After practicing this a gazillion times, I’m having fun with it, but I had to play something else for awhile, I’m singing it in my sleep, lol but I was wondering if you might do your version of Sound of Silence...After Simon and Garfunkel s, and then hearing Disturbs version I can just imagine your voice killing it..Yes?
I'm assuming the 18 dislikes to this video are those who have never played guitar and just hate Willie Nelson, for this is one of the best tutorials I have ever seen for a guitar lesson. its because its not Willie Nelson's song, its Hank Williams song.
youre the only one who teaches that tricky descending chord run that brings the solo back to IV ......respect man ...

I dig the way you present this. I’ve seen a hundred TH-cam guitar teachers. Honestly I’m not a country guy, but I’m thinking of my grampa today and he was a huge Willie fan. That and I just bought some of his product in Colorado got me thinking of this song.

Willie's the best. I always feel good listening to his music. Riot cops have it all wrong. Forget tear gas and pepper spray and rubber bullets and crap. Just start playing Willie and everyone will chill.

I have listened to this song well over 100 times since I was a young kid in the early 80's I remember my mom playing this on the record player and I can sing it word for word without the music now. I need to learn this riff.

Id love to be able to play this in memory of my dad who was one of willies biggest fans . This was played as we laid him to rest after his battle with cancer , unfortunately my talent wont allow but im going to have a good go thanks for the tutorial
you can do it just simplify dont do the walk ups and walk downs and use B7 instead of B simple 3 chord song then. Check Party Martyon you tube for simple version.

I've been waiting for a tutorial like this one for years! The strange minor 6 jazzy chords Willie does!! Great job and thank you! In a live show he does a jazzy scale before the A chord coming back from the solo to the structure.

hey there, this is my first video that i have just watched and attempted to play with on guitar, i play on an Electric Keyboard mostly, and a month ago it got damaged after 7 years of having it, luckily my brother had a Acoustic Guitar and ever since i have been messing around with it. i already have some knowledge of music theory and reading sheet music that coupled with my ability of playing by ear helps me a lot with my music, i got the basic root notes down and decided to straight away look for a video on youtube and figure out the song, which key, which chord progression etc. and man oh man you just inspired me to learn how to play guitar fully. thank you so so much, hope you have success with all projects, and hope your channel gains more success. you just gained a new subscriber. you have an awesome voice by the way, might even compete with the big man himself haha. again, i thank you.

This is fine if you have someone else playing rhythm during the bridge. But it's useless if there is only one guitar as the bridge will sound flat. Could you make one that allows us to play rhythm along with the bridge?

I'm not a bigginer, and that B bar chord whoops my ass. It sounds best in this song. I've just never been able to get my ring finger to flex right. Zero problems with other bar chords. I can't use one finger on the first position A chord either. Anyone else?
