Ask for your money back Steve. You knew more than the teachers. 😂 Seriously though guys,a lot of good information here today. Thanks for the wisdom. Thanks for the laughs. 🙏💚😎
You guys have some great videos, and it looks like you're all having a lot of fun out there. And, honestly, you recalibrated my expectations of what a 4Runner is actually capable of doing... some of your trails are quite sporty! We're picking up our very first 4Runner sometime later this month, with my prior off-roading being done in either an old stock Jeep XJ or a 3/4 ton long bed diesel truck. Looking forward to seeing what the 4Runner can do for us!
Thanks for the comment and congrats on the 4Runner! I think you will enjoy it. They are really are versatile rigs. You can off-road one weekend and then use it for a family trip or a home project the next weekend. Cheers!
Loved the video neighbor. Great advice. The only problem is what everyone seems to forget. Most of the vehicle is protected one way or another, MINUS THE DRIVE SHAFT. Pardon the language, screw the body, the drive shaft is one of the most important and unprotected parts of the vehicle. Eyes must be on that. Another part that is unprotected is the engine oil pan. You would think that there is no way for anything to hit that. My dad did. I was, like how the heck did he do that. I almost did the same. I saw a Jeep CJ with massive lift and 40" tires take out his oil pan. Do not just watch where the tires go, but also watch where the soft underbelly will be.
Great points my friend. I've had some heinous tree branches get caught up in the drive shaft. I'll try to add those points into a future video. Thanks.

You and Roscoe have done a great job growing the High Desert Overland event. I remember watching last year's video. At this rate, next year you'll have live bands and overland vendors!!
Thanks! The boots are legit. Its a pain for me to find boots I like. These were good right out of the box. No sponsorship, no commission. I'd tell you if I did not like them.

Yes, that's a good tip I probably should have mentioned. If you have the old hand level emergency brake, you can also use that for the rear axle. Thanks for adding that comment!
Steve is too noble to receive pity, so you won’t hear a “Poor Steve” out of me. But at what point does your brother reach his limit - and prank you back on a whole new level or graduate from bear attack to 100% honey badger? 🤣
I’ve seen a tab like we had in the military for Ranger and special forces, that’s says THAT GUY
Yeah, there's "That Guy" and there's also a "Regular Guy" one as well.
Love the pranks! Thank you for sharing your experience. You guys really know your stuff!

A magnetic student driver sign and not a sticker. Now that's brotherly love!

Both 4Runners have a 2 1/2 to 3 inch lift with 34 inch tires. Seems to be the sweet spot for us. Cheers!
