The 296 GTB surprised me for sure. Knew it would be quicker than the GT2 RS, even the F8 Tributo is. But I didn’t expect it to launch that well and consistently beat the 765LT in the standing races!

@@Smzxe You have no clue what you’re talking about. A customer owned 296 GTB has already run 9.7 @ 146 on 91 octane at 700’ altitude (imagine it on 93 octane). The 296 is extremely fast. Mine is much faster than my 992 Turbo S was (no stock Turbo S is running 9’s), and also faster than my F8 Tributo, which is also faster than my Turbo S was. The video is real.

@@BenzMusoni HP by itself isnt just what gets it there. The launch and how its electric motor compliments the curve and fills in for the boost all work brilliantly as well. The 765 on outright pace up top should have it but low to mid range the 296 is formidable

There aren't many tests of the 296 on race tracks yet (it's too new of a car), but the 765 and GT2 RS have been tested on 6 shared tracks. The 765 was faster on 3, and the GT2 was faster on 3. So they're very even.

The Porsche is the least aerodynamic (but probably the fastest on a racing circuit bc of downforce) …but best overall and most reliable for sure. And WHERE apart from a racing circuit (and a few German autobahn kilometers) can you really use that much power?! NO WHERE! In contrary: isn’t it frustrating to have a car (and paid a lot for it) which you can almost only „fully“ use in first and second gear before you‘re braking the law (with all the consequences)? Du meinst den GT2 RS? Weil es kein klassisches Aftermarkettuning ist, sondern direkt über Porsche durch ein Kreuz bei den Extras bestellt werden konnte. Ähnlich Audi Performanceparts oder M Performance Parts bei BMW

At higher speeds the wings of the GT2RS kick in and slow the car down. The GT2RS is a track car and no dragracer, esp. with the Manthey kit.

@@Smzxe I guess mclaren 765lt can be better, but if mclaren can be better then ferrari 296 too, I think for good conditions 296 will be able to 9.8-10.0 sec. Electric motors help a little.

Derek K 2019 720s was trapping 9.8 @146.7 mph at 1/4 mile on the street with Toyo R888s tires
Drag times had 2017 720s still it was also trapping 145 mph so these McLarens are faster

Du meinst den GT2 RS? Weil es kein klassisches Aftermarkettuning ist, sondern direkt über Porsche durch ein Kreuz bei den Extras bestellt werden konnte. Ähnlich Audi Performanceparts oder M Performance Parts bei BMW
Lieber so wie gar kein GT2... haben wohl nur einen mit Manthey Performance Kit ranbekommen fürs Drag Race
