Glad toby fox did this, in a game series notorious for self-awareness about being a video game, you can't remove a technique you can SPAM on a boss called SPAMton.
oh my god, [[BIG SHOT]] strat is in shambles, this is so cool that he left it in the game but punish you in another way lol, makes sense as you're [[Spamming Big Shots]].
Okay, this is hilarious. Oh no he's mad. I'm actually more excited that he fixed the fight against the DJs though - their attacks went on for something like an entire minute for one turn for me, which felt like overkill.
Based on some ch2 equipment it sound like grazing attacks reduces the length of the enemies' turn, which might be why I didn't really notice their turns being super long

@@c1oudsky there are two shoot buttons. if programmed as "while holding shoot: increment charge; while not holding shoot, reset charge" *and* "release shoot: shoot based on current charge" then it can happen based on the game engine it could be more intuitive to make it like that than otherwise
I can't wait for Toby to employ this same risk & reward strategy for the F1 secret, and make it so that if you use F1 too much, Spamton scams you IRL and takes 1,000 KROMER from you I like it when gaming exploits are fixed in funny ways like this, Toby made a great decision here
I beat him normally because the first time I didn't know that existed then later I found out and got to his fight again just to see if it worked and then beat him using it and since I'm using a controller it is kinda a pain holding enter while trying to press the buttons on my controller so next time I wanna fight him again imma just keep doing it the normal way.

at the end of chapter 2 when queen gets there, when no one is following you go to the dummy and hug it, when u go talk to ralsei after he will say something adorable
@@Kaleidio He literally made it a feature by adding a button to make it easier to abuse. I haven't played this fight yet, so i can't say how difficult/easy was to do this in the previous version, but i don't think he expected this to happen since it breaks so much the dynamics of the battle (a lot of his attack patterns gets utterly destroyed if you just spam BIG SHOTS. )

This is so fucking cool, instead of taking away a cool but busted glitch, he made it a more active choice of the fight, balancing it out. Now you can use it if you don't wanna deal with a specific move or you are almost winning so you can be safer there. Maybe you just do it to be more hard. Fantastic change

Not only did he hard code it in, he added a lot of depth to the mechanics of it. The replay value of this boss just skyrocketed, and all from a glitch.

I figured it was supposed to get uncomfortably longer as the battle went on to stress the need for someone to ACT now before it gets really bad
Spamton's little healing angel at 0:40 with the rapid headpats is the one thing about this boss that has brought me joy
This seems like a great solution. Especially for speed runners or people trying to no hit.
