solid car to work with, better than a car that looks nice, but is just rusty metal underneath :)

They rust in the same 2 or 3 spots on the fenders. I think its because dirt builds up on the mounting screw tabs and hold moisture to the metal. I removed a golf ball sized of sticky black dirt from mine last year. If you periodically take off the arch liners and clean them out with a pressure washer, then perhaps a coat of rust inhibitor it should stop the problem forming. This is something I'll do with my next car.
The rear arches can be replaced but its a body shop job and both arches cost about £350 parts only. Welding, Respray and labour? Might as well look for another car.
if you want the same platform but a much more sporty care chekc out the Hyundai Genesis 2.0t or the hyundai Veloster turbo

Performance, I'd say they are quite equal. Acceleration is similar, the CLK seems to have sharper steering, but they both handle well in the corners.
Comfort - the CLK wins on this one quite easily. You'd expect Mercedes to be on top here :)
Reliability - I'd give that to the Hyundai. Especially if you spend £2700-£3000 as you should get a really good condition Coupe with low miles. And it should be cheaper to run and maintain in the long run. I've heard some good stories about how reliable they can be.
Style/looks - Very subjective, but overall I think the Hyundai looks better, but that said, I like the understated looks of the CLK.
Fuel consumption - probably quite similar, but the Coupe being manual and lighter should get perhaps 5 mpg more than the CLK.
Not an easy decision, but hope this helps!

Well, I would pick the CLK. And you know how I know that? Because the CLK is my car 😄 If you'd asked me 5-10 years ago I'd have probably picked the Coupe, but I do appreciate more comfort now.
This is a good point, you can fit adults in the back of the CLK, still not recommended for really long journeys but a lot lot better than the Coupe, which can only really fit children in the back!

I sold mine back in 2016 I think it was. I'd had it 5 years and it was reliable, all I remember needing to sort beyond usual maintenance was the power steering cooler which had rusted through. So a good solid reliable car over 30,000 miles or so. (60k to 90k). Problem with them now is they are so rare! I'm sure if you can find a rust free one that has been looked after it would still be a good reliable car.
