How do I get someone to like me more? "In college, there was this girl who I thought to be the most annoying person on the planet. Let’s call her Nicole. I can’t put my finger on what annoyed me so much, but all I can say is it was really hard for me to be in a good mood when I was around her. One day, I complained about her to my best friend. I told her how much I dreaded Nicole coming around. She said, “Really? Nicole really likes you. Whenever I mention you she talks about how fit, beautiful, and smart you are as an engineer.” That shut me up immediately. And from that day forward, I had a lot more tolerance for Nicole. I actually kind of liked her, though I still didn’t want to be best friends with her. It’s hard to dislike someone who’s been saying wonderful things about you to everyone you know." _You want someone to like you?_ *Start talking about them behind their back, but only in the nicest way possible.* *What you say will get back to them.*
I do this subconsciously I guess. Just don't let myself tell unpleasant things about anyone behind their backs. Even if I know that someone doesn't particularly like me, I say positive things about this person because in the eye so of the person I'm talking to I become the person who doesn't say anything bad behind someone's back. If I hear you telling me what an awful person someone is, I think awful not about him or her but about you.
I try hard to only talk about someone as if they were possibly listening at the table next to me. And I also sometimes try to think, If I wanted to give them a piece of critical but not harsh or judgemental advice, what or how might I say it? The former has saved me a few times, either when the person really was nearby or when the recipient was actually a friend or good acquaintance. The later has helped me as I’ve sought to reduce my own (unhelpful) habit of “complaining” in favor of trying to be more focused on helpful feedback. (Bill Bowen’s 21 Day No Complaint challenge defines something as not complaining if you are politely addressing the a person who may reasonably be expected to help with an issue.)
I totally get you, there’s someone who is so annoying that you don’t want to see/ meet her and it’s hard to pin point what’s annoying you, esp it will make you sound petty and childish when you tell a friend about it because it’s usually something trivial. That person is like the friendliest and warmest human being you ever met and at the same time I can just tell she’s so fake and I wanna puke. So I just shut my mouth and keep a good distance. Don’t say a bad word about her to anyone.

We would honestly love a breakdown of Ariana Grande’s Body Language (like her Eyebrow raises, How she moves etc) because that’s the thing that her Impersonators copy the most. Also what made her be copied so much?
It’s interesting your videos mostly focus on confidence and charisma from a male perspective, would be great to see more from a female perspective cos a lot of the techniques you recommend tend to back fire due to societal bias. Emily does really well due to her British sense of humour and disarming accent. Great video!

7 Habits That Damage your Brain There are certain lifestyle habits that affect our brains. These habits can threaten the health of our brains significantly, even when the connection isn’t obvious. From denying the brain important nutrients to the killing of brain cells and exposing us to mental disorders like depression or anxiety, as well as physical ailments like Alzheimer’s, stroke, epilepsy, and even cancer. 7 COMMON HABITS THAT DAMAGE YOUR BRAIN Skipping Breakfast: Breakfast is considered the most important meal of the day and skipping this meal can result in low blood sugar levels, which is very damaging to the brain. The brain uses more energy than any other organ in the body and regularly denying the brain enough nourishment causes a deficit in that energy budget, causing the brain to become less responsive to stimuli. Chronic Stress: While situational stress is good for the body as it prepares it to fight or flee in the face of danger, chronic stress builds up the hormone cortisol in the brain and causes lasting damage. Chronic stress also kills brain cells and causes the brain to shrink. Sleep Deprivation: Insufficient sleep deprives you of neurons and the ability to function properly. Also, lack of sleep dulls the senses and reflexes. Chronic sleep deprivation can make these effects permanent. So the next time you feel that you are too busy to get enough sleep, remember that until your prioritize your slumber, you won’t be performing at your best. Dehydration: The body is made up of 70% water so it is critical to every bodily function, including brain function. The effect of dehydration on your brain happens really quickly too, with researchers determining that even just two hours of heavy exercise without water can cause cognitive decline. In studies, it was found that dehydration impacted functions like complex problem-solving, coordination, and attention the most. Overeating: According to several studies, there is a connection between obesity and dementia and while the reasons are unclear, it is suspected that obesity occurs when the food we eat lacks nutrition, leading to the desire to overeat in order to meet the body’s need for vitamins and minerals. So even if you eat a lot, you could still be starving your brain. Too Much Sugar: Although the body and brain need sugar to function properly, too much of it on a regular basis can cause your cells, including brain cells, to go into a state of chronic inflammation. This impacts the ability of the body to absorb important nutrients from food and begins to starve the brain of what it needs for optimal cognition. Smoking: Smoking has a lot of negative effect on the body and clearly damages cell membranes and neural viability in the areas of the brain that manage balance, coordination, and both fine and gross motor skill. Not only that, it also thins the cortex, where processes including language, memory, and perception occur. Upvote and share your thoughts if this was helpful.
Males, as a general rule, never touch a woman on their thigh, waist, knee, or lower back unless you are her boyfriend or husband. Vastly inappropriate for anyone else and can definitely be construed as sexual harassment. Also, if this person has been a victim of domestic abuse, touching their wrists or shoulders could be triggering for them. Use good judgment and emotional intelligence before touching someone.
omg, I myself find it hard for people to make me laugh and I actually use the trick of watching some funny memes before going out. I am so happy you noted that point🤝🤝
I've been watching Charisma on Command for a while and even though I like the content and techniques that you present, I start on noticing that the examples of people you provide are professional actors. And would be nice if people from other professions and backgrounds are presented with good and bad behaviors/flaws, including people with similar economic class. There is a saying: the environment change the behavior. But since most of us are not actors it's more likely that most of us will never be in environments such as talk shows, celebrity interviews and so on. Considering most of these talk shows are scripted and similar questions are asked, this makes the filed of interest/topics differ from let's say "real world problems". And that is why is difficult to apply your techniques everywhere with everyone, as people are more confrontational and least understanding.
Imagine being in Emily Blunt's inner circle and always having access to that joking, fun, laughter, light heartedness and just ... presence. Sigh ... imagine 😂
Most of these examples are people who are “primed” meaning expected to laugh or entertain, it’s not as easy in a random setting g like at they gym, also some techniques that kill with certain people fall flat with others because of just a personal disconnect.
These are not "easy tricks". The things you listed are types of jokes that take a lot of experience and skill to actually pull off, jokes that someone with little experience wouldn't be able to do. These videos are for people who are already comfortable joking with people but just want to get better, who obviously wouldn't have an issue charming or not being boring. Here's the real tip for beginners: Start small, do improv, watch funny shows and comedians you think you are similar to, try to get comfortable with people and when you're comfortable enough try to make a joke whenever you can, failing and embarrassing yourself only means you are improving. There are no tricks to get better, the only trick is practice and hard work, both of which are essential to get to where you want to be.

