I love how similar this was to Kraven’s Last Hunt. Where Peter got killed by Kraven by a poisonous blade (I’d assume the blade Kraven has here was poisonous). And I’m surprised nobody’s bringing up how freaking EPIC the black suit gameplay is !!! I’m shocked some people didn’t like this… I thought it was bone-chilling! You also can’t have Peter always win because then he’ll be a Mary Sue. One of the reasons why he’s a great character is because he’s flawed; his job is so dangerous, and all it takes is a huge dagger to the liver (he also got stabbed while throwing a punch at someone else)! Don’t forget Kraven studied and prepared himself for almost every superhero/supervillain before arriving in NYC (which is shown in the game).
Yeah I loved the scene and the symbiote is amazing but the getting stabbed and almost dying made no sense to me. He's gone through much worse. I mean was it poisoned?

This reminds me a LOT of Ghost of Tsushima, with Jin Sakai gaining the Ghost Stance in that game. The same cathartic power trip feeling and everything.

Why doesn't anyone talk about the Agent Venom suit I love how it doesn't look like an alien but just a regular armor suit it looks more like an alien when it bonds with Peter and I think the reason why is because when it bonds with him he has his suit on so obviously the Symbiote is going to try and recreate that but honestly probably failed miserably
Nah probably mean that the symbiote become stronger with pete . 1 : bc of peter spider ability and thats why symbiote was more interested in peter than harry who s sick . Make him a way better host 2. Symbiote become stronger when u feed it of negative emotions even in the symbiotic rage the costumes looks more like spidey version of venom with the spider scheme being bigger every things is satisfying when u play it and its what the symbiote is all about . And when the symbiote strong enough and the bond with the host is symbiotic unlike peter who wanted to stay himself and finally rejected it give you venom whos clearly alien shaped and doesnt even hide it ( make sens theyre called symbiote).
I think the blade Kraven stuck into Peter was definitely poisoned, and it was definitely a powerful poison too, in Spider-Man 1 MJ said that Peter had been cut off before and was able to recover within a few days and the way she described it definitely sounded like it was a worse injury than this stab wound and Peter was still able to make his way to MJ’s house but here literally just died in a few minutes. So the blade Kraven used was probably poisoned

But can we congratulate Graham Phillips for voicing Harry in this, he truly did a magnificent job of portraying a tragic, dying friend who wanted nothing more than to fulfill a mother's promise while he still was alive. (not that I haven't forgotten he IS alive, just in a coma)

When you finish the main story, you’ll only have anti venom abilities, no normal symbiote anymore. I completed the main story, but there is no regular symbiote abilities. Just anti venom abilities. Im just using the spider arms.

We know that the symbiote is sentient and has a will of its own I'm thinking it always wanted Peter since he stronger than Harry and not sick like him he even states later that he wasn't sure how he transferred the suit over to Peter and then the suit's refusal to go back to Harry. Even later when Harry becomes Venom they plead with Peter to join them while part of that was probably Harry not wanting to fight his best friend I'm guessing if the opportunity presented itself the symbiote would've gone back to Peter in a heartbeat. Look at it from the symbiote's perspective would you want the strong and agile superhero or the sick and dying man?

I'm playing new game plus, and it sucks that his suit doesn't change to the dark suit during the cutscene on new game +... He just stays with whatever suit you have on and you have to manually change it in the menu. I hate breaking immersion

When it comes to the black suit and Venoms powers games like Prototype did all this stuff way better years ago and is far cheaper too but when it comes to the game in general its actually worse then 1 in a lot of ways, this is game is overrated and not that great for what its asking for which is around $60 to $100 (depending where you live) for a 11 to 12 hours of cutscenes of a poorly told story added with some poorly done and forced stealth sections and a lot of dumb woke stuff in between with some of the worst character models and textures i have seen lately, really disappointing tbh but thats sadly modern gaming these days