We would honestly love a breakdown of Ariana Grande’s Body Language (like her Eyebrow raises, How she moves etc) because that’s the thing that her Impersonators copy the most. Also what made her be copied so much?
She's just INCREDIBLE and so FUNNY!
It’s interesting your videos mostly focus on confidence and charisma from a male perspective, would be great to see more from a female perspective cos a lot of the techniques you recommend tend to back fire due to societal bias.
Emily does really well due to her British sense of humour and disarming accent.
Great video!
This channel is full of value
Emily is someone that you need to be your lifetime partner, a person that never gets you bored 😊
Great video! And immensely helpful. Thanks to you and another channel talking about these issues. I have realised why I am how I am. These explanations have made me understand my behaviour and approach to life .
So thanks again, and please keep up the great content
What's the other channel?
this is like the nerd's guide to charisma xD
SO many rules. They all just come down to being comfortable and sincere really. I do most of this stuff without even realizing. Still love the channel
So yes Emily has so much magnetism
I love Emily Blunt and Cillian Murphy❤
As an introvert on the spectrum....im taking notes😅
7 Habits That Damage your Brain
There are certain lifestyle habits that affect our brains.
7 COMMON HABITS THAT DAMAGE YOUR BRAIN
Skipping Breakfast: Breakfast is considered the most important meal of the day and skipping this meal can result in low blood sugar levels, which is very damaging to the brain.

Apparently Emily Blunt is the queen of charisma
You seem to be telling us that Emily Blunt is the most charismatic human on earth.
I'm here for it.
Backhanded compliments are the way!! 👍
Ive always loved Emily Blunt and now I know why!
I am stronger than I thought! Amen!
omg, I myself find it hard for people to make me laugh and I actually use the trick of watching some funny memes before going out. I am so happy you noted that point🤝🤝
Introvert me really need this. Thanks!
I never miss a CoC clip!
Pretty damn good Tom Cruise impression.
Emily is so lovely and funny, i bet she's an excellent mother
Emily Blunt is such a lovable creature.
Emily is good at this. I'm not. I think of something clever to say about an hour later, after everybody's gone home.
Great video! It's worth listening to it. Thank you
Love Emily Blunt!!
One on Jhon Mullaney would be really cool and you could deconstruct things to avoid as well!
The biggest takeaway to improve conversations is to look like The Rock or Gosling and then you can say what you want and people will laugh.
I’m biased since I went to LSU--GREAT VIDEO
Love your story telling narrative
So be like Emily Blunt. Got it.
I agree.
Imagine being in Emily Blunt's inner circle and always having access to that joking, fun, laughter, light heartedness and just ... presence. Sigh ... imagine 😂
I just watched Adjustment Bureau this week
Ah, the Emily Blunt advertisement.
Emily Blunt will cheese every tabletop role-playing games with her 99 Charisma.
Most of these examples are people who are “primed” meaning expected to laugh or entertain, it’s not as easy in a random setting g like at they gym, also some techniques that kill with certain people fall flat with others because of just a personal disconnect.
I’m a Emily blunt fan now lol she’s very charismatic
Step 1 - be a very attractive person
Step 2 - if step 1 isn't applicable repeat step 1
post something about how to be charismatic virtually/ for people working from home
I don't recommend the first unless you know how to read a room And other people.
💯 This can very easily backfire depending on the vibe and your relationship with everyone else.
Okay okay… I already knew Emily Blunt was awesome. I’ve seen Sicario
There are no tricks to get better, the only trick is practice and hard work, both of which are essential to get to where you want to be.
thanks for making this video :) you're a gentleman and a scholar.
Nice video!!!! What do you think about using Zapier so we can use the memory key of GPT?
